Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. Week 12: June 14 2020 - June 20 2020 Topped Blue Dream and Purple Kush for the second time on Thursday (June 18). New growths are starting to pop through the canopy of Girl Scout Cookies. Low nutes schedule, watering each 2 days, 35ºC today..... alternating water with top candy and nutes. Broke my PH meter :(

The plant is ripening, leaves are turning yellow and harvest day is coming closer. Until now, I can not really say, that this strain is a " lemon Cherry Cookie ". Unfortunately I can not say, that I smell cherry, lemon or cookies. I have had other strains, which were definitely more on the lemon side or cherry, which I did not make a diary a out. Sometimes, she smells very sweet, a bit like over ripened fruit. A positive thing: her buds are really beautiful. The colour is really nice and she is not a hungry plant. Until now , I could not see any signs of mold, even though the weather is not that optimal. If you have space on your balcony and you like to see some purple bud, you could give this a try. If your liking for extraordinary terpenes, I would choose a different strain . I'm waiting for harvest, to look out for how much she will hit, on grams and effect.

At the end of week she is doing well. The stigmas are fully puffed and the bracts are swelling up. The Afghan #1 has ceased growing. All her energy is being used to flower plus her leaves are beginning to fade. She has a sweet and fruity aroma emanating from her. The Afghan #1 stands at 76cm ta

I really like this strain! This was by far the biggest and frostiest plant I have ever grown. Most of the buds are hard indica style but a few branches grew more like sativa all buds coated in trichs. It took me 2 days to get this monster down. The picture of my hanging buds doesnt do it justice. I probably got a pound but not sure. I'll post dry weight and a smoke report in a few weeks.

Day 20 of Flower Flowers already nice and frosty. Last of the Bat guano. Going to use Biocanna BioFlores. Going to hit her with 8ml/l and then 4ml/l after that. Very faint discoloring on a couple of leaves.

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
