This week has gone well, had a bunch of stuff typed out and closed my browser by mistake and now this is #2 attempt to post this week. Easy week for the plants, they have being growing well and I am impressed by the size of them. I added in some potassium silicate to introduce some Si into this grow. I decided to top them as they where starting to grow their 4th node, snipped that tip off and we're golden. They are kinda smelly if you rub them and that's fun too, Some of the hot peppers have also popped up and started growing. I still don't have anything on the Naga Morich pepper that I am hoping for. I have a feeling that as the seeds I got from these peppers where from a dehydrated pepper, they might be duds nuked from the dry heat of the dehydrator. I do have 4 vials of hot pepper seeds where the label has fallen off, I found the labels but no idea what one goes on what bottle. One out of the four bottles is Naga Morich, Having some none dehydrated seeds in my possession is one step closer to getting more of this hottie. I also found a fly out of no where, Its little wing is damaged and it more or less hops and glides unsuccessfully vs fly's but I took some videos of it. I also seen a few fungus gnats, little fuckers where not in my apartment before I am convinced their eggs survive in the stuff I buy then come out of it. Kinda annoying. PLUS I borrowed a light meter from my hydro shop, I was expecting it to be a LUX meter and that I would have to do a bunch of conversions but it was not, it was a legit Quantum Par Sensor, detecting in PPF "Photosynthetic Photon Flux" or umols/s, with these readings I can calculate my PPFD "PPF+Density" I have mapped out my tents floor into a colour coded grid of dots and mapped out the PPF at varying heights and dims. However I did not do it right and need to redo this. But once this is done I will have a functioning PPFD map with relation to my tent. This will help me tone in DLI and get it aorund a solid 35-40. Will be gearing up for a transplant next week. I try and post on Fridays but don't always get around to it. I take the pics on that date though and then try and remember what I was going to write about that week. PS Gorilla Tent Accessory's suck shit. The SCROG nets pic has the gorilla 2x4 SCROG net "black" and the Secret Jardin 2x4 SCROG net "white" beside it. massive difference in quality and size. I should have known when they state on the label its for 2x2 or 2x4, that's not even possible. Also tried out the nutrient line that's part of the gorilla tent company, Lotus, I ran it one year and it was just trash, did not work, had issues since first week and they would not correct. Buddy reached out to me and said same thing happened to him and he disliked the brand. Hey gents! She is growing so well... Glad I started this hobby. Buds are filling out. I see many pistons turning brown. Maturity wise I think Im halfway done with flowering. My guess would be that 4 more weeks and this will be ready. Minor defoliation was done. (fan leaves that were shading bud sites). 90% of the community would have just trimmed the bud sites in the lower part of the canopy but I didn't wanna touch the plant more and just allow her to do her own thing. The plants are growing and getting fatter and thicker by the day. I can see shoots of red pistins on the flowers and they are very sticky. The smell starts to be noticeable but I have a carbon filter so I'm sorted for now I do consider to bring ac unit

She looks so beautiful,unfortunately I could achieve the form I wanted with lst because she was planted too late but I'll grow a big rounded bush of this beautiful strain for sure, and also I can see a few leafs burned because when I started training her the leafs were to close to the tex of the pot and she got burned with the extreme sun that we have here in spain on summer,however she's thriving perfectly and she's ready to give the best in flower,let's see how this gorilla strain performs

So I believe the plants are coming to an end within a couple of weeks. I took everything off the timer and am now running 24/0 light schedule. I want to make the most out of what light is available. The plants need it. My tent is underpowered in that department, so increasing the duration of the light is all I can realistically do. Hopefully, it will help. The buds have been developing nicely. They are incredibly FROSTY 😍 so to keep the progress going, I have been sticking with the sea kelp for the potassium. Occasionally adding phosphorus with the bud explosion PK Booster. With much smaller doses in comparison, each time. There are definitely signs of nitrogen excess, with the clawing on many leaves. There are also extremely purple stems on the leaves. As I don't know what the seed was, I can't tell whether it is normal for the strain it is, or a nutrient issue, light stress, etc. (If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate them!) This one was planted in coco, perlite, and worm castings. Due to this being practically the first time I've used this mix without adding the peat based "light mix". I had not realised how quickly the pots will dry out, especially during the high water consumption of the flowering stage. I realise that I need to be treating it as pure coco. This can be fantastic, for example, if you have just one pot/plant and can provide all the waterings and monitoring continually and regularly. This tends to make you use more nutrients than necessary, as personally I find it difficult to use just plain water. I think many of us still can't help the feeling that we should be adding things to every watering. Therefore, when the frequency of the waterings increases, we are still adding nutrients EVERY time. Which is an overall increase in nutrients, too. For my part, I'm cutting the amount of nutrients per watering. I feel like nutrients are a bit of a crutch to growers. I'm still getting used to the coco and the waterings, but I am really enjoying it. If you don't check your plants multiple times a day, it may not be the best choice of substrate. For me, I'd much rather the pots dry quickly because it reduces the chances of mould and mildew, which I'm always concerned about. 30.5.25: I watered with 4L of plain dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1. Slight nutrient burn on the super silver haze and the banana. I have backed them up in feed from 10ml per gallon back to 8, it seems to have done the trick the last couple days. Both banana and super silver haze are trucking along quite well I think otherwise. I have officially decided to start my flushing on the black domina x Scott's og, trichomes are about half milky half clear, not sure if I should be doing a full flush or continue feeding through week 7 and start flush on week 8 I'm not overly sure lol see how it goes anyway. I start to remove few leaves and I’ll prepare her to training

Transplanted into the 5 gal smart bucket. Branches seem to be growing again. All main branches are tied down now, will take clones from the lower banches this week. But the red stems are worrying, I think she's stressed from repotting but I will wait and see. But the yellow new growth I will have to keep an eye on and do some reading. I was considering repotting to a 5 gal smart pot because I have the space but should leave it a while so she can recover. Thinking about what to do for flowering lights. don't know if low end LEDS might be a better option the cfls I have now.
