She is looking nice and frosty. A touch nutrient deprived— so I gave some dry amendments. I was out of town this week, but know there were a few very hot days! She’s doing great!

Trying to learn what plants I like to grow the most. This run is a test of each strain I ordered from seedsman. Blueberry is a clone from a seed, As I only had one of these seeds I didnt want to risk flowering it and losing a good pheno, So instead I grew that seed and cloned off of it. Maui Waui is from seed, and looks pretty wonky here, it got a bit out of hand during veg as I didn't have a screen in there. The seed has been vigourous though and I have high hopes for it being the only pure sativa in the bunch, Cheese is a clone taken from my last grow. I cloned it off the seeded plant before they went into flower. My last run with cheese went well with dense buds and good potency. Buttercream gelato is from a seed and has pretty interesting growth. It has been hard to keep nitrogen up in it and pales to lime much quicker than the other plants around it. Buttercream and Maui waui have been vegging for 2 months. Blueberry and chees have been vegging for 6 weeks

Day 56-63 (Day 57) I might have to fix the light to the roof of the tent so I can get another 3 inches up. The ppfd is just too intense at this height. The node stacking is super tight, I’m seeing some droop on almost every plant and the plants just look stunted. I might have to take out the big shelf I just paid 90$ for and raise the light to get the ppfd level down. This happened my last grow as well. It’s a great light for flowering but sucks ass for veg unless it’s hung 5’ above the canopy. I’ve seen videos of others with the same light and they have to fix it to the roof. The dimming function only works with a master controller I don’t have the money for right now. Pulling bbb #2. I’m seeing very small but clear pollen sacks. It’s also drooping like crazy. The roots don’t look as healthy as some of the other males I pulled earlier. They have a slight brown tinge but still mostly white. I wonder if I accidentally gave top dressed it too many times when I mixed them all up a while ago. I’m going to transplant bbb’s #1, #3, #6 & #7 into my 10 gallon destiny/coco pots lightly water. This is kind of a gamble because 2 of them are not showing definitively. Although I’m about 75% sure they’re fems. If not, I got my two backups. (Day 58) I was reading about symptoms of high PH and I definitely have it indicated by the twisted and stunted growth on top. I’m going to try to water in a full gallon at 5.8 and see if I get a good response. I sprayed the pump nozzle directly into the soil after it was empty to put some oxygen into that big 10g pot. The blackberry I gave the lowered PH water too noticeably responded within a few hours. The clawing has pretty much stopped and it now looks like the healthiest plant in the tent. I’m going to see how it responds over the next few days then try it with my other plants if everything looks good. I’m going to try it with bbb #5 in the 1.7g pot and see if it responds in the same way. I ran a gallon of 5.8 water through 1.7g and got less than a 100ml of runoff which is a little surprising. The runoff measured 1750ppms which seems a little on the high side but isn’t insane for peat based soil. (Day 59) Wow. The plants responded to that little PH adjustment insanely well. #5 isn’t dropping at all and the leaf wrinkles are actually flattening out. It’s starting to look like one of the healthiest plants in the tent. I’m still hoping for #5 to show female. 5 plants would cut my veg time down and give me another opportunity for a keeper pheno. All 4 plants are looking like they’ve already recovered from their transplant. #1 in particular was drooping like crazy yesterday and today it’s bounced back and looking happier than ever. I’m seeing a bit of tip droop on a few plants but they still seem fine I wonder if because my soil is 50% coco I should try watering on the acidic side, around 6.0-6.2 from now on. I’m almost certain that solved all the issues I was having. (Day 62) Plants are all looking really healthy. They all seem to have outgrown the initial light stress actually but node stacking is still really tight and I hope to raise the light up next week sometime. I’m going to drop the humidity to 60% for the rest of veg. These pots are massive and I’m still a little worried about dry downs but they aren’t showing any signs of overwatering or lack of oxygen. BBB#3 is starting to show some weird discoloring like an mag or nitrogen deficiency. Which is weird because it’s freshly transplanted into nitrogen rich soil. Guess I will give it a kelp foliar spray. I’ve been looking for a good organic source of K without an absurd amount of magnesium and sulfur like langbeinite has. I found some 0-0-15 kelp/seaweed extract in soluble crystal form. So from time to time I will water that in at half strength or with compost teas to keep my soil K dominant. (Day 63) I’m still waiting on #6 to show sex. I am shocked it hasn’t shown sex yet. Although it was started a week and a half after the others but still. I’m going to be so pissed if it ends up being a male. I’m taking a gamble but I’m confident it will show female when the time comes. bbb#3 got a little more color back from that foliar spray. Hope that doesn’t get worse because it’s my favorite pheno so far. I will give a N boost in the form of compost tea tomorrow afternoon to both of my tents. I’m starting to utilize the scrog net and boy does it make training way easier. This seems to be a much smarter style of growing for yield and quality. I’m getting tired of these pH fluctuations every time I water. I’ve been eyeballing for the most part and I need a consistent formula. I found the perfect mix to stabilize my RO water and stabilize the pH at 6.2. I moistened the top soil of each plant and will watch for any reactions. Water recipe: 60ml bottled water 2000ml RO water 3ml calmag 2ml microbes

It’s Friday, blue skies but a chill petrols the outdoors, amazing how in my car the sun burns and outdoors it hardly keeps me warm when the wind gusts. I am impressed with the amount of growth once again, she continues surprising me, unlike Unknown. I will be using the main brunch as rott that sprout a pair of trees at each nod, I hope she compiles before she goes into flowering, speaking of which, when I watch a lot of the informative videos about MariJane, a lot of growers switch lighting to kick start flowering, I think we here in South Africa we do have people who practice that act, but I feel a lot of us here in South Africa allow the plant to live out all it’s phases, to ensure quality. A lot of people are outdoor growers in our 9months of grow season, winter you can grow, you will only get indica heights whether sativa or hybrid. I cannot wait to showcase this tree when it’s in her last weeks of flowering, I myself will not believe the vision was achieved, growing weed is boring when the tree is in vegetation, not to mention I might encounter some male plants.

It's harvest time for Pineapple too. This little one has grown very quickly since the beginning, living up to her name and surpassing all the others born with her in height. She caused no problems, completely indifferent to everything going on around her. Beautiful to look at and wonderful to smell, completely covered in trichomes. It's like smelling a pineapple! So fresh, so tropical!

Another week gone. The smell is extremely strong now, even with the carbon filter. Buds are huge and very dense. Should be a nice harvest! Probably about 2-3 weeks left now 😎

Saturday, 05.03.2022 Girls graduation! Bwoy Shabba, world of girls, In container loads! (Shabba Ranks, 1991) I wish you could hear this song playing as you read this post to get the feeling I am feeling. Culled plant with strong male characteristics (#3). Left with 3 plants showing pistils, #s1, 4 and 5 😁. #2 was the largest and best looking of the plants but 'a soh it goh' 😉. All plants recovering well from recent phytotoxicity. Fed twice in past week with 12 ml/gallon CAB. Plants show no ill effects to Cytokin treatment and seem to like it. Have to move ties daily to accommodate growth. Signs of leafminers on a few leaves. Sunday, 06.03.2022 A little rain fell Saturday afternoon but pots not overly moist. Fed with Recharge at 5 ml/gallon and remainder of Ph'd water. Ph measurement via Ph paper was still hot, 5.0~, so I repeated same method of adding 500 ml tap water to jug and topping up with acidified water, following the principle of adding acid to water and not vice versa 😉.

The 4th week of 12/12 went without any issues. Flowering is going on nicely and lots of white pistels are filling up the canopy. They still grew a little but the biggest stretch is over. This week the Runtz were fed once (ph 6,4 – ec 1,63) and on other days I gave ph adjusted tapwater (ph 6,4 – ec 0,5) or nothing if the airpots were still moist enough. Next week I'll start giving them some pk 13/14 for extra phosphorus and potassium and Remo nutrients Magnifical for some more calcium & magnesium. I've noticed that the left and right Runtz have a bit less green in their leafs and I think overwatering is the issue. Gonna give these ones less water and I'll see what the Magnifical will do. Temperatures stayed between 19 – 24 °C ( 66 – 75 °F) and humidity between 46 – 59 % I've raised the power of the airfan from 40% to 55% to lower humidity levels and next week a dehumidifier will enter the grow tent to lower levels even more. Gave some extra grow B in this week as it is higher in P and K and will act as a small PK boost for the stretch that is to come. Flipped my plants to flower as well so they are now on a 12/12 setting. Been using the medic grows mini sun 2's internal timer in the lights and they appear to be working just fine. They have pre-programmed setting of 12/16/18/20/22 "on" cycles, I thought it might have been hold the dial till the number you want came up but its not that fancy. As of now my photoperiod is from 1:30pm-1:30am but I might move this up to 12pm-12am so when I need to look at my plants I'm not waiting till the afternoon. Its really only an issue on the days I'm working. over all happy with the progress, Plants are drinking lots so I'm happy with that. Lights still running at 80% with V1 spectrum, will increase to 100% after stretch, don't need to growing into them and burning up. Que pasa familia, de nuevo vemos el avance de nuestras northern light xL, es una genética bastante ramificada, a diferencia de las Lemon, estás si escupen brazos laterales a la altura del central. Flores compactas vemos cómo los productos de advanced nutrients cumplen sus funciones. Es una genética que si pide bastante comida a diferencia de las demás. 50% de maximas en humedad y 28 grados de maxima en la temperatura.

Week 10 for Amnesia Zkittlez by fastbuds She was looking very skinny last week, has definitely been doing some bulking in the flower department😍 She handled the high temps okay.. only leaf burn in 1 or 2 leaves. She's coming closer to the end hopefully be done in a week or 2...? Loving her flower colours! Pictures do no justice compared to in person 😅
