What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! Let's see how this strain does during the summer months! Cheers everyone! This has been an awesome grow. What I'm lacking in yield, I yet again make up for in quality. And I don't think yield will be an issue with the clones, they're week 6 veg - and quite massive! - RWI out!! 😁 😶‍🌫️🤑

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

Day 15 Both plants didn't show any stress after transplant. Started with a light feed to introduce nutrient schedule.. Day 21 they look super healthy.

These keep on stacking calyxes on top of calyxes! A couple more weeks tops I reckon.

We back with some buckets! Time to fire up the pumps and get this show on the road. If you haven't seen sugar cane then you need to crawl out from under the rock you're hiding in. Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. Not much exciting going on yet, but with a little luck that may change pretty soon.

Day 36: "Hey everyone! Just a quick update: I removed a few more leaves here and there and did one last round of LST (low stress training). 🌿 The plants are looking great, and I'm going to let them recover now before sending them into the flowering stage. I'm really excited to see them start blooming in 2-3 weeks! Also, a quick update on our temperature issue: today, the temperature stayed below 26.8°C, which is great news! However, we still need to find a solution to keep the humidity levels up. Our 360 m³/h exhaust system isn't able to maintain the required humidity level. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better. Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Day 37: Hey everyone! Tomorrow, we're planning to buy some Cal-Mag because we suspect the yellowing leaves might be due to a calcium-magnesium deficiency. We're also going to get a pH test kit to make sure everything is balanced properly. Do you think this is a good idea? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Day 38: Hey everyone! Quick update: it turns out the yellowing leaves were due to a nitrogen deficiency. Hey Guys! The last 2-3 weeks have been somewhat difficult. The “Load shedding” cut-offs has increased to stage +5 level which means 5 hours without electricity each day! 😒 🤢 Suck’s right? Well, that ain’t where my headache ends. To make matters even worse, due to all the on/off intervals our suburbs Sub-Station Transformer blew out - causing an overload & tripping the emergency leakage right after it gets switched back on. Then it’s a waiting game as City Officials needs to manually override the system, sometimes waiting up to 6 hours for them to respond to the call-out. Trying to keep things in check as best I can has taken its toll. Thus I’ve made the decision to harvest a little earlier than planned. I’ve noticed the flush taking affect underneath the leaves which is good enough for me at this point! (Besides, my smoke jar has been empty for almost 2 weeks now) - Thus why I’ve decided to harvest a little early than normal. I had started with the flush on 2 July after 8,5 weeks into reproductive stage. Initially planned to flush them down for 2-3 weeks until the flower period had reached 12-13th weeks total. ∴ 10 day flush done! 1/11/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I have a root almost in the water.. Yay!! Top feeding is almost done. she is looking a little sad as I work the transition Top feeding but once the roots are fully in the water she will start to take off. Ensured my PPFD is set between 250-300 it is set to: 258 1/12/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I have a root in the water.... NO TOP FEED TODAY SIR!!! now that a root is touching the water and she looks stable, I am not going to topfeed, I will see how she looks tomorrow and as long as everything looks good I am going to go ahead and do a change and week 1 fill on Nutes.. I know it is a couple of days in but the same Nutes go through Week 2 and get changed at Week 3 So I should be good to go.. I will just ensure I fill to root touching the water when I change tomorrow. 1/13/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- Water Change Day!! I added 36 Gallons of Water to the system: Silica= .5mil/gal= 18mil CalMag= .75mil/gal = 27mil FloraMicro=3.0mil/gal = 108mil FloraGro=2.0mil/gal = 72mil FloraBloom= 2.0mil/gal = 72mil PH DOWN= 30mil Very important thing with this system is to now wait the 24 hours for the system to adjust.. Do not make any further adjustments to your PH up or Down for 24 hours to allow time for the system to balance. 1/14/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I just adjusted the PH to ensure that it was right at 6.0 1/15/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 5- Today I Cleaned up the lower damaged leaves from the transition from top feeding to roots in the water. She looks good today. 1/16/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 6- Today I just took a picture of the beautiful lady for Log. Other than that just normal day to day operations, check the pH, check the Humidifiers and fill as necessary, check level of water in the Res. Everything looks great. onto Tomorrow!! 1/17/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 7- Today I filled the humidifers, checked the PH and just let her grow.. Grow baby Grow.....
