We’re deep into Week 8, and Blue Banana Cream is stacking up beautifully. Trichomes are looking frosty, covering the buds in a thick, sticky layer—definitely a strain that’s going to shine post-cure. The aroma has intensified compared to earlier weeks, now pushing out a stronger creamy, fruity scent with a slight gas undertone. Every time I open the tent, it hits harder. The buds are swelling up nicely, transitioning from airy to more mid-compact density. Pistils are still mostly white, meaning it’s got a bit more time before it fully ripens. One thing I’ve noticed—the branches are starting to lean from the weight, so some light support might be needed to prevent them from bending too much in the final stretch. I’m keeping temps at 18-20°C and humidity around 55-60% to ensure a proper finish. With harvest around the corner, it’s just about watching those trichomes shift from clear to cloudy/amber and letting this one reach its peak.

Day 69 of cycle - day 32 of flowering.. My biggest plant in size since I started growing 3 years ago.. I qm really happy with what is coming out of this besuty gelato.. I am impressed by the growth and health of this babe.. many branch sides with many top buds.. the smell is amazing, that good gelato we all know.. let’s fatten it up and I can’t wait to smoke it.. let’s go

She does not have much time left. I am feeding her twice a day: the final part by TA, plus pH 6 water with CalMag, & she is responding well, packing on bud weight. But the truth is, she is a size S girl.

Week 6 flower : I stopped the pk half way through week 6 so it had a total of 10 days feed with pk13/14 I also cut out the silicone and calmag on the same day . I defoliated a little as there was a lot bud sites covered . I am going to start the flush in 3 days which will be . .6 1/2 weeks into flower , going to give them 2 weeks flush with plain water . Still have a bit of leaf curl from the light being so close I did move it but because the canopy is not so even it’s hard to get it right .

This is my largest indoor plant I've ever had! I'm super happy. I have a lot to do with trimming now. Thanks to canna the whole growing process was quite easy!! It took her three weeks longer than the breeder stated but that's okay considering the low night temperatures and the fact that she only got 12H light.

Week 3: Adapting and Thriving Transplanting to Larger Pots This week, I transplanted the plants into 11-liter fabric pots filled with Plagron coco coir mixed with perlite (70/30). The small pots were already root-bound. It's often said that a plant will stop growing when the taproot reaches the bottom of the pot. Personally, I think this is nonsense, but we'll see. This transplant provides them with more space for root development and better aeration, promoting healthier growth. Growth Observations The plants are showing significant growth, with vibrant green leaves and sturdy stems. The increased light exposure from the greenhouse setup is clearly benefiting them. Their resilience is impressive, and they appear to be adapting well to their environment. Feeding and Watering As the coco mix dries out, I am preparing for their next feeding. Following the Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding chart, I have increased the nutrient solution to an EC of 1.0 mS/cm. This should provide them with the necessary nutrients without the risk of nutrient burn, especially for autoflowering strains. I will not go higher than this concentration to ensure their safety. Improved Weather Conditions The weather has improved significantly, with very little rain and temperatures ranging between 19°C and 22°C for the next few days. This stable weather is ideal for the plants, providing them with consistent conditions to continue their healthy growth. Daily Care Routine My daily routine includes checking the plants in the morning and evening, adjusting the greenhouse openings as needed, and monitoring the moisture level of the coco mix. This consistent care helps me stay on top of any changes and address them promptly. Looking Forward As we progress into the third week, I am excited to see how the plants continue to develop in their new, larger pots with the adjusted nutrient levels. The combination of a controlled environment, balanced nutrition, and diligent care is setting a strong foundation for their growth. Update on 11.06.2024 Today, I fed my plants for the second time this week. During this feeding, I adjusted the nutrient amount for the vegetative phase (2/3 of the recommended amount from Terra Aquatica): CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.2 ml/l Bloom: 0.8 ml/l Micro: 0.4 ml/l EC: 1,166 ms/cm (536 ppm PPM-500/TDM) PH: 5,83 The plants were watered with approximately 20% drain. Harvested GP#2 on week 12. Hung it up and dried at 70 degrees and 60% humidity for 10 days. Total weight after dried and trimmed is 8.3 ounces. They are currently curing in two half pound grove bags. This specific gorilla punch was great to grow. There wasn’t much defoliation required and with her sitting at almost 4 feet tall there wasn’t much larf at all. Pictures provided were taken right before she was put in 48 hours of darkness. Video was taken after a week of curing.

Day 21 - Past week or so was rough (drooping leaves), which recovered during the night period. I figured it was either light or heat. Turns out the lights were way to bright (brown tips, bleaching leaves, drooping leaves). Turned off the 300 watt LED. Turned the Two 75 watt LEDS TO 40% plant is now stretching out nicely. Will turn light up slowly once stretch looks good. Happy New Year! Day 22 - Stretch looks good turned lights up 5% and leaves stopped stretching so back to 40%. Day 23 - Everything is resolved. Lights were way to bright. Caused the plant to stay short and brown tips. Reduced lights by 60% and now it’s beginning to stretch a little during the day and a lot at night. Added nutes back in and reduced the water to 2 cups per day. Day 25 - added 5% on lights. Stretching nicely. Manage vertical growth with filling out using the lights. Day 26 - looking good increased water to 12oz per day. Day 27 - lights up 5% back down 5%. I leave it alone now. Couple gnats flying around. Not sure if it is a problem?

12/20 Week 7 Happy with the growth and the smell is so sweet, minty, and berry so terps are doing just fine. Backed off nuets ever so slightly 12/21 new pics and backing off the nuets more tonight - 10ml each see if I can get rid of those white tips Helps if you upload the right files 😎 12/23 pics 12/24 All is good but think I am going to continue reducing the nuets and checking EC of runoff as still getting some small issues on leaf tips. Maybe I am chasing ghosts we will see 12/25 White tips under control, runoff checked at 1600ppm unadjusted 950ppm unadjusted in, adjusted for water thats 1400 and 750 so ok now. Buds building fast swapping positions in the tent tonight.

Day 71 from seed the plant seems to be coming along nicely and flowering stretch has come to a end . I cut some of the lower branches that were carrying some flower because there was no way they were going to develop on time with the higher branches because of lack of light penetration at that lower level and since nothing well happened to those lower branches she can start concentrating her effort and energy on to the higher buds. Interesting note with this girl has been that she has stretch constantly up to this point therefore not putting a lot of effort on building up those flowers that makes me hope that when she starts putting Wight in those flowers they are going to be beautiful. After deciding to start this new growing journey, I chose to germinate a Banana Purple Punch seed from Fast Buds. This particular strain caught my attention with its unique characteristics, and I couldn't resist giving it a try. I began by using a hydrogen peroxide water solution to germinate the seed, which helps oxygenate the water and prevent harmful pathogens. After about 36 hours, the seed cracked open, revealing the first signs of life. With a taproot emerging, I carefully transplanted the sprouted seed into a 20L airpot, ensuring enough room for the roots to breathe and grow freely. This marks the beginning of an exciting new adventure, nurturing this intriguing strain to its full potential.🌱💚 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ One of my cannabis seedlings unfortunately didn’t survive in the pot....😭 Now, I’m trying again with two more seeds of the same strain, but I’ve changed my approach. Once they've successfully sprouted, I transfer them into coco tablets. There, they’ll remain until they’ve developed healthy roots before being moved to their final growing environment. I’m hopeful that this method will help me handle the early phase of the cannabis plants more successfully, and I’m excited to see how things turn out.💚💚
