Week 8

A few lower leafs have yellows and shriveled but other than that both of the gals are looking good and the smell is finally started to kick in a bit. No problems at all and totally satisfied with there growth in bud size. Looking forward to this week and compare the difference.

Had a hell of a week with Blue Dream 2. In the previous week I had added some molasses to the nutrient solution, 2 of the 3 plants took very well to it. However Blue Dream 2 got a real bad case of root rot. I ended up having to trim up the roots, and do a hard rinse on them. I flushed a bit with Hydrogen Peroxide and then let it soak in a resevoir with nothing but hydroguard for 36 hours. The other two had a small outbreak, but nothing near Blue Dreams 2. All in all a few days later she has recovered. Thats the biggest reason I added the tomato cages, blue dream 2, with weak stems already (got to find a silica supplement next run) she couldn't hold up the buds. After she recovered I just put the cages around all 3. I want to say 2 more weeks, but am still super green to all this, I'll post pics of the buds and tell me what you guys think. Cheers

8th week of flowering. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. After a tip from here, I put all the LED lamps I had in the tent. Doesn't matter how cheap they are. The two light bulbs produce 6500k daylight... And it really bears fruit. The resin production around it is clearly visible. I'm excited. I realize that the trichome photos are a little too early, but I'll test the photo quality.

LoL, a little bit of burning on the edges of the leaves, not too much to worry about Progress looks very good Her bud is growing slowly, but dense I made the feeding with just a bit more than 1 L, about 1.25L the molasses is not measured, i just took the back of a spoon and dipped it, and stirred it into the watering. Do keep in mind that i'm only using about 80 watts of light (cob led).

Lil budds starts to appears everywhere this week :) I made a big defoliation and main lining on those plants I hope great quality smoke at the end. Next week I will start to put Booster in my mixture and up load it to 1.5liters per plant :)

At harvest day I just cut off the stem and let them dry hanging over as complete plant and will trim them afterwards. Smell is killing me, whole house is smelling like haze. Had a lot of work to separate the roots off the soil.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. On February 6th, I transplanted clone into a 7 gallon fabric pot. I put 70 cups of Ocean Forest in, then placed clone (still in pot), in the center of 7 gallon fabric pot, then filled the rest of the pot up with Happy Frog. Before I transplanted, I sprinkled Great White in transplant area.

Lord have mercy on my plant 🙏 After finding some spider mites last week I have released predatory mites. Phytoseiulus persimilis. They came in a bag with leaves and you put those leaves on the canopy. Spray the room with spider mite insecticide. I found no more spider mites and no increase in damage. Until now the damage has been very minimal, compared to pictures I see online. Just a few white spots on a small number of affected leaves. Never saw any webbing, neither on leaves nor buds. Regardless I am treating it like a big infection Oh yeah, it's almost ready, I guess? All I can think about are little spiders. Thanks to everyone for watching, and your tips and advice.

I recently had the opportunity to grow the Toof Decay x Walter White strain from Mephisto Genetics, and it was my first experience with this particular strain. While I'm still in the process of forming a solid opinion, I can share my initial observations. The bud structure of this hybrid strain didn't feel as dense as I had hoped during the trimming process. 😕 However, I was impressed by the beautiful purple hues displayed by the buds. The colors were certainly visually appealing. 💜 Although I haven't had the chance to test it yet, I'm eagerly looking forward to experiencing the effects of Toof Decay x Walter White. 🌬️💨 At this point, I would rate it a 7.5 out of 10. Growing very beautifuly and as intented. I changed the nutrition line to a brand where you feed it Once a week, and rest of the time use Phd Water. Im also adding a secret bloom booster! (Hint: It makes the water purple) More pictures from Week 12 are incoming. I have been busy harvesting my first plant ever(Cream Caramel in my diary) To avoid Caterpillar(Larvae) damage, I remove any fan leaves that has Damage, a larvae or larvae poop/eggs on it(black dots). Fortunally this plant has been much better than my previous one, I used Neem Oil treatment and it seems to work better, also I have fresh Peppermint, Lavender among other plants now in the garden that helps against different kinds of outdoor damage. As a precaution I am massively defoliating the plant, and on my other photoperiod plant, as an experiment I decided to remove big fan leaves of some of main bud sites, the ones I removed fan leaves on, had denser and bigger buds when harvesting. I also tried doing it 50/50 experiment on the plant last week of bloom, and even there I could see a difference in harvest weight. So I might continue with this, depending on how future harvests go. ✌️🏽💚

Very slow growing this week (even thought it was a long one as I was counting days wrong) but i think its entered flowering. Its definitely stretched a whole lot. Side branching is pretty nice on both plants so hopefully it'll be a decent yield considering the pot size. Gonna stick with 10 litre pots now. Adding in more bloom nutes seems to have helped clear up the spots so i'm grateful for that. Gonna keep feed at this level until the biobizz runs out in a week or two. Heat is still an issue as you can see from the leaves taking on the classic taco shape. I still have a small 4 inch inline fan that im not using, would that be better for temps than passive intake? But still, good progress considering it's pushed 40c a couple of times.
