🤗 Hi fellow growers. We are back here to harvest the Northern Lights Auto from Seedsman. She took 11 weeks to finish flower and a total of 15 weeks from seed to harvest. 🌱Growing her was a little tricky as she was finicky at the beginning of flower. She wasn't the fastest auto but she put on some tall colas with some fair amount of resin smelling of sour stone fruit such as a plum. Chopped her down then dryed for 14 days in a environment controlled room. Then began the trimming process. After a nice manicure the plum smelling buds were then placed in a jar to set cure for 30 days. There was quite a bit of larf nugs on the bottom skirts that I should have trimmed off during the flowering cycle but sometimes I like keeping them to press into some rosin before my nugs are cured. I find that pressing the flowers with in the first week of the curing process produces the best quality flower rosin In the end I'm left with a gram and a half of some beautiful Northern Lights flower rosin that tastes and smells like a sour plum and packs a big punch. About a 10% return so not the greatest yield but it sure is some high quality rosin. Keep it mind it was the larf flower and I press at 180°F to preserve as much flavor as I can. I'm after quality and have been achieving that. Effects - Relaxing, calming, Happy Yield - 68 g nice nuggets 14 g of larf that went to rosin Smell - Sour plum Forrest Taste - Skunky plums

Buds are really setting up nicely. French Macaron smells right on brand... and the Chem Brulee... my god! It smells like a Tropical Rocket Fuel. Amazong. The Pineapple Meatball has a really unique odor, but it is still fairly faint. Hoping that the neem/nute burn didn't somehow affect its resin/terp/bud production. It certainly hasn't seemed to affect the French Macaron and the Chem Brulee! This week, I sprayed 3 times with Dr Zymes, and it completely knocked out the small number of fungus gnats I was dealing with. Also released 4,500 ladybugs, and it's been fun watching them spread and work. Will probably stick with the once-per-week Zymes treatment for the next few weeks.

Chopped her on day 83, sadly the last day is not on timelapse due to a camera firmware update and after the reboot it returned its angle to base and I didn't notice it. Stem and Buds turned slightly purple in the last days. The ORP probe is not calibrated and values are to be taken with a grain of salt. Values are average of the day. Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Flushed once and light defoliation this week as it’s one on the last times to do so before trellis net goes on. Also one of my last applications of organic insecticidal soaps (preventative) and Magnifical applied as a foliar spray. Low stress training for very last time and released by the end of the week. Girls are looking healthy with a few clearly showing sex. New intake fan and exhaust next week for when heating comes on in the house.

This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! Let’s see how she continues to shape up in the coming weeks. Staying hopeful!🌱💚

He sido muy estricto con los riegos, dejando que el top hasta el nudillo se seque completamente! Día 14 (07/05) Hago una mejora en la tienda. Hasta ahora tenia intracción pasiva, pero ahora he instalado una turbina para que impulse aire fresco dentro de la tienda Día 15 (08/05) Con el calor que hace me sorprende que las macetas sigan aguantando la humedad, pero al hundir el nudillo sigue húmeda. Mañana haré un riego de nuevo Día 16 (09/05) Relleno el top con sustrato para compensar la compactación y dar mas soporte a las plantas Riego con 300 ml solo H20 - pH 6,2 Día 17 (10/05) Baño de sol de dos horas. Left her more than 15 days drying that she lost a bit of her 10 day terpines... But still I could let her finally curing. Also i think I pushed the plant a bit too much at the end, I think she needed less light a bit more nutrients until the end. Fun plant to grow, interesting terpines exactly from a the mix of sweet critical taste with citrus kinda skunky side. I'm still more of a fan of RQS Critical auto, but both are very good, easy and fun plants to grow. Effects quite uplifting, creative and trippy, but mild as it should for a 15%. THC plant.

I'm still waiting to see less clear trichomes on the buds, carefully allowing the pot to dry before watering, and feeding just bembe and big bloom this week. I found my last pineapple kush harvest bland, hence the continued feeding after flush. This is the third week since flush.

Week 13! I have decided to stagnant harverst her in two parts as there is fresh growth in her lower half that the light cannot reach and the top buds are mature now and at the optimal cloudy trichomes I'm looking for are present. Look at all those trichomes heavy leaf and buds! She is heavy and smelling amazing with hints of fruit and cookies. I will also be flushing her next week! What an amazing journey, coming to an end!

Última poda de bajos. Hago 3 riegos a la semana 700-800ml repartiendo fertilizantes. Último riego siempre agua, calmag y sensizym únicamente. He medido ec sustrato y da 2.4, un poco alto pero parece que lo soportan bien. Sino me equivoco quedan aún 7 días de prefloracion (crecimiento) mínimo. Creo que pueden llegar a los 90-100cm. He podido contar en 25 plantas como 80-90 ramas a la misma altura, creo que el Scrog ha servido para organizar bastante. Nos vemos próximamente 😘
