Week 28/5 - 3/6

Another successful week plants aren't dead. Did some more defoliation this week to allow light to penetrate the smaller colas at the bottom of the canopy, still haven't found a feeding schedule that works for me, going to cut my feedings in half next week because I'm starting to see some minor nute burn on the leaf tips. Good week though I'm pleased with it onto week 10/week 5 of flower!

Finally we cut this plant 13 weeks plant, it isn't a 8 weeks plant this is my main complaint about it, the bank should change the information because most of the people select this strains because are "faster".

The girls are doing well, more ingredients from advanced nutrients will be added during the week, hopefully everything will go as planned In the middle of the week, I removed the lower leaves and branches that had no potential. I didn't want to remove the leaves but it was necessary, I couldn't water, now there is a nice approach. I'm just worried if it will harm the plants too much, the stems look quite massive, almost like broccoli 😁. Plant no. 3 will also stay in the tent, I originally wanted to grow only two, if space allows, and I will also have to support it, it is still about 15 cm lower than the others. I will at least do a test, plant no. 1 is pinched, no. 2 is not pinched, 3rd is not pinched and in a smaller pot, about 750 ml

Grow Report — Nectar Drip GrowDiaries Week 10 (Actual Week ~6–7 from Seed) First things first, a small clarification for anyone following the diary closely. On GrowDiaries this report appears as Week 10, but in reality the plants are around week 6–7 from seed. The reason is simple: the first entry in the diary was created during germination and no photos were uploaded at that moment, so the timeline shifted a little on the platform. So for accuracy: plants are currently around week 6–7 from seed and well into early flower. Now let’s talk about what has been happening. ⸻ Quick Recap For anyone just arriving to the diary, here’s the short version of the journey so far. The goal of this run has always been simple: grow healthy plants, observe them carefully, and share the process honestly. The environment has been kept stable and relatively simple: • 12/12 from seed • balanced feeding schedule • steady environmental control • minimal intervention unless the plants ask for it Up until now we mostly focused on guiding growth and observation, allowing the plants to express themselves naturally while keeping the canopy organized. And they are doing exactly that. ⸻ This Week — The Garden Is Exploding This week the girls are looking absolutely incredible. Structure is strong. Color is perfect. Leaf health is excellent. And the most exciting part: trichomes are already everywhere. Even at this stage the plants are starting to sparkle. Resin production is clearly ramping up and the flowers are stacking beautifully. Height is now roughly around one meter to a little over one meter, creating a very healthy canopy without stretching out of control. Honestly, these are beautiful specimens and a joy to watch develop. ⸻ Defoliation — Why We Did It Now This week we performed a targeted defoliation. This was not done because the plants were struggling or because something was wrong. We did it by choice and by timing. The reasoning is simple: It is often easier and less stressful to remove certain leaves earlier in flower rather than waiting until the canopy becomes dense and airflow becomes restricted. So we removed only what was necessary to: • improve light penetration • increase air movement inside the canopy • reduce future humidity pockets • allow the flowers to develop in a more open environment Nothing aggressive. Nothing excessive. Just removing leaves that were clearly blocking key flower sites. This kind of intervention is always a balance. Different growers prefer different approaches, but in this case it felt like the right moment to open the canopy a bit. Now we observe how the plants respond. ⸻ First Structural Training This week also marks the first time we applied some stronger structural training to these girls. Until now the plants were mostly guided and allowed to develop naturally. At this stage we introduced a bit more direction to the structure so the canopy develops evenly and future flower sites receive better light exposure. Again, nothing extreme. The idea is simply to help the plant organize itself for the next weeks of flowering. The real feedback from this will come in the next report, where we will see how they react. ⸻ Environmental Conditions The room is currently running around: Temperature: ~28°C Relative Humidity: ~68% Outside conditions at the moment are: ~10°C with about 87% humidity Considering the outside environment, we are actually very happy with how stable the room is staying. But one thing worth mentioning: We don’t chase room VPD numbers too aggressively. What really matters is leaf VPD and plant response. Plants tell the truth much better than charts do. Right now the plants look extremely happy: • strong leaves • no stress signals • steady growth • excellent resin development So the environment is clearly working for them. ⸻ Nutrients Feeding remains exactly the same for now. No changes this week. The current nutrient schedule continues to support healthy growth and there is no reason to modify something that is clearly working. Sometimes the best move in the garden is simply: don’t change what isn’t broken. ⸻ Introducing a New Team Member This week we also officially welcomed a new member to the team: Mr. Baggy. He has already been making appearances around the garden and many of you may have spotted him in some of the photos. He’s now officially part of the crew and helping around the studio and garden. Branch broke off, but I actually decided later to put the rest of the plant back for ripening. When I pull the rest I'll update the diary with a new week. Then when I press rosin I'll see if ripening made the yield better or terps improved, etc. This pheno that I have has this quite offensive terpene profile, I would almost describe it as leathery, like the leather in manly cologne that's usually paired with tobacco. As I write this I just took a dab off my third generation plant that I harvested almost two weeks ago now. This run I focused on feeding to maximize terpenes. I did get fantastic yields of beautiful golden rosin, and possibly a more complex terpene profile. That dab blasted my entire throat and sinus with this sort of green, undeniable weed taste, not exactly skunk but definitely a pungent green. No candy, not getting any purple punch, really no sweetness either that you find with a lot of strains these days. Just pure green dank. It's been maybe 15 mins since I took that dab, I'm lying in bed, my sinuses are COATED I can taste it on my entire palate. Can't wait to run some other genetics like this! 😂 Just not my favorite terpene profile I guess. Damn I can appreciate the difference in my old runs and this run though. I always said I wanted to make rosin that punches you in the face with flavor.

What’s up guys? So.. entering week 8!! What was a dream is now entering in the final stage, from now on only plain water. I reckon I still have about 2 weeks to harvest so I’ve started to feed only water since last friday The lady’s are all going great, still fatting up and they’re looking good and healthy The smell is kinda strong in all of them but the critical + 2.0 is definitely the winner. Smells really citric, and it’s pretty intense The development of trichomes is more evident every day too I’ve also added a new light that I won in a giveaway (lucky bastard) so let’s hope that will help in this final stretch 😎 I’m thinking I could get around 50/60g per plant, what do you guys think? Decided to re grow this strain having grown it my last run. The terps on this one I find to be mouthwatering and smokes amazing. It was an easy one to grow not really requiring any special treatment. Really excited to see how this grows under better conditions.

8/8/24 New leaf growth starting to turn purple. Not sure if this is bad or not?! Buds are getting bigger

i think pistills are changing more oranger this week.. but i guess buds are not growing fat this week .. something isn't right...
