Smell is getting more intense as expected a pleasant mix of flowery and piney notes filling the space. Because of my hay fever, I couldn’t really air the room out much, so conditions haven’t been too favorable. Humidity is creeping up, so I’ll need to turn the dehumidifier up a notch. CO₂ levels are also sitting quite high. Buds are swelling nicely, with lots of long pistils reaching out. At this stage, I’d say they’re medium dense, i don't expect rock solid buds from this strain.

Amnesia hybrid 2022

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Que hay familia, yo deseando finalizar estas cookies que han fascinado me tienen, tienen un buen porte y unos buenos satélites, un ejemplar creció demasiado pero not bad. Ph controlado y humedad / temperatura relativamente dentro de los parámetros correctos. Nuestras crazy cookies de zambezaseeds visualmente están espléndidas, tienen un verde sano que me gusta, y principalmente no es difícil de cultivar tampoco, hay que tener algo de cuidado con la altura y pasarlas pronto a floración. Por lo general tienen un buen comportamiento en indoor , así que veremos estas semanas el crecimiento y la formación de las flores.

The Sweet Gelatos are almost there still waiting on the trichomes to ripen. I expect I'll harvest them this weekend. The Gorillas have still a way to go, possibly another 2 weeks or more. They both have produced large thick dense colas but the ZkittleZ are by far the largest and thickest easily as thick as a woman's thigh! I've procured a new light so I've added it as side lighting for now... 800watt led side light! 🙈 Begone popcorn buds and larf!🤭

16/03/22 Refill 4L, and add nutrients in recommended proportions (except a bit more Flora Bloom, and a bit less Flora Grow) I set the EC at 1.75 and pH was at 6. 14/03/22 I did a gentle defoliation 12/03/22 Refill 4L, and add nutrients in recommended proportions (except a bit more Flora Bloom, and a bit less Flora Grow) I'll stay at EC 1.65 this time and pH was at 6. Lately I don't have really to adjust pH, may be PH Down 1ml for 12L of bottom tank to drop 6.1 to 5.9 every 4 days.

Potted the plants up in final pots mid week and removed the smallest plant from the grow. Had trouble with temps dropping to below 15c this week and had PH levels going up to 7, both all sorted now and look to be growing well since making adjustments.

Pink Mist is looking good, has stopped growing as much, and is starting to get into proper flower. I have much else to say, however it seems I'm unable to, due to grow diaries cutting off all my comments, so I decided to save myself much time, and sadly just not say it! 27.11. She’s really starting to take off — looks like she’s about to flip into flower soon (at least from my noob POV). I can already see some pistils popping. I did stress her a bit though — didn’t water in time and she got a little droopy the next day. Gave her a good drink right after and she bounced back nicely. We’ll see how she goes.

Update for the week of 9/12 Unfortunately I wasn't able to upload these right after I took them, I pushed my migraine a bit too far when I took the photos and videos so I had to hide from the world. Blueberry is still just amazing... and beautiful... and huge.... and smells sweet and fruity😋 She responded well to the Down to Earth minerals top dressing I gave everyone last week, they all did, but I wanted them to have some sugar this week so I switched back to liquid nutes for this week. Otherwise I think everything is in the videos. Happy growing to all of you! I'm not going to try and make any promises about "Oh I should have more time to update" because that clearly has not been happening since I've been saying it the past couple weeks, so I guess stay tuned and thank you to all who have been checking in!

Empezamos su día 16 de floración con un buen puñado de nutrientes repartidos en dos tomas. Las plantas ya desprenden un ligero olor generalizado, hora de encender filtro y más potencia al extractor. Dentro de unos días dejarán de estirarse para centrarse en la producción de las colas, hasta entonces, haremos la última defoliación de bajos para dirigir la ventilación en ese punto, así, por mucha humedad que tengamos, jamás tendremos hongos. Feliz semana, buenos humos.

5/1 Plants are being rock stars. The event horizons and toasted toffy have been lollipopped abd it looks like lsted. I need to tie down the branches. The one sherb pie looks like it has a little bit of light burn but everything else is doing awesome. 5/2 Didn't write anything I forgot. 5/3 Plants are still doing great. The event horizon is coming out of reveg and isn't so twisty. It's time to start LSTing. I just haven't had time. I'm planning to put some work in today. Soil still seemed a little wet. I FIMed a GMO. I'll wait to see how that turns out before I do the rest. After today I'll have more time. Plants still aren't DIRECTLY under the light. I want to turn on both switches but I'm afraid they'll burn. 5/4 Still going strong. Watered today. Used approximately 3 Gatorade bottles. I tried to split one bottle between 3 plants. I want the roots searching for water. I want these 1 gallons to be full of roots before the transplant. I'm thinking I may do some lsting today as well as some topping or FIM. I'll update. Seedlings seem to come out of that stall. Didn't think they'd make it. 5/5 When I arrived I realized I had left the light OFF from the morning before when I was watering and inspecting things. Hooe this doesn't mess things up to bad. I've got one event horizon that's having trouble coming out of reveg. Everything else looks good. Those stunted auto seeds are coming up with their Second set of leaves. Definately took long enough. 5/6 I got close and inspected every plant. I really want to flip the bloom switch on too. I turned it on for a minute and it's bright as fuck. I think if I could find a way to raise the light higher (I'm working on a theory) I might be able to flip both switches. However I'm noticing what looks like light burn or light stress on some of them. It's not the too of the plant though. It's like the serated leaves are turning in on themselves. The 2 that I think reveged are turning their leaves inside out. Not sure if it's a reveg thing or has something to do with the light. I raised the light at noon. I'll see if this has a positive effect. The shades only partially block direct sunlight so I may need to make sure that's what's not causing this. The 4 gmo show no signs. I moved one almost directly under the light to see if it had an effect or if it's strain dependent. I'm definitely need to learn how to use l.e.d's better. Oh well. They'll go outside in less than a month. 5/7 I'm hoping leaving that light off didn't fuck with the clones that revegged. Raisingcthe light was a good idea. I can raise it higher and I'd like to hit the other switch. It's so much brighter and the gmos don't have any burns. They'll be going outside in a few weeks anyway. I was going to but a parmeter and I still might. The auto seeds are coming up pretty good. It's in the 60s today. I might bring the girls outside on the covered porch and see how they do.
