2022-09-17 The journey of the Hella Jelly is over. Plants were supereasy to grow. all Seeds germinated, seedlings started strong, and in later Vegetation they were spreading. here they spuld have got more Training from me. Because they turned out quite bushy The branches had to carry Biiiig green Buds , covered with frosting and were bending over in the End, so they needed some Support. I was alittle worried because the Pistils stayed white/ green. then i read the straindescription and looked at Pictures again and i knew everything is fine Iam harvesting with cloudy/ amber Trichomes. Plants leaves were also fading and changing to autumn Im courious what the Buds show , if they are cured, and ready to be tested.

MY WEED LOOKS LIKE WEED! It's sticky to the touch. My fingers smell like chocolate and mint and dankness after defol. The trichs are absolutely insane and the flowers are now legit buds. 😍 I know everyone that's done this before is like "... yeah that's how it works." but as this is my first time .. you know.. *fart noise* 👆 Jog on. Having a random fall heat wave this weekend but humidity is steady around 45% during lights and no more than 60% in closed tent with new outtake fan. Staying heavy on the defol to keep problem spots like leaf overlaps and light blockers at bay since the RH is still a few points above where I want it. I've also found that 16 Hour dark periods, in my personal observation with no other experience, seems to have a positive effect on the plants. A few times this week I've had plans at night and had to dark tent it early since I still don't have a timer. It's almost like my plants are fast forwarding through flower with crazy trich and full buds by start of Week 4. Little Danny on the left is way more of a classic structure with 9 long main colas along the outside and smaller sites through the middle. Big Arnold is a super stretched out net weaved nightmare of single bud sites with a 4-5 traditional colas but most of the flowers are very spread along the net, I definitely experimented more with LST on Arnold. I remember looking at them both when I got them and said "I bet little Danny will end up with a higher yield" and if those colas go Superfudge Judy Bloom on me, it just might. The starting to notice the smell in the room and are they ever sticky 😍 Thinking about Backbuilding/Bud Topping, does anyone have any experience with it? Seems like a tried and true method to get a better looking bud. I'd love to experiment and do some side-by-sides for future reference. Starting week 2 of flower on this lovely Forbidden Runtz Auto from FastBuds! Still going strong! Stretching out more and more daily and slowly starting to stack flower sites. She has some yellowing and yucky looking lower leaves but that seems common with my soil setup and nothing to worry about yet. Usually just a minor watering issue as each plant requires different amounts daily and it can be hard to get them exact. More updates soon! Day 54 she is looking and feeling a little over watered so we will dial her watering back over the next few days. She also has some minor insect damage but we have lots of spiders and other predators in the tent that should keep them at bay. We will defoliate any damaged leaves and will not spray anything on them. She needs cleaned up good anyways! We will also remove some lower bud sites in the process. Day 55 we removed some damaged leaves and some that where blocking lower bud sites. Didn't remove any lower unwanted bud sites yet but they will be next!

Still only giving them water at ph6.5

Week 18 (30-6 tm 5-7) 30-6 Temperatuur: 31.4 graden (licht aan) 22.5 graden (licht uit) Luchtvochtigheid: 69% (hoogste) 50% (laagste) Ik heb de trichomen bekeken en heb besloten haar nog een dagje langer laten staan. Watergift: Geen. 1-7 Vandaag heb ik de trichomen opnieuw bekeken en die zien er goed uit! Veel cloudy en best wel wat amber. Ik hou echt van deze trichome foto's, echt mind blowing hoe dat er uit ziet! Dus vandaag gaat de schaar er in! 2-7 Ik heb besloten om een wet trim te doen zodat als ze droog is ze gelijk in de cure pot kan. Geloof het of niet, maar ik ben wel 12 uur lang bezig geweest om alles te knippen 😅 Op 1-7 ben ik in de middag begonnen en in de vroege ochtend van 2-7 was ik klaar. Het natte gewicht van de buds is 283 gram, en het natte gewicht van de trim is 61 gram. Ik ben nu al super tevreden met het gewicht! Dit is meer dan het dubbele aan gewicht vergeleken met mijn eerste grow. De buds zien er ook echt mooi uit. Ik schat dat het tussen de 50 en 75 gram droog gaat zijn. Ik ben benieuwd, nu een paar dagen drogen! Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.4 graden (hoogste) 21.2 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 59% (hoogste) 42% (laagste) 3-7 Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.2 graden (hoogste) 21.5 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 50% (hoogste) 41% (laagste) 4-7 Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.1 graden (hoogste) 22.1 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 53% (hoogste) 46% (laagste) 5-7 Na 3 dagen is ze droog genoeg om te curen. Wel heb ik iets te lang gewacht want de LV in de jar geeft nu 57% aan. Ik hoop dat dit over een dag wat om hoog gaat. Nu een paar weken curen en dan kom ik met de rook verslag 😁 Ik zal binnenkort ook even berekenen wat de gram per watt is, aangezien ik de lamp niet de gehele grow op 100% had staan. Het droge gewicht van de buds is precies 75 gram, en het droge gewicht van de trim is 19 gram. Samen maakt dat 94 gram! So far everything is going great. Girls are are stretching nicely approx 2cm per 24h. It's looking that will cover entire scrog net with these 2 beauties. Simple plan for the week. Training on the net and maybe selective defoliation on week end. Week updates: 20-26 Nov. 20/11 day 43 Girls adapting well to net😁 21/11 day 44 First watering for this week. 2.5 ltr each pot. Runoff approx 200-300ml from each. Runoff Ph Xena 5.9 Athena 6.0. 23/11 day 46 It's seems that they stretched at least an inch overnight 😁 absolutely love my 🍌💜👊 girls. 25/11 day 48 Second watering for this week. Approx. 3L each 🤤 runoff 150-200ml. 26/11 day 49 Athena was stretching so much that decided for sort of heavier selective defoliation and cleared good bit under the net. Xena is at the same stage of flowering as sister but she is still much smaller, branches are shorter and tinner, will wait bit longer before go any heavier on her. Was able to nicely relocate longer branches of Athena all over the net. Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. The plant is doing good. It's getting full flowing nutrient every second watering with rain water for the other half. Froze some extra pollen from this year and I'll be pollenating a branch on this plant this week. I'll leave this plant where it is tonight and not put it in the tent, it's been forced to flower for 3 weeks now. According to the article, written for the Netherlands, if you force a plant to flower for 3 weeks after the summer solstice, you can leave it out and it won't go back to veg. It's been a month since the summer solstice so it won't go back into the tent and can stay out. I live on the 48th latitude. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

04/09 - Started minor defoliation. Shes getting too bushy and blocking bud sites and causing moisture spots. Will remove a couple of leaves every other day for the next week. 05/09 - Full res change. Realised I mucked up the ratio. Went 35ml Micro, 25ml grow, (Shouldve been the other way around, so added an extra 10ml grow), 15ml Bloom and 15ml Silica. EC 1.4, PH 5.7. Will keep an eye on her and add some additional grow if she does alright. 06/09 - Minor defoliation. Removed about 12 leaves total so far. LST to spread the canopy a little more. PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.4, Water level dropping. Seems to be stretching and pistils have begun to form! Responding well to the uptick in nutes from the res change. 07/09 - Leaf tucking, LST and took a leaf or two. Shes getting her stretch on for sure. PH stable at 5.8, EC stable at 1.4. Water level still dropping. 09/09 - After much deliberation, I ended up going for a fairly heavy defoliation session and am now going to leave her the hell alone until at least mid flower. I removed a large chunk of shaded leaves and bud sites and effectively ended up lollipopping her. I also removed all the old LST, and added a couple to pull leaves out of the way. The canopy remains largely unchanged, but shes much more airy now, and Im seeing far fewer damp spots where leaf perspiration has occured. Now to see if I can keep my hands off for a few weeks!

Week 6 is here. Finally starting to see a little fade. Full force on her flowers. They are already rock hard beautiful bastards. Stripped some dead weight and bigger fans over sights. At this point in the game I'm giving a low grow feed and high pk for 2 more weeks then flushing. Should be a 9 to 10 weeker. Trichomes are massive. Day 40 she is showing pink and purple hues. Man even the clone is showing pollen signs! She smells super strong with berries. Day 41 more colors and denser buds. Expected harvest day, day 63. Next feed which I fed plain water today, will be a heavy pk boost. She can take so much at this point, she can take a half tsp of flower fuel. So week 6 flower start a heavier feed for a week 10 to 11 ending. If not expect week 9. Noted. Shes going to be an amazing mom. Let's see what colors we get our of her dense ass buds.
