Hi meine lieben, 🤗 Die 2. Woche der Wachstums-Phase steht an... ...und die realität schlägt zu. Hatte versucht diesen Run mit einem höheren VPD-Wert und dadurch ohne zusätzliches CalMag hinzufügen zumüssen, laufen zulassen. Da laut einer Studie, man durch einen erhöhten VPD, kein zusätzliches CalMag unter LED's hinzugefügt werden müsste. Allerdings gieße ich noch mit Leitungswasser. Also hatte ich mir mal die werte meiner Stadtwerke angeschaut. Und in meinem Wasser habe ich Calcium = 78 mg/l und Magnesium = 5,3 mg/l und somit ein verhältnis von 14:1😰. Was von einer Optimalen versorgung von 2:1 - 4:1 CalMag etwas entfernt ist... 😅 Beste Lösung wäre ein Filtersystem wie der Watertrim zu nutzen. Welcome to week 3 of flower for these fine ladies! As the stretching period comes to and end in about a week or so I'm excited to see the plant's develop their flowers. Some of the plants have already developed quited the frost for their age and as the cycle continues its just going to get more pronounced. Some of the plants are giving off a faint smell now mostly the Banana Smoothie smelling of cream and bananas so far. Overall I'm really pleased with what's going on so far and can't wait for further development of the flowers! Things are moving along as the plants keep stretching like crazy Day#17F Ladies are producing more and more size on their cotton balls while stretching up and stacking hard. Day#18F Ladies are producing quite the frost levels for their age. Watered 4L each at 550PPM. Day#19F Pictures N/A. Plants continue to stretch and stack. Day#20F Ladies look like their slowing down on their stretch hopefully haha. Watered ladies 4L each at 550PPM. Day#21F The plants are still stretching abit while putting mass on their flowers slowly. Wont be long till we see some giant flowers covered in trichomes! Recap: Things went very well this week, some of the plants are starting to put out a smell and everyone's pumping trichomes like crazy! With about a week or so left on the stretching period I will be looking to place my secondary nets very very soon. I'm looking forward to seeing what the plants smell like and how they continue to develop their flowers!

Both are still growing healthy beautiful buds but like the rest of the tent, they were a little burned this week. I dimmed down the light. That helped with the temperature as well.

After last weeks defoliation I am stoked to see the progress in their growth, opened them up nicely and exposed all the remaining bud sites to some good light 😁... I have around 4-5 weeks left from here, super keen to see what these ladies can do 😁

week three flower everything looks fine so far :D eight days after defoliation I water them with 1.5l every 48h the light I use was set to 80% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops gelato 1 threw some balls, but I removed them as soon as I saw them, I'll keep watching it!

D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. The tent was packed when I opened it! The girls had stretched more, and a couple of leaves were even touching the lights and had gotten burnt. They are now 125 cm tall. That's five times the height they were when I flipped to flower. Five times!!! I have never had a strain stretch this much, and I hope they are done now since there's no more room in the tent. I removed the fan and carbon filer and placed them outside the tent. It looks a bit stupid and is far from stealthy, but what to do? I moved up the lights as far as possible, but I will probably switch the lights with the one I have in my autotent. That light has a much lower profile, so raising it even further is possible. Should that not be enough, I will have to cut off some tops, but I hope it doesn't come to that. The first girl already has dark purple flowers, while the second looks more green with some purple. ------------------------------ D61. I opened the tent today, only to find that the second girl had stretched another 2 cm overnight! This is getting ridiculous, and I hope they stop soon. I super-cropped the tallest top, hoping it would slow down the stretch. A few hours later, she had already recovered. These genetics are nuts! In other news, my girlfriend found spider mites on her papaya plants that are in the same room as my tents. We immediately removed the plants from the room, and I started to scout my plants for an infestation. The good news is that I didn't find any spider mites. However, the bad news is that I found thrips on the lower leaves of the second girl. Ugh! I had thrips last grow season, and I guess some survived. The thrips were only on the lower part of the plant, so I defoliated the girls by removing a bunch of leaves and tiny branches down low and immediately threw them out of the apartment. Thrips don't like it humid, and since the buds are still tiny, I don't need to worry about botrytis yet, so I cranked up the humidity into the high 70s to low 80s. Finally, I ordered a bunch of lacewing larvae that will get here next week. They should eat the thrips and any spider mites that I might not have been able to find. ------------------------------ D63. The girls have slowed their stretch, BUT they are still stretching somewhat. I freaked out when I opened the tent today and saw they were taller, so I attacked them immediately and super-cropped the highest tops. I will switch out the lights next week, gaining me another few centimeters, which I hope will be enough. The VPD in the tent is way off, but I'm more interested in figuring out the light and getting rid of the thrips. Finally, I watered each girl with 2.5 liters of water L pH 6.1, with 10 ml humic acid and 5 ml Fermented Fruit Juice I made a few months ago. ------------------------------

Day 71. Girls are still stretching !!! Will supercrop biggest Blue Dream this Monday or maybe Sunday if i am lucky. I think next watering is on Saturday and it takes 2 days , so i can do it only before watering, less damage to plant and hopefully quicker recovery !!! But they reach sky, so no other way ! This week will be updated after main actions. Amazing run ! Day 72. Supercrop and watering day, before this - plants look amazing, but they reach sky and will go hermie in shade most of the time. Will update AFTER ... ;)) Job done ! Moved monster to the corner and supercroped her hard, left two colas untouched. Think Blue Dream #2 could need same drastic measures ;))) All girls got feed, raised lights to max. Hope stretch is over, otherwise half of harvest larva buds and i already cleared plants heavily ... One more round of defoliation for sure ! Day 75. Blue Dream took supercroping like nothing, still reduced watering on 25% for two goes, tops already standing up, leaves reverted to new horizont and hopefully no bananas !!! ;)) Girls got water with CalMag and video is straight after last round, i water in 3 rounds, 30 min inbetween, have no run off most of the time. All girlz are about to finish up on time and are doing well. I hoping that they all don't finish at once because I only have a 2x2 drying tent. I gave them their last feed this week. They are still drinking up water every three days. I increased the PPFD, but I read that it's not going to increase the size of the buds or harvest time. Just wanna make sure the buds at the bottom get more exposure to light.
