Did some ballsy defoliation yesterday, but the girls seem to be rebounding well... Not sure if I stunted the northern lights plant or if she's just genetically shorter and bushier. I find myself popping my head in the tent to check on them enough that my husband walked by and said "I wish you loved me as much as you love your plants" 12/23 update. Unsure what my leaves are trying to tell me. Soil felt a little dry so I took the opportunity for a pH balanced fairly heavy watering, no nutrients this feed. Maybe a salt build up since I've been giving light nutes with every feed? Last flush earlier this week with solid pH on the runoff, so maybe not. Maybe just too much nutrients in general. I'll back off for a bit and see how she does. 12/26 update: lemon auto is getting light burned AF. Wound up rearranging the light situation to take her farther away from the light, but still within it to get enough light for some (hopefully) dense buds. I think a bigger tent is in my future. Week 9 started, nothing much has changed from week 8, just looking at buds and trying to notice the changes in size and just checking in. Plants look well, mostly buds, some lower leaves arent that healthy but probably due to light. Still adding flower nutriens, because I think harvest could be one or two weeks away, could flush later. Not sure if I should add even more water? Cant really tell from plants. Hoping this week buds will get bigger in size, currently they seem pretty small still. Week 9 ended, plant 1 has nice big bugs, some brown-ish flowers, sad that it outgrew space, some top buds were burnt by light, plant no 2 which was under secondary light also have nice big buds (this light has more red color i think), also this plant outgrew its space and had burnt top buds from light, but it looks almost ready, lots of brown flowers, also it has leaves with marks and issues, so already started to flush it, plant no 3 has nice frosty buds, but they are smaller in size, either lightning setup didnt reach it or maybe it was because of all the stress it recieved in vegetation weeks. Defoliated plants, which I think now is kind of mistake, should remove only the big fan leaves, no the small ones, perhaps thats why plant no 3 has smaller buds, because it recieved lots of defolation lately. Changed up lightning setup and moved plants around for better light conditions. Plant no 1 or no 2 could actually be ready for harvest or in few days, im not really sure, Im waiting on all plants for harvest, because will use grow space for drying and curing. Also I've shoulde started flushing somewhere this week, now Im going to start flushing only at end of week which could be too late.

2nd week of flowering and the girls are doing well.

She took over the complete tent surface!! Bearly have place to keep humidifier and heater. I am thinking never again to go with more than one plant as this way she will give her full potential. And tent is 80cmx80cmx180. She seem super healthy however I did found several leaves with brown spots. Not enough nutrient, too much nutrients? No idea...will need to google and ask you guys. I have disconnected her from the autopot after 5 days and will wait until root is dry. Need to leave her for 6-7 days again and the plan is to give her 10ml of BIO PK 5-8 and 8 ml of orgatrex diluted in 1,5 lit of water. Also I ve diluted 8 ml of orgatrex in tank with 18liters water added, hopefull she will use all of it at the time I am back and strart drying the root. Did some defoliation to pass down the light for lower flowers and spayed her with BOOM BOOM spray. Let see how next week will turn out. Cheers!

The plants seem pretty strong and resilient, have a interesting smell. The buds are very different from a plant to another in shape and trycome production. I had to cut them early because of the high heat, but the majority of the trycomes were milky.

This plant honest surprised me. I wasn’t impressed by the growth behavior or the terp profile. Around week 3 of flower she really started to shine. Definitely a late bloomer. More of an early outdoor plant IMHO.

Buds are really coming on now. Stretch is slowing. Very happy with the new lights and fan. Not sure I'll do scrog next time as its hard to keep up with all the grow and pruning/defoliation required. Adjusted my lights to get everyone even coverage. Light meter would be nice at some point!

Flush time!!!!!! Starting flush EC was 9.6 I’ve been flushing for 1 week and will go at least another full week. All the trichromes are cloudy with very little amber. This seems to be the hardest part of the grow for me…timing the flush with trichrome color. I’m ok with a little more amber than cloudy tho, so it will work out. So I’ll flush the plants once at the beginning of the flush period, to the point where there is gallons of runoff. Then I’ll feed like normal with zero runoff for the next full week. Gotta let the plants eat the nutrients in the substrate not just wash them out. I’d like to send samples for smoke review if anyone is interested. I grow only small batch, high terpene strains and would love the honest feedback.

Things are going alright with these girls. One of them is keeping up with the other strains in the tent, while the other two have been consistently pretty small. Not a big deal though, all flowering out now. Seeing some color come through, which is pretty neat! Not going to yield much, but hopefully will like the end product!

Day 1: This was the fastest germination I have seen. Only 72hrs from being planted to looking happy and healthy above ground. My plan is to not water this week and only rely on the humidifier which is filled with Ph’d water for feeding the plant. Now that the seedling is above ground I have changed from the 3 small CFL’s to just one 200watt CFL. I’ve added a strip of silver tape around the inside of the top of the pot to help reflect light. Day 2: Looking good. I put a few drops of water around the seedling just to dampen the soil a bit. Temperature is a bit hotter than I’d like at 30 degrees with the lights on but that’s down to the outside warm weather conditions. Seems to be okay though. Day 3: Happy and healthy. I put another few drops of water around it again to keep the soil damp, but only in close to the seedling. I’m keeping the top layer of the rest of the soil dry so it’s not appealing for little bugs and mould. Underneath the dry layer the soil is still wet since I soaked it through before planting the seed. Day 4: Getting wider but not any taller which is awesome. I put another few drops of water around the bass of the stem. The humidity doesn’t seem to be enough on its own, probably because of the high temperature. Day 5: Happy and healthy looking. Day 6: Everything is awesome. Day 7: One week old and it’s all looking good. Another few drops of water again today around the stem. Plant is starting to take shape. Wahoo, one week down.
