Decided they were ready to harvest! As always, I鈥檓 so grateful for the beautiful growing experience! Not a huge harvest but I learned/observed a few things this grow: - 5 gallon plastic buckets did not work great for me. Kept way too much moisture and it really hurt the plants. I鈥檒l stick to fabric pots for now on 馃槵 - I couldn鈥檛 figure out how to regulate the grow room for the optimal temp/humidity the plants needed. I finally figure it out, but these plants suffered big time. BUT I鈥檓 glad they survived and am grateful for what they did produce! Plant C was such a joy to watch grow with its natural split. I will update with final weights and more details later!

This was my first photoperiod grow. It was a great experience. I kept the veg cycle short to keep it more manageable and so it wouldn't be as terrible if I screwed something up toward the end and needed to trash it. I'll grow MANY more photo plants in the future. Some of the autos have small yields. I doubt that's an issue with these babies! 馃挭 This girl got so big that even with added supplements to help keep her stem strong, almost all her branches bent. They were HUGE. The color got very light toward the end and the leaves got a little stress because I didn't manage the humidity well. *I think* It got down in the 20s a lot. It had a fairly strong aroma toward the end of the grow but nothing compared to it's tent partner. She looks like she started fox tailing a little toward the end. Also, most likely due to temp and humidity. Closets are hard to control. All in all, this was an enjoyable grow and I look forward to trying it again and hopefully growing an even better one!! 馃榿

This week I will also raise the light a bit to get the girls to stretch a bit more. This week will also be the first day the girls get a some actual nuts

It was fun to grow in the back yard. I wouldn鈥檛 grow again though. They get stressed and stunted very easily. Don鈥檛 smell. Low yield. Low potency.

More mistakes made (I'm so worried I'm killing them), but trying to tone everything down to recover. I'm staying with 25% of nutes for now Smell has increased. My whole basement has a very green "Plant" smell. It's less earthy now and more green. First floor only smells on occasion... No carbon filter used yet... Day 50 July 16 raised lights (saw a lot of light burn) and reduced power to 75%. fed 800ml water each (saw a bit of nutrient burn, slowing it down a bit) Day 52 July 18 #2 1100ml to each 2.5ml calmag, 2.5ml micro, 1.25ml gro, 3.75ml per gallon. pH meter issues 1L fed to each Day 54 July 20 fed each 1l of water Day 55 July 21 nut made 2.5ml calmag, 2.5ml micro, 1.25ml gro, 3.75ml bloom 6.36ph ppm 490 fed 1L each

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I鈥檓 going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I鈥榤 not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn鈥檛 see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I鈥檓 going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I鈥檓 going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I鈥檓 just indirectly running a small usb fan. I鈥檓 not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can鈥檛 wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it鈥檚 sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn鈥檛 get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I鈥檒l have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

I received the clones from An out of province breeder. It reached me after three days of driving on the road with no light. Their future was not certain. I didn鈥檛 think I would need that many fans for the clones because they are so tiny, I figured they didn鈥檛 need that much maintenance. I was 100% wrong when I鈥檓 working with this many plants. I ended up getting mild mildew on top of the soil on the first week because there was barely any air circulation. At this point I didn鈥檛 have any Ventilation put up yet. And one fan on the floor. I ended up installing three fans in one room. No issues

2024-05-09 I transplanted the Tangie today, it was not totally necessary, but i was in the mode ( transplanting nearly every Plant who need to) and i know now, she will be fine for the next 3 weeks she sits in 8l smartpot, filled with Terra preata MJ Mix- BREEDER INFO Tangerine Snow F1 Fast Feminised is a 75% sativa, four-way cross of (Boost x Tangelo) with (Lavender x Power Plant). This Fast F1 hybrid is bred from Cali genetics and boasts great citrus terps, high resin production for extracts, high levels of THC, very good yields and excellent mould resistance. Tangerine Snow F1 Fast can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor flowering times are between 8 - 10 weeks while harvest time in northern latitudes is during September while in the southern hemisphere growers will be harvesting during March. Recommended climate regions are hot, dry, humid and warm. These are tall, semi-branched plants that grow in excess of 200cm and display a high degree of vigour with very good uniformity. In common with many other heavily sativa-dominant strains, Tangerine Snow F1 Fast offers excellent resistance to mould as well as to plant pests and diseases. The combination of citrus terps and plenty of resin makes thi a very good extract strain with the 'washing' method delivering very good yields of hash. The citrus terpene profile is reminiscent of mandarins and tangerines and also has sweet candy notes. THC production has been lab-verified at a strong 24% while CBD is low. The effect is uplifting and energising, perfect for use during the day and early evening.

Caught up... things are going well, Bruce stretched like crazy and has evened up its canopy to the others idk if it's that big bud in it or what. Lilac has looked a solid week and half ahead of the others since flower, she looks wicked though, trichromes are starting to build. I've done my last training, I usually go hard on thinning but I'm trying to be conservative and only uncover buds under leaves. Still same feeding routine.. looking forward to the finish line but know this is an important time with terms and trichromes beginning to resonate... I sick at this guy's but I want to get better at chronicling my grows.. so hourly I will improve in the process of Journaling.
