Ok, so I forgot to update this last week. woops, I will try and remember all the details but im sure to be forgetting something. I decided to strip the plants a bit as I felt their bottom half under the canopy was a bit to thick and under performing It has a bunch of shity stems and buds trying to develop and they where looking sad and spindly, not enough light, If i had under canopy lighting sure that's fine I'd leave em and they would thicken up, but I don't; so they had to go. I selected defoliation as a techniques used but I did not touch anything in the canopy. only below it, it was all not performing well and would have just increased the risk of bad airflow and maybe rot come late flower. I also have been noticing more issues with the one plant then the others and my hydro shop guys said it need more feed, I don't know how much I agree with them about that, they do not grow with amendments but it was time for the topdressing anyways. I mixed up the stuff and worked it into the top soil of the plants outside on the deck, when watering it in I also mixed it with my hands, I found this helps hydrate the Gaia Green powders and prevented them from forming dry pucks in the top layer. I think I need to always do this morning forward with all top dressings as just mixing it into the dry soil then watering is causing to much resistance and the top layer then gets a little bit crusty and hydrophobic, but mixing in while watering at the same time has prevented that from what I can tell. I also gave them a bit of a liquid soluble calcium as the PH was creeping back up again and didn't want that to be locked out. It helped to green up some of the plants again still the one is a bit to yellow for my liking. The top dress consisted of AP 4-4-4, PB 2-8-4 and some IF 3-2-4 Mixed it all up with something else can't remember, probably fulvic acids and magnesium. I also did a bit of a calibration on my tools as well as I felt they might be off a bit. The EC was not to bad, off by 41ppm or 0.082EC vs the base solution, my unit is a 500 scale pen eg. 500ppm=1.0EC PH was a bit more off by PH 0.18 from the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I did not do a before for the PH 7.01 calibration solution as I started at 4.01 but its still close enough in the end at PH 7.03. The storage solution is almost always the same as the PH 4.01 calibration solution. In their manual it says if you don't have any storage solution just use the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I feel they maybe the same thing but one has red dye and some stabilizers in it. Who knows. O and when working on my deck garden I was upcycleing the old cannabis growing mediums into the planters from the strawberry tent grow off, the one shaft from an older plant was purple inside when I broke it. It sat outside all winter so who knows what it was, I'm guessing its just anthocyanins or something similar. Hi everyone 🤗. The last 5 women are nearing their end 😍. They will be harvested in the next 2-3 weeks. The rest of the ones that have already been harvested are currently fermenting 😍. The finished harvest pictures come when everyone is finished together 👍. This ends the last diary that was kept with several varieties. So alot has happened since the beginning I had to keep them longer than I wanted in my small room as my previous grow still wasn't quite finished, so to help with this I topped both strawberries and tried abit of LST on the others, generally happy with how things are going so far will be moving them to there final home next week

Sooo, I'm not sure if I may have shocked and stressed this LSD-25 a bit too early because there's a ton of preflowers and she just had been lacking the growth I've seen when in comparison to my Strawberry Pie Auto. But with that being said, she does look healthy at least

Girls are doing great! Especially for entering the final week! They are getting watered every day to every other day. Letting them dry out a little. Got hit with some recharge and mammoth P for the first time. Just cause I got some for Black Friday. Pulled plant number four from the other tent. Wanted to wait for some amber and happy I did

Hi guys it’s been 2 weeks since the last update. She has been growing at a nice steady pace. Not too much lateral growth but she is getting wider. Have used a few garden stakes for lst & have been leaf tucking and defoliating selectively. She is also in pre flower low lights already at 24/0 and have been giving a P/K spike in her nutrition to initiate flower. She is responding well to the feeds. No topping so she will be growing in all her glory how she is meant to grow. She’s stout and bushy and hasn’t given me any problems at all. Leaves are a nice rich green so she is all good no deficiency that I’ve noticed. What a strain! This was the first Autoflower I ever grew some years back so this is sentimental to me. I’ll be back next week now that we are off to the races. Thanks to fastbuds for the genetics. Won’t let you guys down Let’s grow!!!!

Hoping these girls start to bulk up soon. This is all organic- just being fed with water, glucose, and the Gaia Green soil bloom nutrient top dressings every other week. Goal is to see what I can do with bare minimum and then press the yields with nutrient feedings in the future. Anyone with organic growing experience - these look normal size for where we are at in flower? I know we have a month or so to go but the roots seem to be pretty compacted at this point in 5 gallons pots. I think I’d go to 3 - 10 gallon fabric pots for next grow. Let me know what works best for you.

Welcome to the start of week 2 ( 4 days of actual plant life the rest were germ days ) These ladies are kicking it strong 47#1 is already working on her second set and her sister is far behind working on hers as well ! This ones doing good its getting a slow flush since it could still use a little longer. Nice fat buds on her though gunna see how the final product is before I decide if I will run it again. Started the flush on most of these last week. Everything has been steady all around. Going to start taking them down a few at a time over the next week or 2 some will go longer than others so they'll come down 3 or 4 at a time. 🌸 Week 3 Flower – The Jungle Takes Over The girls are now towering at 1.20 m, turning our tent into a proper green jungle. Both phenotypes are thriving with thick stalks, lush foliage, and a dense network of branches promising a spectacular flower set. This week was all about control and balance. ✂️ Defoliation & Growth Management Although these plants have been allowed to grow naturally so far, their explosive stretch meant I had to step in. I performed a strategic defoliation, not because the plants were weak, but to: • Improve airflow through the canopy. • Ensure light reaches lower bud sites. • Slow vertical growth and help prevent them from outgrowing the tent. Even with a high ceiling, there’s still a risk of running out of headroom during the last stretch. Defoliating at this stage also redirects energy to bud formation instead of excessive leaf production. Note: During this process, a few branches were accidentally broken while moving them out for photos. I left this in the report and photos as a learning moment, large plants can be tricky to handle.
