Going into week 9, seeing some frost on the leaves and the aroma is stronger and so nice. She looks great after the heavy defoliation last week, contrary to opinions from a few critics. Sometimes I like to find out for myself, I read many different viewpoints on defoliation and I decided to try. And it worked. Peace friends, happy growing! 🌱👍

These XtraKush are also finally starting to grow. It took them a while but they doubled in a week. Still a little bit pale compared to the other two strains. With a new top layer of first worm castings and then neutral organic cocopeat to combat the gnat problem and we seem to have fixed most problems. Temps are going down at night, I'm trying to fix this by keeping it warmer in the attic where the grow is. In the coming week, I'm going to train/manifold them, they are getting a bit big. Welcome back, fellow growers, to the next chapter of my Medusa F1 adventure! We're now in week 9 from seed and week 5 of flowering, and boy, oh boy, things have taken a colorful turn in my garden. The buds on my Medusa are showing off a mesmerizing range of hues, with shades ranging from pink to purple, adorned with hints of red and green. It's a botanical masterpiece that feels like walking through a vibrant artist's palette! Now, let's dive into a fascinating aspect of the final weeks: stopping the feedings. As we approach the grand finale, I've decided to halt all nutrient supplements. Why, you ask? Well, it's like preparing for a fancy dinner party. Just like we ease up on appetizers before the main course, withholding additional nutrients allows the plant to focus its energy on ripening those gorgeous buds to perfection. It's like providing a VIP treatment, pampering the flowers as they reach their peak potency. Speaking of peak, I must admit, I've become quite the trichome enthusiast. Every day, I examine those tiny resinous structures, observing their development with a level of dedication that might make my Medusa think I'm an extraterrestrial trichome investigator. WEEK #13 - THE GLASS IS HALF FULL? A bit more progress again, plants are now roughly 50cm in diameter and 30cm (Skywalker) / 35cm (Slush Mint Cake) in height. In fact, i was able to move some branches to the next "squares" of the net, which feels very pleasant/satisfying. As far is i can tell, Slush had in fact more stretch than skywalker, which seems due to the strain genetic. Lots of leaves pressing towards the walls at the moment. Waiting for stretch to finish so i can remove them, and also the leaves blamable for, as well as the always shaded bottom shoots - no need for them when you have so many one on the sunny side. Seems i need to check soil / bag weight more often as some leaves showed signs of being withered (which i removed). Well, it totally makes sense that plants of double the size need water more often and also drink more. Opened the tent today and saw 3 of the tiny annoying flies, so immediately preemptively set up traps. Smell: Still not stronger than before (yet), very faint and not very distinct ("green"). Although one definitely can smell something (or ist my imagination?). Light: Still 35cm distance for appr. 800 PPFD/µmol/m²/s. - - - Question(s): Ready for defoil, si o no? Do you like the videos? I am finding it difficult to get my camera to take photos and videos with the proper colour hence the double videos! It is unreal how thicc these are getting!! They smell wonderful! The other two plants are starting to show a bit more of their red/purple colours too! Noticing a bit of potassium stress from feeding but since they are nearly finished (I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THAT!) I am only going to pull back a bit. They just need to survive another 14-21 days by the looks of them!

Hi liebe Community und Willkommen zurück im Sensi Seeds Wettbewerb! 💚 Chocolate Rainbow 🍫🌈 Nach der 12 Wachstumswoche insgesamt ist nun die sechste Blütewoche vorbei. 🌱(Wachstumstag 89 | 🌷Blüte Tag 35) Die Blütenausbildung ist richtig stark ausgeprägt. In dem Stadion hatte ich schon ne Weile keine Pflanze mehr, die so eine dicke Budsturktur aufweist. Die Blütenstände sind jetzt schon rzwischen 4cm und 5cm breit.. Die Trichome bilden sich immer weiter aus. Und allmählich ist ein kräftigeres würziges Aroma wahrzunehmen. Schokolade würde jetzt noch nicht sagen, aber dennoch sehr tief. Zusätzlich kommt nun eine leichte Süße Note hinzu. Die Höhe liegt nun insgesamt bei knapp 88cm. Diese Woche kam noch einmal ein PK 5 - 8 mit 4ml auf 1l Gießwasser hinzu. Die Bedingungen im Growschrank sind für die Blütephase top! The end is near! My behemoth plant is putting in the final push to fatten the buds just the way I like. Trichomes are starting to get cloudy, and pistils are changing from white to red/brown. Buds are plumping. Hopefully i can chop next week, although I am considering a multi-stage harvest. Anyone care to weigh in on that?

The Olympia Auto has just entered flowering. The plant has remained quite small, likely due to the intense cold stress (temperatures below 10ºC) it experienced—similar to other autos I'm cultivating this season. Despite its size, I'm impressed by how much it’s stretching in this phase; it just keeps growing. The aroma is still weak but gradually increasing each day. Health: The plant looks healthy and beautiful. It’s a shame that only one plant emerged from the seed pack, but even though I haven’t harvested yet, I’m eager to grow this strain again! Ambient Conditions: This week started off hot (with a minimum of 23ºC and a maximum of 30ºC), but a cold front has now brought temperatures back down (with a minimum of 11ºC and a maximum of 20ºC). Humidity remains quite low, around 30-35%. Training: I haven’t done any training or defoliation on this plant. Fertilization: I applied Ekosil (silica + potassium), another dose of bokashi, and a dose of nitrogen, with one more nitrogen application planned for the end of this week. Pest Control: I'm continuing with Beauveria treatments, and I no longer have issues with the fungus gnats that had appeared earlier. Watering: I’ve been watering the plant very minimally, as the substrate has been staying moist on its own. Looking Forward: From this point on, there’s not much left to do except watch the flowering progress.

I've turned the light up to 35000 lux. Up'd the bloom to 1.5ml/l. There still stretching and could do with more room but there doing well 😎
