End of week 4 and this orange sherbet is finally pumping and has almost caught up to her sister (which I stunted this week 🤦‍♂️) I haven't defoliated or trained this girl, im going to leave her el natural for now. On day 27 I added a big dose of compost tea and she loved it, she's now praying to the lights and I'm stoked she's stoked Today on day 28 I repositioned the thermometer in the tent as it was too far from the plants, the girls were getting baked and not the good kind, they're all loving life now. I missed an update because i got that winter time saaaaaaaadness.. nah it's chill, i was just lazy to take photos let alone even check on them haha.. Which did make one plant unhappy, I should have done a feed sooner I had dental work done and felt like a POS. The ladies stacked on some masssss.. I did a really big haircut on them, took all fan leaves off unless on main colas, they still so bushy dang. I included some photos of them with no light and so purple!!!! I saw first amber trichomes so time is coming up here! it's a hybrid so i'm not going to go super amber, last feed was today then I start the flush! Got some lil seedies germinating also! Excited for new things! :) Hope ya'll been good n staying safe during another dumpster fire year lol. keeeeep it sleezy👻

All Girls matured and went to drying this week. I will include an harvest report once dried.

This week the plant continued to stretch reaching 55 cm. The tent is really feeling small both in height and width, the lamp is almost as high as it can get. I might have had done better with more pruning earlier, now I don't I don't want to stress too much this far into flowering. This week just removed some leaves and some branches without significant flowering from the bottom. Right after switching to a HID light for flowering, the leaves started drooping badly. The plant has mostly recovered from that. Flowers are getting bigger, slowly growing trichomes on the leaves too.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Besonderheiten: Sie wurde nach draußen umgepflanzt. -Tag 78 Heute haben wir ihr nochmals ne Ordentliche Dosis Jauche verpasst, sie ist nun ca 1.5 m hoch und der Geruch wird auch immer intensiver.😍 Diese Sorte ist einfach unglaublich, wenn es so weiter geht hat sie in ein paar Tagen die 1,7 oder 1,8 meter erreicht. für eine auto ist das sehr nice. -Tag 81 Heute war es wieder ein sehr Heißer Tag und wir haben sie wieder mit 5 Liter Wasser gegossen. sie ist nun 1,6 Meter hoch und wird noch immer weiter wachsen. -Tag 84 sie ist sehr durstig und hat wieder Wasser bekommen.

The purple Urkle had a great start, the plant was born well despite the cold and is doing better and better since she is taking the fertilizers. For now I have put the fertilizer to root and some special enzymes that transform the residues of previous plants into nourishment....perfect I would say to renew the soil as best as possible. Never stop at the first good results guys, always improving is fuel for the next day, to keep the passion alive and have results. Growing Projects ----- I will follow this procedure, it has given birth to a plant before that will be worked with topping x16 buds and various LST and I have just germinated the second plant that will be born about 13 days after the first and will go straight to the conclusion with the main cola. I must tell you in the past I was a maniac of the topping, then I felt nostalgic for the main cola. It is always a major sacrifice to give up the Main Cola. Day 126. She is down. That girl lived 90 days from seed touching soil. Its part of my Control Garden for proving/finding RQS strain issue. For 3 weeks veged bag seed plant who spent 75% of his life not under direct light, sometimes even in shade and under most intense air fan , she is GOLD ! Cure day. She could go two weeks longer, but ... 96 g ;))) again, i can only look and admire. Crazy strain. Update on night shift ;)
