D43. First day of seventh week, I finally took out all the blumat water lines to be able to level the canopies to better perform the next four weeks. The whole tent is full of little colas, especially the lazy seed that have the most tiny ones due to the slow growth plus that she was quite in the bottom until today but now she's finally receiving same light as her sisters 💪. Today I watered again after three days, soil tension went from 40 to over 200 before watering that probably mean from now on will be better to stick on watering every two days instead of three. Things are getting smelly and promising, this week I'll do another insecticide foliar spray and watering and hope for the best. Peace ☮️ D46. That's a lot of wild stuff going on in here and my little girls look happier than ever, all the fans around every cola turned deep purple and full of white all around and they smell so good. I just watered 10% of the pot capacity with neem oil, calmag, higrozyme and nutrients until EC 1.9 pH 6.1 so water tension came down from over 200 to over 40mbar, also foliar sprayed again with potassic soap, neem and phyretrine since some thrip are still messing around. Good news the lazy plant despite the little colas once started receiving same light as her sisters she strengthen production and color of the leaf, not so bad!

Buds could be bigger but I’m not complaining, their doing great on my add back method. Starting to stack and plump up now.

I am loving how strong this sativa strain is. I keep defoliating her to expose as many bud sites as possible. At the same time, I am trimming those side branches with low chances of making it to the top. 🌱🌱👍🏻👍🏻

Then straight into the Freeze dryer to bring it down to 60% humidity in the bud and then to the curing jars. Week 9 Hi everyone 😁 I am very pleased how girls are developing in recent days. Aroma is very fruity and a bit gasy. Sort of riped mango / pineapple. They are so frosty alraady and buds are developing very well. Was little bit worried that last week defoliation may stunt girls too much but really this strain showing no signs of any stress. The way things are looking these girls may be ready for harvest in about 2 weeks😁 Will keep updating progress of this week every couple days. Girls like this magic mixture very much 😁 21/09 Day 60 Cant belive it's only 2 months since planting seeds. Everything is going well. Thankfully no issues at all. Slow develop girl "Nuna" it's way behind the other 2 girls soon to be ladies "Luna" and "Sweet Mary Jane". but I'm glad that I have kept her as her flowers are small but frosty and she will be perfect for some cannabutter or bubble hash. Other 2 girls as all see they are absolutely gorgeous. Buds are gaining weight and that frost OMG love it. Will get some close up pics of trichomes over the weekend. 23/09 Day 62 Still lots of white pistils and currently trichomes level at 2-5% amber and rest are clear and milky. My personal preference for harvest 60-80% amber so will keep feeding with nutrients for few more days and will keep monitoring trichomes before switching to only water. 24/09 Day 63 End of week 9 Not much work this week. My Skunk Apple Run plant is still a bit young, but I can see those buds starting to form. It's a bit of a slow starter, with buds popping up all over the place instead of a nice even line. We'll see if adjusting the light cycle or its food might help it along. I'll keep you posted on any changes. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️
