25cm vertical growth this week!!! She's nicely into flowering now!

I'm not going to put in daily updates for this week. It was a slow week but I will highlight the following - Watered every other day - Fed twice this week according to Fox Farm feeding schedule - Checked trichomes on day 62 because Sour Stomper is usually a quick grow. Seems we're a ways off still. **** I also put up a video for day 60. You can see how crazy looking the Sour Stomper is. The entire top of the plant is bud with tiny leaves. It's turned into a mutant bush. The good news is that the buds are starting to thicken up on the bottom. ****

Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Grapefruit is developing a lot of new internode fan leaves, but she's too late into bloom now to defoliate etc. and don't want to stress the GG XL either. Latest GG XL photos are in Week 5. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.

Day 116,Week 8 of flower 👍🏾

This is definitely an express strain. These girls are growing rapidly and seem very good for new growers based on their resilience. They are Very forgiving plants but hard to grow with other strains due to differing growth rates. I topped these once and have been doing some lst to try to let the kabul express catch up but it seems my efforts are of no use. 🤷‍♂️🏽🌿

Germination: wet cotton pads in a zipper plastic bag. That's my third grow, got a much bigger 5x5 tent and a new LSD light. Reminder to myself: NEVER EVER try to grow seedlings in PEAT POTS! If they are covered by humidity domes - they are constantly moist and could get mold. If not covered - they suck all the moisture from the soil! Plus, peat is highly acidic: (pH 3.5-4.5) 26/10/22 A couple of seedlings almost died in 25C/60% conditions after not watering for 24 hours. Withered severly! Repotted immediately.

The smell when wet trimming the fans off is of sweet berrys, a little bit citrus and musky dank smell is the only way I can describe it. The drying is coming to an end, at the end of day 13 I broke a bud off that weighed a gram and had a smoke test, the flavours are there and it smooth smoke surprisingly but I think a cure will really bring the terps out.

Nothing new to report she's building her flowers , nice and steady do far seems u just need to take things slowly with autos compared to photoperiod. Being the first try at this its been a good learning experience with hopefully some nice buds at the end of the grow as we all hope .. Real curious to see how they fill out in the next coming weeks/days ..

They got huge. Nice green leaves and smell great. I bend the fan leaves a little to get more light in the canopy. They love the nutes. We having a great time! Transplanted 3 to 3 gallons pots. They love the air. Topped(fim’d) one. She getting lanky but I feel she’ll snap back strong.

He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Jet Fuel stat very very good, we have to say no problem, seed oper 24 h in water then 24 h in soil and sprout. Super love this strain, the genetic line is amazing. Here we have Diesel Family so mostly sativa and Gas taste more sativa. WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea, remove slowly and delicately please. WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots, choose the largest possible ones and not paper/cardboard ones, there is peat which is the main component of most of the soils we use. If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to the neighbors I recommend you install one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations of the equipment or of any kind. Week 2 starting with gsc putting out begging of pistils with others shortly behind I'm sure as it is day 10 since 12/12. on day 11 flower pistis are visable on blueberry and girlscout cookies. On day 13 OG Kush has pre flowers just waiting on blueberry muffin which were planted more recently than the others.

Duckies are blowing up again. They look a bit rough, that's alright to be expected from 3 weeks with no water change or nutes. First full week of nutes, with add back calmag, getting the ladies to flex.

It's been a beautiful strain to work with, the flowrs are definitely worth it after all this time, the quality is definitely high. However this pheno of ak420 smells very different from the other 2 phenos I've grown along with her. The flowrs are beautiful, very solid and frosty nuggets, I smoked a few little nuggets when trimming but I'm excited to taste the big buds, hope you guys enjoyed the process. I want to say that this pheno #1 has a different smell compared to the other 2 phenotypes of ak420 that you can see here on my page as well, so stay tuned guys! Overall result is very nice, good quality, strong weed, sticky, stinky. Sorry it's been three weeks since my last update between work and looking after my son it a bit hectic but quick update I'm in to my second week of flower I'm in day 10 of flower
