Shortly after they were switched to flowering (after week 3) the plants continue to stretch and then start to develop their first flowers. Now in week 7 all plants have very nice flower clusters all over the plant and side branches. They have grown to 45 cm (=Shiva Skunk on left side) and 40 cm (Serious Kush on right side of aisle) in height respectively and all plants have a nice dark green color, which shows they are healthy and also that the Advanced Nutrients schedule works like a treat. The Q6W-Gen.2 LED-Lamps are now dimmed to 100% (=three green LEDs on the dimmer) and work on FULL POWER, which ensures full fledged flower production. Both varieties have now started to exude their typical aroma. The Shiva Skunk starts to smell musky and sweet, while the Serious Kush smells 'gassy' and 'fuely' like its OG-Kush heritage. The flower clusters on the Serious Kush appear to grow denser than the clusters on the Shiva Skunk.

(Log date week 7, day 49) So this week was a mixed bag, Tuesday started off with me finding a spider web on one of the lower fan leaves on my Hulkberry plant and noticed some bite marks on some of Fat Banana. In my haste to give rid of the spider mites, i caused some minor wind damage to some of the fan leaves on Hulkberry which caused some copper spotting and a stunted Fat banana cola. After i correctly treated both plants for spider mites and wind damage, they both bounced back and started to recover quite nicely. I also noticed a difference between topping these plants at different times; i topped fat banana when it had 4 cola's but i waited until hulkberry's roots reached to the bottom of my 5gal bucket and she had 8 cola's. A BIG difference in their recovery and overall structure, where fat banana jump out the gate with explosive veg growth and hulkberry struggled for two weeks just to develop it's first set of fan leaves. To now whereas hulkberry is much bigger, greener and bushier than fat banana. Hulkberry has responded much better to the additional stress whereas fat banana has struggled or stalled due to the stressful conditions. All in all wasn't too bad of a week, except for the power going out for a couple of hours on Saturday which raised my grow-room temperature to 90f, i was able to put out a couple of fires this week without any adverse long term effects. I also topped hulkberry on the last day of the week and I'm going to continue to feed them Technfloa at the full recommended strength since they have both responded very well to last week's formula. as always my pic are in chronological order Mr. O.G.T

🌿 Week 10: The Final Countdown & The Autumn Fade 🍂 The Vibe: We’ve officially entered double digits! The tent is a jungle of smells, and the air is thick with a mix of sweet pineapple, heavy cream, and that funky cheese undertone. Most of the white pistils have now tucked in or turned orange/brown, and the plants are starting to pull mobile nutrients from the larger fan leaves the "autumn fade" is officially here! The Ladies: Pineapple Express F1: Still the undisputed Queen 👑. Her main colas are rock hard and coated in a sticky layer of resin. She’s starting to show some beautiful purple/yellow hues in her fan leaves as she nears the finish line. White Runtz: The "Chonk" of the tent! 🍩 Even though she the tallest girl is the tent, her bud density is incredible. The frost on the Runtz is next level it looks like she’s been dipped in sugar.(And she is now drying) Blue Cheese F1: My little rebel. 🧀 She stayed compact and "boujee" with her 3-fingered leaves until the end, but don't let her size fool you the smell coming off her is the most pungent in the tent. She’s finally stopped that weird side-branch stretching and is putting all her energy into ripening those dense little nuggets. Care & Nutrients: Feeding: This is the last week of full nutrients. I’m still using the Bio-Bloom and Top-Max combo, but I’ve started tapering down the Fish-Mix and TNT Complex to let the plants use up their stored nitrogen. Watering: They are thirsty! I’m still giving about 1L per plant every other day, ensuring the pH stays steady at 5.5-6.0 to avoid any late-stage lockouts. Environment: Keeping the humidity lower (around 45-50%) now to prevent any bud rot issues since the flowers are so dense. Temperatures are steady at 27°C lights on. Next Steps: It’s all about the jeweler's loupe now. I’m checking trichomes daily. We are looking for that perfect 10-20% amber ratio before we start the final flush. It won’t be long now! These girls are nearly 50cm and the one girl is around 35cm, I'm going too continue veg for 1-2 weeks longer and scrog in the meantime too gold back the 2 taller girl. These girls are plodding into week 7 now so they are ready too flip but will see how my grow question goes before switching too 12/12 👌 They are happy and healthy and doing well under the shogun nutrients! I have defoliate the odd top fan leaf too allow better air circulation. We have very high heat atm but hopefully they uptake more 😉😅 Happy growing 🌱💚

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. I guess due to the colder weather, she really starts to express her color and it's so amazing! I can't believe how beautiful this outdoor automatic is and how fast the colors are changing. As you can see from the photo, the buds are getting a bit heavy, so I tied them back in place. You might also see that one of the side branches, which broke during the storm, starts to let their leaves hanging. I moistened the point where the stem broke and see how she will do tomorrow. If it get's more dry, than I'm hanging it in the bathroom (which doesn't get used atm if you're wondering) Anyways I'll trim off the leaves with no trichomes on it and give her the very last week before harvesting on Monday.

Rather big and greedy plant, doesn't demand a lot of attention. Has shown good reaction to scrog and lst. I've already grown it once, and I'm sure I'll do it again. It was a busy week full of events. I got them a 600 watts HPS light and microbes to help them grow faster. I finally started the trellis netting to even the canopy and get more from the lights and I also spray the plants again for bugs. I found out that I've been using powder nutrients on my reservoir and that's probably why I've been getting floods two or tree times a week and now the valve is open only when I'm there, because I'm sick of cleaning and I took that little sick plant out. My cats have her now.
