Drinking like a fish

Actualización 05/10/2024 ¡Hola, growers! Perdón por no poder compartir las semanas completas, pero poco a poco volvemos a la normalidad. Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨

Hi and welcome to a new grow :) Unfortunately I have to start over because of a malfunction I had with the automation of the heater. I basically cooked my plants. But now we‘re back with three new Ladys, wich I hope will turn out as beautiful as in the picture. I planted four, just in case one of them doen‘t make it. I will choose the 3 faster ones of course. The medium I use is mixed with soilles media (peat ,vermiculite) with additives. It‘s basically sythetic but it still has microbes. The nutriensolution is also mixed syntheticaly. I‘m not going to explain everything right now but at this stage i‘m feeding the plant low amounts of the Veg formular that was recomended in different studies. The EC is about 1350. PH of the Media and the Water is about 5.8. I also have a CO2 bag but unfortunately it was cooked by my heater 😬let‘s hope the funghi survived. Since oxigen is very important for the roots I am pumping Air throught the watercontainer. It helps keeping it clean as well. I do have Hidrogen Peroxide as well, but i‘m not sure if i should use it for the extra oxigen. If any of you have experience with it feel free to comment! I will keep you updated on the plantgroth over the week but for now everything is setup. Have a nice Weekend 🌱 Update: The first three girls are coming out pretty fast. InicuallyI though the 4th seedling didn‘t make it but she came out a day later. that was part of the planing so we’ll see. The first three are roughly the same age too wich is awesome. Right now i‘m giving them around 200 ppfd/24h. The Temperature and humidity are stable at 26°C and 90% humidity (as in picture) now it‘s lowered to 75% wich means the VPD is roughly 8,5. Let‘s hope I don‘t cook them this time 🙏 Oh and the CO2 bag is alive. Update: I‘m experimenting with VPD and I figured out, that the leaf experiences a different VPD due to cooling of the leaf while water is transpiring. So with LEDs the leaves don‘t warm up from the missing infra red but luckily my Light gets pretty warm so i put it up hight and brighten it to 40%. The seedlings stopped growing at a Lux of 8000 so i put them on 13000 with a leaf VPD of 0,6. I used a VPD calculater and have the following environment: 27,5°C and 60% Humidity. The leafs are ≈24 degrees (if i measured correctly) and the caculator spits out 0,6-0,8 wich would be ideal. Let‘s see how they grow since they are seedlings i‘m not sure if this stresses them. All went good this week ,she starting to pack up some weight now ,quite tall so far ,this week ive up the feed to 900ppm so watch this space ,i think i have finished with defoliation too as i have a dehumidifier in the tent now to keep steady 45-50% humidity

Flower Week 7 Day 49 to 55 - 5/6 to 5/12 They both look very healthy this week. The calyx are swelling with maturing hairs, the pistols are orange, the trichomes are mostly white, and the leaves are fading/changing colors - still not ripe enough for me, but flushing with half nute feeds now. Feed this week was another auto pot reservoir flush feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm of Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). And then, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). PH balance this week was for 5.8 where I plan to maintain it until harvest. Next week will continue the same half nute feed. I will continue to monitor the signs of trichomes, pistols, and calyx for a better harvest and allow the buds to mature more.

Ya que estamos en la semana 9 y está cepa.se recomiendan entre 11 a 12 semanas por este este riego es el último con fertilizantes y empezamos a regar con solo agua y veremos si agregamos su activera en la semana siguiente y suficiente después preparar nuestras raíces para su lavado y cosechar ! We pick this grow up in week 2 from germination, right now the four plants are in 1.5 grow cups while the roots fill out and are ready to be transplanted. This tent is the tent I just finished growing chicken N Wafflez in and I was happy with the results so the only thing I'm changing for this tent is I will only be feeding foop nutrients to this grow as I am intrigued by their line and want to give it a shot and once flower is transitioned I will be adding a 65w under canopy light by RDJ Bouns to help stack some more A bud in the lower canopy. Still using the AC Infinity wicking pots and all the same top lights as last grow in this tent. Let's get growing!

Overall very happy with the grow. Got 24oz of very dense nugs! I also managed to get 2oz of less dense but still pretty bag-appeal, and a shit ton of trim which I made into tidy ass brownies, which have made typing this incredibly difficult😂! Both of these strains are definitely bed time strains. The Critical kush is has the usual overwhelming kush taste, however the peyote(purple nugs) have a very sweet / flowery taste and smell. Disappointed I only done 1 peyote but more than happy with the critical. Would definitely grow both these strains again!

week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

This girl was a little slower starting. We had excessive rain. I thought it was going to rot her roots. It didn't. She's handled the wet conditions and is really taken off this week. We had more rain on day 4 then intermittently through the night into day 5. We had cooler temps on day 6 and more intermittent rain that evening and night. Day 7 we again had thunderstorms and rain that night. I added Diamond Brand Ferrous Sulfate at the above listed rate of 2.5 ml/gallon of soil in day 6. I distributed these granules evenly across the top of the soil. Using 7.6 pH well water creates challenges in keeping iron and phosphorus available to the plants. Adding this amendment acidifies the soil and provides a readily available and lasting iron supplement during veg.
