The Banana Purple Punch is looking fantastic as it enters its 7th week of flowering! After checking the trichomes, it’s clear this plant needed a bit more time to mature compared to others, but the wait has been worth it.🌱 This week, I’ve started flushing to prepare for harvest. If all goes as planned, it’ll be ready to cut and hang by the week after next. The buds are looking dense and frosty, and I’m excited to see the final result!😊 So far, everything is progressing beautifully, and I’m really happy with how this plant is finishing up.

Hola tod@s, pues aquí tenéis las RQS North Thunderfuck Como podéis ver en las imagenes están a tope, el resultado de las podas no puede haber sido mejor, plantas compactas con 3 - 4 colas principales, pues al hacer la poda apical las ramas inferiores han alcanzado la altura de las principales. Al final no las trasplante a 11l, no quería que se hiciesen demasiado grandes para que tuviesen más espacio entre ellas y así fomentar la circulación de aire para evitar el oidio, en los últimos días ha estado lloviendo y como os he comentado en otras entradas, a no ser que tengas una sala de cultivo con opticlimate o te hallas gastado mucho dinero en aislamientos y equipo, el clima de fuera afecta al interior también. Lo mejor es usar preventivos, así se evitan las sorpresas indeseadas. Pronto empezarán a asomar los primeros pistilos blancos, iré subiendo la EC poco a poco, en esta ocasión creo que podré subir un poco más, esta variedad es una comilona de cuidado, así que llegaré a los 1.9 - 2.0 de EC. Hace tiempo que buscaba una variedad que reaccionase así a las podas, al tener las ramas casi todas a la misma altura recibiran mucha más luz y más tratandose de iluminación LED que penetra menos que otro tipo de iluminaciones, lo cuál debe traducirse en una mejor producción. he realizado una última poda de bajos, ya no podré hacer más, para estimular el crecimiento de las ramas superiores, aparte en estas variedades de hoja tan ancha hay que quitar bastante, sin miedo, por la misma razón que comentaba antes de la penetración de luz. Espero que todo siga así y pronto empezarán a tener las primeras flores, saludos!!! 😃

trimmed and netted the plants last night, 12/30, and the energy pushed the plants to stretch another 1/2 inch+ this will be the last week of vegetation as I prep this light leaking tent for flower, not a fan of mars hydro at all right now. their poles are the weakest I've encountered yet, too many light leaks and this is the first grow with it. My high cfm fan , which is only a 4", is pulling the fabric too much and causing the leaks to grow a bit. This is not new, its been happening with indoor tents for a while now but I thought a grow company such as MH would have a decent, respectable tent. My solution is Blackout Curtains draped over the sides. However, I am hesitant to do this with the MH tent as the poles for the tent are too weak as it is, tsk tsk tsk mars hydro. will continue to increase the watts the next 6 days HAPPY NEW YEAR a combination of light and fresh soil has made the plants stretch so I will finish tightening up the MH tent today and ill start flower tomorrow, day 62. while adjusting the height I must have nudged the dial for the dimmer and sent it to 184w. this would have been a big jump but manageable but I lowered the light 7" and the plants took a bit of a hit. I adjusted the light back down to 160w and I'll let the plants recover before anymore adjustments.

Hey So I had to harvest a little earlier now because I'm going on vacation, so I'm done with everything 2 weeks before :) It was quite easy to grow it has a very strong smell and generally a strong effect it tastes sweet/sour/woody It is sticky and the buds are quite heavy I harvested 146.5g dry weight from a plant :))

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

Hi all. I hope to are all as interested as I am to see what this light can really do. I have been learning g to use l.e.d for the past 3 years and the majority of that has been using Mars Hydro lights. I originally grew for a few decades in HPS 600 watt bulbs and laughed at the new kid on the block ( l.e.d) and its fancy boxing and blurple colours and never saw a tine I could afford the kind of L.e.d that was being used by industrial and pharmaceutical grade growers worldwide. These were always way too expensive to make the conversion worth the benefits to my home growing. I started on the Mars Tsl2000 and soon had 2 , then added an sp250 followed by the very good sp3000 . Having the chance to try this new 300w beauty and its sexy framework too , was an opportunity too good to miss so here we are.It has been a lesson in training for a slight penetration difference mainly between the hps and l.e.d and keeping them in light as direct as I can. They are running at 50% for now as the ladies are just adjusting to the soil mix . The 2 Mexican airline are having a slight issue with the soils strength I think so have only just really started to settle down. I thought one was going to die of toxicity but it has kept going . The Strawberry Pie seem the most settled so far and are beginning to put their next leaf sets out but the six Shooter also has signs of disliking the initial soil mix. A few more days to settle in and a good watering cycle should sort them out better. So not much to really report this early on except we got 6 from 6 as a start lets hope it stays productive. Hey everyone First week of flowering here Plant is doing great Removed some starting popcornbuds and took away some mint and Lemon Balm. Was getting bushy down there 😂 Gave a last feeding with Alga Grow, next I will start up flowering nutrients. PH around 5,8. Will water in a bit higher next time. Sprayed her with Vita Race for one of the last times. Neem Oil doing his job too, no bugs to see 🙏 Weather is not that great. Not that much sun and cold nights. Lots of rain this week too and upcoming week no difference 😒... What a great summer huh haha So far so good See you guys next week Happy growing 😉🙏
