What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!

Welcome to Day 8 things are going very well so far the plants are taking on a lot of height and mass for only one week's growth. Not a whole lot to talk about really early stages of growth really not much happens. I will say that I've transitioned to a completely Advanced Nutrients feeding system for this week Day 9 transplanted the girls into their final five gallon pots root development is extremely well for literally just over one week into veg Day 10 the girls have clearly recovered very well from transplant there are growing strong and healthy Welcome to day 14 last day of the week I decided to micro top as the ladies were ready. We were at the 4th node that's typically when I make her top at this point I'm not sure how many toppings I'm going to do but I don't want the plans becoming too large for the tent by doing too many tops

Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥🥥 1 volume emoji because there really was no method to this grow. Plant seed, let grow, cut down, enjoy regularly😉. Any time you have the luxury of rooting this plant in the earth (where it belongs) is a huge bonus. She didn’t need much of anything and took all she required (for the most part anyway) from the garden👍. OG’s in the emerald triangle pride themselves on the makeup of their soil and the quality of the plants they grow. I like to think that while this girl didn’t have that benefit - she got as close as she could to it here in the north. She was struggling heavy at the start when she was indoors. It must’ve been my error some how but she hated the coco medium, hated the nutes and hated the grow light. As soon as she was moved outside, she was a completely different plant - like she had been begging for the sun the whole time. 5/5 coconuts because you simply can’t beat growing in the ground as the cannabis gods intended😎. Yield🌴🌴🌴 Ahhh the great equalizer of grower egos. Let’s put all of the above in perspective; this girl ended up where she was out of necessity. She was exposed to the elements and potential rippers and named “the decoy” because her express purpose was to draw attention away from the other 2 plants that we didn’t want anyone messing with. Thankfully, no one with a thought to theft ever really noticed her and it wasn’t until late flower that she demonstrated herself to be an award winning plant👍🤘👍. Woulda thought she’d yielded more with how thin her side branches were in comparison to the buds. They were massive and she was ready to fall over by the time the chop window opened. But the buds were also somewhat less dense which made their final sizes a little deceiving. Another limiting factor was that some of her branches were pollinated - probably from a randy bumblebee that had gotten into it somewhere else. Like the other 2 outdoors this year, we pulled 6 or 7 seeds off this girl that may eventually get used in future grows. I’m certainly not opposed to the occasional seed as long as she’s not a full-on hermie that can’t be used. Who knows, maybe a breeding project Is in the cards next year🤔. End of the day, results were about as expected given her conditions and growing environment - 6.51oz of sun grown, sativa goodness👌. 3/5 palm trees for this - without some training and a more accommodating environment - we definitely left some of her potential on the table here. There’s still more than enough to go around though😉. Props Again, a shout out thank you to GD for the platform. Big thank you to HSO for breeding some wicked, awesome beans. And another shout out to good karma for seeing us through this one. Of course some special mention to those who swung in to creep on it these past weeks. Wedding Cake 1# Day 92# Wedding Cake 2# Day 86# Wedding has not grown much again this week, but it is still spreading abnormally, the trunk and branches are getting sickly thick, a huge difference from the last update... I don't think it will go much higher by the time it stretches, which would be ideal. Today it started to rain and it will rain for the next 4-5 days, while there will be storms for 2-3 days, and it will cool down a lot and the next 10 days will be much better weather... today I added another layer of netting to this row and pulled them through, in a few days I will add the third and let them grow through it. I forgot to take a picture of the second one, it will be in the next update..everything is the same with her, constantly hungry and thirsty, from the next feeding I'm going to force her with food, so let's see how much she eats because this is unreal lol Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

Update this is the 5th week in veg. I had trim everything from below and want to keep top of the canopy last week as well topped the 2nd time. The 6 main colas goes to 12 and after the 2nd topped now 24 main colas(I didn’t do the side branches)… I am going to let it veg out until week 6 or 8 depemdinf on the bounce back.

Arranca la semana con una solución más cargada y las plantas atadas al limite. No puedo imaginar lo que deben ser las raíces. Pero hasta ahora la solución está siempre limpia. Los EMRO están funcionando a la perfección. Espero que empiecen a formarse bien las flores. Día 17. Empezó el engorde. El estirón frenó. Ahora voy a esperar que las flores empiecen a tomar forma para luego hacer una defoliación y el último guiado, y así dejar todas las flores con una exposición a la luz de forma pareja. Estoy bastante contento y satisfecho con lo que vengo observando. Día 20. Hice una defoliación de las hojas superiores. Cómo solamente tengo hasta 3 nudos debajo de la cabeza con flores, saqué las hojas grandes de arriba que hacían sombra a las flores bajas. De esa forma las flores de arriba desarrollan un poco más las hojas pegadas a las flores, pero no tanto como para hacer gran sombra. Y las flores del 3er nudo, se siguen alimentando de las hojas grandes que dejé. Este corte lo hice hace años en un SCROG de critical mass, y obtuve muy buenos resultados. Ahora a esperar el tan preciado engorde. Día 21. Las flores ya empiezan a ganar volumen camino a su formación. Se las ve cambiando día a día. Por el momento sólo puedo agradecer que no ha habido inconvenientes. La solución se mantiene increíblemente limpia, siendo que por el volumen y amontonamiento de raíces que debe haber en los caños, debería haber aunque sea algo. Pero las EMRO vienen haciendo su trabajo bastante bien, así que fue una excelente inversión, y bastante accesible en precio. Mañana arranca la 4ta semana. Espero que sea una semana de grandes avances.

This week, I continued the LST on each plant everyday. Unfortunately, I broke one branch of the Cashew Kush by pulling too hard on it. Since it was one of the double branches (see last week photo), I'm curious to see if the other smaller branch will now increased its growth to compensate the loss. The growth is good despite some probable nitrogen excess (curled tip + dark green leaves) on the Blackberry Cake and the Cashew Kush. This is not the first time I'm facing this with Sensi Seeds plants in this pre-fertilized soil, but they always turned out fine in the end! I added a bit more water to these two plants to try to eliminate a bit of nitrogen excess. I also increased the watering frequency. I wanted to give some light to the lower branches without defoliating too much, too soon. So, I get the idea of removing only some leaflets on all the plants. I don't know if this technique has a name and if it's useful. Hier und da mal paar abgestorbene Blätter und Micro Buds entfernt. War eine gute Idee mit dem Hydroponic Grow, wächst deutlich besser und gesünder die Pflanze..

Now that I got the environment stable, it's nice to see her bud sites popping up. Did a bit more LST on her and hopefully when Nicky (the photoperiod) is done, I can boost the lights to 18 hours a day.

Heute startet der 50. Tag der Blüte und angegeben sind mindestens 63. Ich werde jedoch abwägen ob nicht schon etwas früher ernte,um dafür das Risiko für Schimmel klein zu halten. Sie riecht sehr stark nach Zitrone und ich kann es kaum abwarten sie endlich zu probieren.😋

Venga familia, cosecha de estas Black Rainbow de Seedstockers, tuve que adelantar una semana y dar machetazo. No veas que pinta que tienen estas plantas. Las flores aparte se ven resinosas, prietas, aparte son aromáticas huelen afrutado. En general es una genética algo complicada que aún así disfrute cultivarla, la genética es perfecta para cultivos de floración corta 8/9 semanas con rangos entre los 20/24 grados en interior, es compleja cultivarla y hay que tener cuidado con las condiciones, es excelente para cultivadores avanzados.
