Welcome to the Week 10 update for the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s. Not much to report as this grow is on cruise control until harvest. I will be finishing up with the bloom fertilizer and starting to flush as these lovely ladies finish out Week 10 and move into Week 11. Defoliating as necessary and consistently checking trichomes as I’ve already spotted the first few ambers in and among the already cloudy trichs! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my grow! 😎

The buds on WW#1 are packing on weight, the heartiness of these plants amazes me, I feel it must be the great genetics from Dinafem and RQS because it’s certainly not my skills as a grower. I think I’m nute burning the buds a tiny tiny bit, I’m currently doing a 3:2:1 ratio of the florabloom series 2-3 times a day till run off. Going to slightly lower the amount of nutes and see where that leads me. The smell coming off the two strains is incrediblely distinct and delicious smelling, I find myself standing in front of the plants wafting the air towards me. My carbon filter seems to not be working very well, although I’m not really complaining as stealth isn’t an issue for me, I’d wear this as a cologne... lmao End of week comment: things are well. No major major issues. WW1 nugs are massive and sticky, extremely dense. Lower buds are super lose, probably due to the looming beer bottle nugs above them blocking light. No idea when to harvest though- if anyone has any advice I’d appreciate it. I literally cannot tell the difference between trichomes with my 40x loupe. They all seem clear to me. Maybe some cloudy ones.

Didn’t expect the stretch to be so huge given the genetics. Like 10 cm in 3 days! Let’s see. Put in a dehumidifier, trying to reach optimal humidity of 60% for this stage. 02/01 The stretch is really strong. 75 cm by 02/01 04/01 I have been doing just minimal pruning/defoliation during the veg stage. I guess it was the reason why the stretch is so strong as the main colas try to reach the light. And there is a lot of weak side-shoots which make the plants really messy. Did some minor pruning today, because I don’t want to stress the plants much during early flowering. I’m going to remove all the side-shoots in two weeks when the stretch is over. Next time I should do more pruning early, before the flip.

For my first grow in diaries, This was my first cultivation and thanks to this community I learned a lot and I have certainly had good results thanks to you too.

07/07/2020 She drank 2 liters of OVERDRIVE this week, so one more week watering with OVERDRIVE and MICRO to supplement growing seeds, they getting fat. 07/10/20/20 New pistils popping out on sides of buds none on top so filling out. I guess she responding to (OVERDRIVE) Her last stage of flowering has begun should be done in 2 weeks 🙏 so one more week watering with OVERDRIVE and MICRO then water only for the flush week. And Harvest???

11 Noviembre: Primer riego con 2.5EC y 5.9pH, runoff de 2.9EC y 6.2pH, en una semana más ya deberían estar recibiendo 3.0EC y seguir con esa concentración por todo el cultivo. Alturas están entre 15cm y 20cm. 13 Noviembre: Riego 2.5EC y 5.9pH, runoff de 3.3EC y 6.2pH. Hoy se removieron los primeros nodos de cada planta y se les hizo poda apical. 14 Noviembre: Riego 2.5EC y 5.9pH, runoff de 3.3EC y 6.2pH en la mañana. En la tarde se realizó transplante a maceteros definitivos de 5 litros con 4 litros de sustrato aprox. el cual fue pre cargado hasta la capacidad de campo, con 3.0EC y 5.8pH, desde este punto se debe esperar un par de días hasta que el dryback(secado) del sustrato sea de un 35-40%, lo cual vendría siendo el primer P3 del cultivo, una vez se alcance ese porcentaje de secado, se comenzará con los primeros riegos de precisión llamados P1.

This is the first week and I am already so so so excited to grow this strain from such reputable breeder! At first I wasn't going to write a journal but since this is going to be a Mainline + Scrog style of grow I believe its worth to keep an online journal for others to use as reference hopefully. Week 1: Germination was nice and quick, 15h on water cup, less than 24h on paper towel and the tap root was already shooting out far, after 2 days I planted on soil (Promix HP) and use tap water on a spray bottle to maintain soil damp and humidity high. The morning after going on soil seedling sprouted and started to grow nicely. Seedling was under a Sunblaster 45w CFL lamp. Stay Lit folks! Follow my Instagram for daily stories @GirlGoneWeed

Day 44 - The pot this morning was light as a feather so gave her a gallon of water and nutes today. Overall, she still stretching quite a bit each day. Other than that, just tucked some leaves again and letting her go. Day 45 - All is looking good and still no real issues going on. I did remove a few lower fan leaves that were dead but other than that, just put her back in the tent and tucked the leaves again. No need for water yet, will be another couple of days. Day 46 - All still looking good with her. She’s still stretching about 1/2” everyday so should be decent sized by the time stretching stops. She’ll need some water tomorrow or Sunday. Day 47 - Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today and I’m gonna see how long it takes for her to drink it up. I might have to up the intake to a gallon and a half depending. Other than that, I removed a couple big fan leaves in the way and placed her back in the tent for the evening. Day 48 - Seems like she budded up quite a bit after the watering and feeding yesterday. Maybe the stretching has slowed down a bit cause she only stretched a little less than half an inch. Hopefully now she’ll really start packing on and frosting up. I did remove quite a few fan leaves as well today. Day 49 - Ending week 7 and she’s coming along beautifully. Checked my intake and outtake exhausts and were pretty dusty so took all the plants out of the tent and did a complete cleaning of everything. Removed the humidifier to give a little more room in the tent and temps are rising a bit but sitting at 82. I’ll leave it alone for now but if it gets too much warmer, I’ll have to figure something out but humidity is right around 36 and buds are starting to boom now.

As you'll read below one of these was tossed, the better looking one in fact so only 1 remains right now. Hopefully this one doesnt turn too. Aight so the other day I found another hermie in the very early stages. So I emptied the tent and sat in there in the pitch black for 15 minutes to let my eyes adjust looking for anywhere light could get in. Because I have 2 veg tents in the same room on 19 hr schedules it's impossible for me to have the room the tent is in be pitch black. There was no leaks in the fabric but the air vents at the bottom, even tho I only have 3 open a little bit, let in the slightest amount of light. I had to toss out a mandarin cookies R1V2, a bwiz x Rocberry and a gushers. I found a male flower on a Hawaiian snow x wc x g33 on a lower but instead of tossing it I removed all the lowers and am going to check daily to see if its aight or not. I ordered a ac infinity 4 inch fan, some light proof ducting and a intake carbon filter to be able to set up a intake and close the vents. Very little pollen may have dropped which could seed everything but I might have found it just in time we will see. I almost retired on the spot but I'll give the intake fan a shot as a last ditch effort. Otherwise I would have to remove the veg tents or have intake fans and no open vents for all tents. 7.5.25: I retied down the branches on RQS Northern Lights auto. I had to clean the tent, so the opportunity had to be taken, I hope not to have to move them again. I ended up snapping a small branch off another plant 😖 She is looking so big out of the tent, and even bigger than I thought! Now, having readjustmed, the fabric ties, and she is looking even larger still. This really is an absolute giant of a plant! 😱 I really am struggling to get them all in, I think the 8 gallon pots were a definite factor in that. They certainly are great for getting big plants, but be prepared if you have a small space. She's still stretching and not really focusing on her bud development in these mid flowering weeks. I think we will be in for a long haul with this lady. I hope she doesn't get too much bigger. I watered some bloom nutes after I top dressed, with Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. I watered 3.2 litres PPM:745 PH:6.0. This time, I'm going to keep the top dressing moist. So as not to kill all the beneficial microbes. Other than that, I will wait until the pots are light again. Overall, she is doing great, I wish she had stretched a little more evenly to catch up in height. I just can't even out the canopy anymore. I'll leave it and hope she'll sort herself out 😅 I'm very excited to see what happens next! This is going to be crazy whatever happens! 😍😋 8.4.25: Northern lights had dried out significantly, so I watered with 2 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. Containing per litre: ♡ 1/4 tsp of Greenleaf nutrients Sea K(elp). PPM: 800 PH: 6.4 I don't want the top dress to dry out too much, and the plants are starting to drink much more. 9.5.25: It's a necessity to keep the soil moist. That means I need to water more often now. Today I watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 1/5 tsp of Sea K(elp). By Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 1/4 tsp Ecothrive Biosys. PPM: 564 PH: 6.4 12.5.25: Northern Lights has been srayed with the foliar spray and all symptoms have resolved. Due to having a few leaves burnt with that, I've decided to use the Ecothrive Trace in the water instead. It left some orange spots of damaged leaves. Las plantas llevan 41 dias en floracion y este es su aspecto, estoy regando 2 litros por planta cada 3 dias, E.C 1940 partiendo de base 400 !! P.H 6,4 , estan muy sanas y desprenden mucha olor y resina, son las super boof un escandalo
