I'm guessing there are 2 weeks to go? The trichomes still look mostly clear, but the amber is definitely creeping up. I may have started flushing too soon because the ingoing ppm almost matches the outgoing ppm. Trying not to miss the first harvest date! I'm going to purchase a USB microscope to take better trichome pics.

Very enjoyable grow, awesome cultivar, this is what I work for, my nuggets have been grown with love and dedication and the final result is a a plant that has been very thankful and she has provided me amazing sticky flower with those red hairs that I love so much, very strong cerebral buzz, sativa high definitely, makes me remember a lot sour diesel, definitely super pungent loud 🔊 aroma coming from the jars but she was stinking the grow tent when she was there, amazing strain!

Still drying the babies out they are stinky I tested like 4 days out 🤣🤣🙄it tasted like plant azz I tested again today and very gassy but still 4 more weeks 🤣🤣? 09/18/2021 At battle with catapillar this week Hand picking them off, some bud rot caused by catapillar's . Light defoiliating dying, yellowing leaves. Hand picking is tedious but well worth the effort. Feeding neptunes harvest 2-3-1 this is last week of feeding. Drinking lots of water this week gave each plant 2.0 gallons of Neptunes Harvest 2-3-1 hope it works out couldn't find fox farms, or big buds but I'm sure they will be fine.....will feed again on Friday then plain water for 3-4 weeks till harvest. Feeding should get them through the next two weeks then watering plain water should flush anything not needed by plants. Girls are thirsty this week, just in time for feeding! Neptunes Harvest seems to do the trick. Pistils piling on like crazy so one more feeding on Friday Of 2-3-1 and Week 7-8 banana peel tea, she should start Fattening up,and fading nicely by week 8-9.🙏🏻 The NPK value for banana skins is 0.6-0.4-11.5. But this is the value for dried banana skins. (I will make tea from peels) not sure of N-P-K Is for peel tea? But it works well in my opinion. Day # 6 week 6 applied gypsum today gypsum should help a little with PH issues,7.0 a little to alkaline but she will grow, but she thrive at 6.2 PH

This week went pretty good, the flowers are getting super sticky and smell amazing, but they're packing on quite as much weight as I hoped. I had a friend over who told me it looked like I was growing a tree in a solo cup, so I think I might run these same genetics back next and pot her up from a solo cup to a 3 gallon pot, get the manifold built, then pot up to a 12.5 gallon air pot. I am going to take the wife on a couple vacations or "holidays" as most of you would say. But yeah I plan to run the same genetics, same training, same lights, everything and see what kind of difference a larger pot alone can make. Anyways not much left for me to do until harvest, I am watching the trichomes closely, I will probably start the flush within a week or so. Thanks for stopping by, be safe and blaze on.

Mintz Runtz automatic is doing good, she is forming her colas. I turned on the Saturn 240 under canopy light today after lollipopping her. It is on 30 percent power as it is pretty close. I did have to recalibrate my ph pen, it was a bit off. I was getting nute burn when solution was getting low. Everything is looking alright. Completing their first week of bloom. They’ll be measured again on Sunday but going into flower they sat at 42”. There was a runt and I was able to hoist up the xxl autopot to even out the canopy before flipping. I did a heavy defoliation but you’d never know. I’ll wait until stretch is over and really get in there to open up the airflow. Super healthy and very vibrant. Constantly praying and up taking Lotus extremely well. I expect a 10-11 week bloom. Luego de una etapa vegetativa con muchos problemas se agrega un accidente que me deja sin las copas de dos de los ejemplares. En esta etapa casi llegando al final de vegetativo, voy aprovechar los últimos días de calor del verano que se va en unos días para que crezcan lo más posible. Siempre estimulando y agregando nutrientes para su salud.

May 31st Everything is looking good after the LST from last week, I said I was going to swap them into flower and I realized that I should wait another week or so as they will be going into a new home so to speak. Updates coming next week for that. Doesn't look like to many PH issues anymore or whatever was happening but the plants seem a bit happier now June 1st I Figured today would be a good day to do a bit of defoliation on these girls in order to get some more light down to the newer growth. I didn't take a ton off as you can see, but for the size of the plant I suppose it was a decent amount. I read somewhere that a general rule of thumb is only defoliate roughly 30% of the plant at most. I'm not to sure if it is true but I tried to stay within that general rule. June 2nd, I decided since I would have them in veg for at least a little while long I would top them again. After topping I gave them some water and nutrients. I know I said I would do straight water for the next one but I went for it anyways as it seems the flowering mixture may be giving it some deficiency's. So I gave them the recommended feeding for heavy veg growth. I gave about 3L to the bigger plant and around 2L to the smaller plant (as it was still a bit moist but it wasn't damp). My crappy soil tester was saying my soil was at around 8PH so I figured I would aim to feed around 6ph. With the small amount of runoff from the smaller plant I did A PH test and the PH seemed to be around the 4.5-5ph area. My liquid ph meter arrived broken so I am waiting for the new one, therefore I am using the general hydroponics liquid test kit. I presume my soil ph is lower then the water I have given seeing as it went from 6ph water to around 4.5. Next feeding I will aim to feed at 7PH. With the defoliation I just made sure that the tie downs were decently tight still and moved what I thought needed to be moved. June 3rd,4th Not a ton to update on. I didn't get any pictures for these 2 days. June 5th Some obvious problems going on with the bigger plant. I am guessing it is the PH issue but I am still unsure. The one browned leaf I accidentally squished in the tie down while I was low stress training it so it got a bit damaged. Other then that the plants are growing decent. Im not sure why I didn't have more pictures for today but I mainly took problems of the problem areas. June 6th Not much going on still. They are still just hanging out not doing to much. It was a busy work week so pictures in general were a bit lazy. I will try to get more for the upcoming weeks. Big news for next week!

I really didn't do much lst because it's our first and we have more than enough to deal with. They're coming along fine. Only issue is old watering technique. I'd accidentally get water on the leaves n it burnt them a smidge. I've since changed the way I water....more carefully with a hose attached. The mimosa autoflower r n amended soil. The others r Fox farm ocean happy frog and coco loco.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain.
