Welcome to week 18 of my grow diary. As expected, growth has stopped. In the middle of the week I removed underdeveloped shoots that were covered by leaves. I also removed the lower fan leaves to ensure better aeration and additional leaves that were on the inside. The buds are slowly becoming denser and denser. See you next week ✌️

Well week 5 of bloom is complete, and this week brought a few challenges. Humidity in my area has been through the roof, close to 100%. My heavy-duty equipment was struggling to bring my tent to acceptable late flowering levels, sometimes reaching over 60% RH, especially at night when the plant was respirating more. Additionally, her pale yellow color, and leathery leaves didn't excite me too much. If you remember, we had a severe heat wave a couple of weeks ago, which contributed to that. But also, since I messed up the ScrOG training, and regrettably decided not to super-crop her, a fair share of the leaf problems were due to light stress as well, as I didn't want to sacrifice lower colas, so I let it go. My biggest mistake this grow, was not paying attention to her the one day she decided to stretch nearly a foot, and was unable to be weaved into the net the next day without being snapped in half. My second biggest mistake is NOT snapping it in half, and letting it repair itself. I wouldn't have had nearly as much bleaching of leaves I think. This week, and I'm assuming because nearly all chlorophyll was depleted from her fan leaves, I didn't notice much of any change from last week. Her buds seemed to be about the same mass, and the stigmas still had the same ratio of red to white coloration. I suspected she was dead, or dying, or just...done. Not all genetics will transform all of their stigmas from white, and not all genetics will have their trichomes turn amber. So, I did a few things to confirm that suspicion. First, I looked at her trichomes on various buds closely with a microscope. They were almost all cloudy, with very very few amber. That told me that she was at an acceptable level of ripeness, even if she could have went longer, assuming she was still alive. Next, I removed the pea gravel mulch I was using in the raised bed, so I could get a closer look at the soil she was growing in, and more specifically, her roots. The soil, although moist a few inches deep, was not at the level I expected, and I think I have not been watering her enough. I don't think I'll be using a gravel mulch again. On the plus side, it did help prevent fungus gnats, as there was zero the whole grow, apart from an early week when I placed some solo cups to germinate on top of the bed, but after removing them, the fungus gnats disappeared with them. Also while inspecting the soil, I carefully dug down to inspect some of her primary roots. They were actually dry, despite the surrounding soil being moist. This could explain why she wasn't drinking much if any for the better part of the week. So, given her dry foliage, dry roots, and ripe-enough trichomes, I decided it was time to harvest her, earlier than expected. Let's also not forget that I was frightened this week with some high humidity scares, so growing longer, and possibly for no reason if she was dead or barely alive, was not in the cards. I've dealt with my fair share of bud rot before, and I would rather try what I have of her now, than to wait the extra week or so for her to be fully ripe. So, that is what I did, on the last day of the week -- I chopped her down, cut off some larger fan leaves, and hung her upside down. This, of course, was after removing the raised bed. It took me a while to empty about 45 gallons of soil so I could move it, but in doing so, I noticed a lot of beneficial critters, and nothing bad. Such critters included small centipedes, which feed on other insects, and soil mites which eat dead organic matter. I set the tent to dry at around 72F and 55 RH. And now we wait for about a week before trimming. One thing is for sure -- I am very proud of this grow, despite all these flaws. She smells incredible -- like pure citrus emanating throughout my house. This is a very strong-smelling plant. These XtraKush are also finally starting to grow. It took them a while but they doubled in a week. Still a little bit pale compared to the other two strains. With a new top layer of first worm castings and then neutral organic cocopeat to combat the gnat problem and we seem to have fixed most problems. Temps are going down at night, I'm trying to fix this by keeping it warmer in the attic where the grow is. In the coming week, I'm going to train/manifold them, they are getting a bit big. Week 3: VEGETATION It was a completely disastrous week. The growth is just pitiful.? At first, I thought it was just because of the admittedly lousy weather.❄️ We had everything from heavy rain to snow. But apparently, that wasn’t the main problem. It was actually the seedling pot that I had placed completely inside the final pot, still in its sleeve. So on the third day of this week, I took the little plant out and discovered that the roots couldn’t break through the sleeve and the soil inside was hard as a rock.? I removed the sleeve and tried to gently loosen the coconut fibers, then carefully placed the little lemonade back into the soil. It definitely won’t be a giant anymore, but I hope it recovers. It deserves a chance. Even if it doesn’t become a Supergrow... I own up to my mistakes.😄😅 But I have to admit, a second Purple Lemonade is currently sprouting so I’ll have a replacement in case this one doesn’t make it.?

Hi growers, I'm reporting the end of the fourth week. The girls make me happy. They've grown quite a bit in volume and are healthy. I don't see any reason to touch them. At the end of the week they started switching to flowering, let's see how they handle it. We all know how women handle these "transitions" :) The humidifier went out of the tent and we're moving on happily :) - Čau groweři, hlásím konec čtvrtého týdne. Děvčata mi dělají radost. Pěkně narostly na objemu a jsou zdravé. Nevidím důvod do nich sahat. Na konci týdne se začaly přepínat do květu, uvidíme jak to zvládnou. Only water for the past week being added to reservoir after nutrients..... Huge intakes... Very big plant.. Very big Buds... I have no idea what the weight will be... But it will big lol... Fucking awesome... All grown with Cheap leds lol well relatively cheap about 400 CAD all said and done on all the lights.. Full 1000 ppfd coverage on this plant with some extra ... There is a method to the madness. Foxtails are genetic related.. As they are present on all parts of the plant. The very tips of all big colas have been circumcised and my buds are all Kosher Now lol. No it helps make for fatter colas and stops some of the long and spindly look from happening.. I'd love to explain to everyone in great detail why the tip clipping is a cool idea especially with a foxtaily strain but if you can't figure it out.... not worth explaining.. All I know is one plant 4-5 week veg and it'll be a tree. Getting bigger and bigger

Day 150, 8th of October... She is getting old LOL..... the weather was the worst this week so far a lot of rain like 3 days non stop. The temperature is lowering as well. Sunshine??? What is that just bits... so basically she is just maturing there.... The smell is crazy strong nice sweet and citrus style... there is no sun but compare to that she will have some nice buds for me 🤪

So we started feeding them. just some organic growth by BAC and some Calmag. Mostly around the sides of the pots to encourage the roots and start the Microlife overall. We have used nice lukewarm water and added some sugar sirop to activate all the wee beasties. The growth last week was phenomenal although one is going faster than the other. For this reason I changed them around, should climate on that spot have anything to do with that. Now we are looking at other XL runts diaries, to learn from the best performers and copycat their methods to maximize yields with this setup. We will decide if we will just LST them or give them a top... Have to be quick tho, these ladies will flower soon... This was the boss lady’s first grow. This was under a spiderfarmer sf1000 which did a amazing job. I’m really surprised with the light in a 2x2. It did wonderfully. Now to the bubblegum. Once again fastbuds delivers for us with a plant that does exactly as they said it would. She didn’t top the plant or do any HST just from a time standpoint for the originals contest. This one could have actually went a little longer, however we have cloudy and amber trichomes already, and we flushed the last week. So with the contest ending today, might as well let her come down. This was a great plant for a beginner like they said it was. Even without me standing on her shoulder, she could have grown this one. The density of these buds is down right surprising. Super dense and super sticky. She smells exactly like big league bubblegum chew. We can’t wait until this dries and cures. I’m sure it will be amazing. I’ll update this diaries as soon as it’s dry with the final weight. Thanks for looking!

Day 72: + 2L Flaschenwasser ++ Dünger mit wenig CalMag + final PH 6.35 Etwas sehr interressantes ist mir aufgefallen , deswegen hab ich auch ein Video davon gemacht. Eine SideCola hat sich oben wie topping verhalten und 2 TopBuds entwickelt . Sieht echt nice aus . Ausserdem hat sie überall da wo ich etwas abgeschnitten habe einfach neue Triebe mit neuer Blüte gebildet. Diese Dame hat irgendwie nur ein Sinn , Blüten bilden wo es geht :)) Ich lass es einfach wachsen , dagegen arbeiten wäre eh zuviel stress.
