******** Week 8 - Jan 27 to Feb 2/20 (Days 50 - 56 from seed popping out) She has continued to swell this week and stacking her buds. The hairs have remained a nice bright white all week pointing up. Noticing some curling a bit of the hairs towards end of the week. They are white but there is a small red hair here and there now. Giving her a couple more days of feed but flush is here soon. Heavier leaf strip on Wednesday and have continued through out as rotating her in the tent under the light. Took off probably 25%. Looked at a couple of lower buds and was going to strip them but at this point figured the heck with it and a little more for rosin😃 She is dark in my opinion and hope she will continue to feed and work through all that nitrogen. She was also given a feeding this week with Epsom Salts. A lot of red on some of the other plants so worked Magnesium Sulphate in that way. I think I could have gone harder on the CalMag earlier and/or introduced epsom salt earlier as well. Changed the light schedule this week. Moved her to 19 hours of light because she is not falling to sleep at lights out. I know that I could have the lights closer but given how Skywalker has grown I can’t lower them as much as I would like. Will try compensating with longer daylight period.😉 Worth a try! Will keep up Liquid Weight and Rezin to the end and see how she is as a result. Not used these supplements before. Not sure if I will use AN Flawless Finish this run or not? Little more detail: Jan 27/20 - Day 50 - Feed: 2L - Mass @ 4ml, Terp@ 3ml, Vitathrive&Rezin&LW8@ 2ml, DF@ 1ml = 1150ppm with 6.0pH - pot was light Jan 28/20 - Day 51 - 2L: Rezin @ 2ml, CalMag & LW8 @ 1.5ml = 360ppm. Left a lower pH this feed. - Used heavier CalMag today as purple stems is increasing.....looking at using Epsom Salts. - striped some leaves today but hers a pretty narrow so left quite a few. - tip burn more prominent in spots today. Jan 29/20 - Day 52 - full feed today as listed above. 3L - 1125ppm with 6.2pH - runoff: 1000ppm with 6.1pH - continued leaf strip. Jan 30/20 - Day 53 - 2L feed: Epsom Salt @ 1tsp/G, Rezin & LW8 @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel A and B @ 1ml = 1000ppm 6.15pH - used Epsom Salt today. - They were very happy today in the morning. Swelling up. - They are not falling to sleep at night so moving to 19 hours light. First day. Jan 31/20 - Day 54 - Feed: 2L - Sensyzime @ 2ml/L - 30ppm 6.15pH - plain water feed today. Sensyzime to clean up the roots. - Feb 1/20 - Day 55 - dry out day. Nothing at all today. - give nice perfect feed tomorrow. Getting close to end of feedings make sure medium is correct. Feb 2/20 - Day 56 - pot nice and dry today. She was happy this morning and given a large feed. - 4L of full strength for the week. - run off 1400ppm and 6.4pH...... - Took a few more leaves. - See very little red hairs. Still mainly nice straight shinny white.....keep going girl.....no rush! - she is just a beauty actually. She has been suffering through a high pH and still manages to grow swell. 10/19: This morning when I opened up the closet I wanted to rearrange a little, but they were so packed in, it was almost impossible. So, I went up in the attic and ran some cables and hooked up my other 200w light in the top section. I moved the 4 smallest plants up there and it created a little bit of desperately needed space in the lower section...but I still doubt very seriously that I'll be able to grow all 15 to completion in there..it's only 14.5 square feet of space!😳 10/20: I foliar fed everybody with some SP-90 humic/fulvic acid and kelp me kelp you today. They will probably get fed again tomorrow. Drying out quickly- 10/21: I applied Axiom again today..I sprayed a whole liter of the finest mist I could produce..tops and bottoms of all leaves to the point of runoff. I fixed up a 5 gallon batch of nutes and fed everybody about a 1/4 gallon each. Later the same day.... Several of them look very overwatered..and it's mainly the plants in the back in fabric pots that have seen a grow or two. I think my pots are mainly just too close together for airflow to dry the bottoms out well enough. I put another big fan in the closet and turned off the evap cooler for the night. 10/22: Most of them look better this morning, but a few are still droopy, so I used a stainless steel skewer to poke a thousand little holes in the lower part of all the fabric pots in the garden to try and improve oxygen availability to the roots. I also carefully arranged the garden so that there are gaps between all the pots. I think I'll also space my waterings a little further apart. The topsoil is drying out well enough, but I don't want their roots sitting in muck. 10/23: Several of them are flowering now, and starting to stretch a little bit. I raised the lights about 2 inches today and dialed the ac infinity's high temp trigger up to 88f for a bit to get them to dry out a little faster, so the RH climbed a little higher as well...so I also set the ac infinity's high humidity trigger threshold to 65%. After observing signs of nitrogen toxicity on several of them, I realized that I made another rookie mistake...(where is my head??) The new 5 gallon bucket I'm using to mix a batch of nutes must be about 2 inches shorter than the one I had been using, and I never bothered to calibrate it....which I did today. So, for the past couple of feedings, I've been mixing in enough nutes for 5 gallons, but in only 4 gallons of water!!! I foliar fed them with BoomBoom Spray and gave them about 8oz each of boomerang and cal-mag early in the morning, and by 5pm they all looked happier. I'll give them a little drink of plain water tomorrow, then start them on flowering nutes the next day. 10/24: Several are starting to stretch now...and all but one are flowering. This morning I fed them another little dose of boomerang and cal-mag, and also added some bembe and open sesame to the mix. This afternoon, I foliar fed everybody very thoroughly with some humic/fulvic acid, seaweed extract, yucca extract, and big bloom (for the earthworm castings and minor and trace elements) I repotted the dwarf in a smaller container and gave it to my son. He's a bonsai enthusiast, so it's right up his alley...that's one less plant to deal with! 10/25: This evening I mixed up 5 gallons of pretty much everything except grow big. and gave everybody about 1/4 gallon each. I plan to flush them with sledgehammer on Sunday or Monday and only do foliar feedings like BoomBoom spray and fulvic acid until I resume normal bloom feeding mid-week. Because I've had such a good veg, I'm pretty sure the maximum number of plants I'll be able to fit into the lower section is 13...and maybe only 12. So, that will be my 4 or 5 shortest plants in the area above..in which case, I'll need more light... I think the new UVB light will have to wait until my next grow because I've got so spend a couple hundred bucks on seeds to be able to start another batch right before my current run finishes.😖😞😩😡

Finally got into the orange dream to get some pics , the critical XL was in front of her and got so weighty I couldn’t move her out the way to get to the orange 😊👌🔥, so with having moved the critical into the dry tent waiting to get trimmed I could get to the orange. This orange is weighty , phat , solid and smells of orange zest she’s got maybe another two weeks max just to finish off so this week I’ll take some of those faded leaves off and start backing off her feed . I’ve been smoking a bit of this already and it’s so good , my fave smoke I’ve ever smoked so moreish and doesn’t sit you right down but instead gets the creative juices flowing it’s gonna be so fun smoking it all . These Dutch fem genetics are so different than other strains I’ve smoked so stoked to have grown them .

So harvest time finally. Only 2 plants at the end but still I am happy with the result. After cutting them I placed them for 4 days inside the dark tent. I struggle a bit with the humidity as the air was really dry. So now its time for curring. I have placed the bud inside jars. Lets wait for a few weeks to have a first try ! DAY 2: Watering with 2.5L. Nutrients as in description. I have noticed small symptoms of underwatering and also little stress of heat. Therefore I just reduces light intensity from 100% to about 85% and moved the lamp a about 5cm higher. DAY 4: Recovered fully from heat stress and underwatering. Already noticed some small hairs so flowering just began! DAY 5: Watering with 2.5L of water. The pot was already bit light. After flip to 12/12 I have instantly noticed she needs watering 1 day faster then before. I also removed some yellowed leaves and hidden small branches which would not see the light either.

The plants have thrived under a regimen of defoliation, lollipopping, and scrogging, developing into robust specimens ready for the flowering stage. The extended watering intervals and the consistent application of our chosen nutrient blend, Alga Grow, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, have supported their vigorous development, ensuring they are well-nourished and hydrated. However, managing the environmental conditions, particularly during the night, has presented some hurdles. The recent introduction of a custom-built extraction box has been our latest strategy to combat the high humidity levels we've been battling during the lights-off period. This innovative solution has shown promising results, offering a more controlled grow atmosphere by extracting humid air directly outside, preventing it from lingering in the lung area of our setup. Despite this improvement, the integration of the Mars Hydro fan with the Tent-X system remains unresolved, leading to less than ideal fluctuations in our VPD levels. The lack of support from Mars Hydro, Secret Jardin, and even TrolMaster in providing clear guidance for this integration has been a stumbling block. We're considering a shift back to the reliable Prima Clima system, known for its seamless compatibility and ease of use. In the spirit of community and shared growth, we're reaching out for any advice on connecting a 5-phased PWM motor to the TrolMaster controller. The collective wisdom of this community has always been a guiding light, and any insights would be greatly appreciated. Some of the leaves are yellow/ brown. Did a bit of research, looks like soil might be dry (especially due to high temps during this time of year) and possibly leaves being burnt by sun. Watering with a little bit more volumes of water, based on extra heat. Will track and see how week goes. The 2 bad fan leaves which looked really bad, I cut them off. Increase in volume of water for plants really helped due to really hot temperatures. Week 10 no nutrients (only used on 1st day and 2nd day of week 10) , just straight water.

7/7 Grow diaries isnt letting me post a harvest week. So heres a little teaser. 65 grams dry. 2ounces 9. kaprikorns website says this is a low yielding plant. i cannot fathom what their high yeilding plants will do. this cultivar was only 12 inches from the soil line. i trained her fairly intensely but it was worth it. not much larf and the main nugs are nice and uniform. if you didnt train this plant, i can see how it wouldnt really yield much.
