Still nute burn on new growth even though I'm not feeding them at all. I just got a new water filter and thinking about a distiller. Previously was just letting the chlorine evap off by letting the water sit over time. Still havent tested my tap water yet but i assume its bad b/c i can feel that it is hard water for sure. Just rolling with the punches for now. Got my gf to take a decent pic of the most mature plant this week. It is almost ready i believe.

So i apparently lost a buncha the pictures from this. :/ Fatso is probably my favorite plant so far. Very pretty and also very forgiving. Probably the most pictures I’ve ever taken of a plant before.. which makes it extra sucky that I’ve lost most of the ending pictures. She made nice buds even though she was starving to death for a couple weeks from lockout. It took me that losing to get it sorted. Her buds would have probably been even bigger than they were.. jeez. Anyhow, after drying and curing a little bit - good goood smoke and high. If you’re not a heavy/long time smoker.. I’d suggest not doing anything that needs real focus. Definitely a make you miss your exit weed.. not that anyone should be driving high lol. Sorry bout the lack of pictures.

Day 51 - Into the beginnings of week 8 and all is looking good so far. She’s still got a few days before she needs any water and she’s really fattening up each day. Other than that, not much happening with her. Day 52 - She’s definitely fattened up quite a bit the last couple of day but hard getting the light spread out to some of her outer branches so my new light should be here and installed tomorrow. She’ll be needing her watering tomorrow as well, she’s almost dry. Day 53 - Gave her 2 gallons of plain pH’d water today and she seems to be the only one not really bothered by the heat in the tent. I’m doing what I can to keep things as cool as I can but not helping much. Either way, this girl still seems to be thriving so not complaining too much about her. Day 54 - Looks good after watering yesterday, he next will be nutes. She is fattening up beautifully. Other than that, I think she’s really liking the second light in there and the heat doesn’t seem to bother her too much though it’s finally cooling down a bit. Day 55 - Nothing major happening today, she’s doing good after her watering yesterday and it appears she’s still chunking up. Got some updated pictures today as well.

Saturday 28th, 2024 April (week 4 & 30 days) The plants are getting thicker and taller, had a little mold on the bamboo skewer stick so I took all of them out. So now they’re standing tall between the garden ties. Pineapple Express (A) is winning the race for sure. I need to get a fan soon to clear out all the moisture. On Monday they’ll be a month old then it’s time for nutrients. Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. The FastBuds Tropicana Cookies are all doing great! Two plants, the #1 & #3, are expressing a beautiful dark purple coloration in their flowers, while the #2's flowers are the normal green with snow white pistils and already have a good amount of trichomes formed. I'm continuing to feed them 6 times a day for 15min. each feed, and have adjusted the nutrient level down to 800ppms. The 650R is now 26" above canopy, set to 100% output. 11/14- I'm continuing with daily monitoring of the AirCube reservoir, checking/adjusting ph and topping off with straight water. The solution strength in the reservoir is still hitting 650ppm but is starting to get discolored so I'll be doing a drain/refill in the next 48hrs before it gets funky. 11/17- Today I drained the reservoir and refilled it with straight well water that has a .3 EC(100ppm) to which I added Plagron's Cocos 'A' and 'B' in equal amounts, Green Sensation, and Royal Rush at 1ml/L and 2ml/L respectively. I also added the last dose of silica, then ph'd the solution to 5.7 @ 69℉. I also went through all three plants, adjusting their LST and tucking a few leaves that were blocking light. 11/18- There goes Week 3 of flower and I can't wait for the upcoming weeks where these ladies will really be strutting their stuff! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life!
