Ok so far we have managed to save 2 plants from the dreaded hermie, both are doing really well I’m satisfied that they are ok. Ph runoff is 5.8, feeding 5.8 so no buffering in the coco, no salts buildup. I have more than a feeling that the hermie problem was my fault. Ph pen was out of calibration. By a lot. They were being fed somewhere in the vicinity of ph 2.5-3 daily for about a week, I should have realised when ph lower started increasing but didn’t. We learnt the hard way. Have ordered a Vivosun aerolush c08 to help with the higher temps we are experiencing hopefully it will do the job of the current portable air conditioner and dehumidifier and we can get that temp down to a max of 24 to help with everything that has not appeared yet like the trichomes. They look so lonely in that big tent but I have more than enough room now to have a seat and take some time to inspect

Day one of week 7! Saturday 3rd Oct. Yay I made it to week 7!! First week of flower! Flipped the lights and the girls are getting their first 12 hours of darkness as I type. As soon as it’s lights go on I’m gonna get the next lot of nutes in as they seemed almost ready for a feed when I put them to bed. Getting a little nervous the temps are a still bit high as we go into flower but these girls seem hardy so staying positive! UPDATE: Day 2 of week 7, Sunday 4th Oct. Girls still looking strong and nutes gone in again today. Got a fan blowing onto the outside of my tent (which is helping lots) as the slightly lower humidity levels are really heating things up with the dehumidifier working harder inside the tent now, especially around watering time. Fan at full whack, if this doesn’t work I may have to get an intake fan but was trying to avoid extra costs. Keeping a close eye 👁️ UPDATE: Tuesday 6th October Day 4 of week 7 Nutes in again and a little more teasing with the LST to keep the girls low on the stretch. Think I found a little white hair 🤩🤩 (see pics).... It’s getting exciting.. 🤓 UPDATE: Thursday 8th October Day 6 of week 7 Ok great news today.. All four ladies have some pretty little pistils all over various bud sites and no hermies in sight! Phew! 😅 Nutes going in too 👌🏼 Happy growing and all that jazz! 🍃🍁👌🏼❤️

So today’s the day I did my first weed harvest. Never thought I could feel such emotions over a plant but I’ve spent a lot of time with her over the last few months. Hopefully I’ve done her proud. I planned on doing a dry trim so I took off all the bigger fan leaves to start. I noticed a lot of the fan leaves had some trichs around the base so I kept these. I don’t know if you would class them as sugar leaves but I am going to try and make some tea from them. In my drying cabinet the average rh% is about 75 so I’m running a small dehumidifier which is bringing it down to about 65% which I think is a bit above the ideal. It’s been hot today and temp in cabinet is around 25 degrees C but due to be cooler from tomorrow. Anyway I’m off for a cup of tea, I will update with effects and dry weights over the next few days. Update** So eddy 2 has been drying for 8 days, and she’s now trimmed and in jars. To be honest I found her a pain in the ass to trim there was a lot of long spindly buds (I would say airy) so the trim pile is pretty big with a mix of sugar leaves and airy buds. It’s not a problem as I’m definitely going to make some edibles so it’s all good for that. I’m still really pleased with the amount I got off of her and if her sister produces the same I will be over the moon! Eddy 2 weights (harvest day 82) Wet - 623g Dry Buds - bang on 100g Dry trim - 51g Eddy 1 weights (harvested day 97) Wet - 496g Smoke Report; Full disclosure I haven’t smoked weed for 20 years and even when I did it was only now and again at parties. I also don’t smoke. I’ve had anxiety and depression since I was a kid and I’ve been on all sorts of pills to try and help it. After doing some research on CBD and THC I thought I would give it a go! I’m also looking to cut down my alcohol intake and I’m really hoping this is a new way to relax and get that buzz on a Friday/Saturday night. I don’t want to smoke it so I’m going to get a dry herb vape I’m just waiting for it to be delivered. So here goes: The tea was a bust! Well unless you like lemony butter water. I don’t think there was anywhere near enough of the good stuff as I didn’t feel a thing. Still no vape so I bought a cheap bong. FML I think I coughed up a lung 😂😂 definitely got a buzz but I couldn’t enjoy it as my fucking throat was on fire for hours! STILL no vape so I made one. And that’s more like it. Tasty cool vapour and a nice relaxing buzz after. I didn’t have too much (about 3 hits) as I know I’m a lightweight. For the first 30 minutes or so I was light headed and happy (like after your first couple beers after a long day). Then I felt my body physically relaxing and I just chilled on the sofa for a couple hours watching tv. I went straight to sleep when I got to bed (which never happens) and I had a great nights sleep. Only downside was a headache in the morning but could put that down to many things and it was gone after a coffee

Still growing strong actively. In particular Ryu developed lots of newly freshly white pistils but also the lower bud sites started to grow significantly. Fingers crossed that this will grow smoothly towards the end. The emergency harvested branches were ok but way to soon of course. At the same time they haven’t been very big either so I guess the impact on final harvest won’t be as big/maybe even beneficial as for air flow, nutrient supply etc for the rest of the branches. Also those I harvested have been excluded by my counting so far as I haven’t seen them since they were too low. There’s another one such candidate who might have to be emergency harvested as well but he’ll have a full more week and also he is heavily coated in sugar already. Let me know in the comments how well you can see the sugar coating, especially the lower bud sites sometimes have an excessive coating. Would be interesting to know whether this has anything to do with lower bud sites doing something that it makes them sugar up more. Or maybe it’s the light that is different in these darker areas The image quality in the video for some reason is much better often than in the photos. I don’t get why the iPhone isn’t just doing what it does in video mode in photo mode as well. Update: The overall coloring is slowly transitioning from white to Orange on those Buds. I can now see the end of the tunnel. Buds are also swelling nicely. And oh the chomes! 🥦🍆

🌱 Sour Diesel — Week 8 (Flower Week 3) — Strategic Reset Week ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — Where We Are • Genetics: Sour Diesel • Timeline: Week 8 from seed • Flowering: Week 3 • Height: ~60–70 cm (compact structure) • Room Temp: 28°C • RH: 65% • Feed EC: 2.9 • pH: 6.5 (kept above 6.0 intentionally) • Lighting: LED • Action this week: Strategic defoliation This plant is not tall — she’s compact, dense, and structurally tight. Which means airflow and internal light penetration become critical early. And that’s exactly why this week mattered. ⸻ 🍃 The Defoliation — Not Aesthetic. Architectural. This was not cosmetic trimming. It was: • Removing large fan leaves blocking interior bud sites • Cleaning inner congestion • Opening airflow channels • Resetting light distribution across the canopy • Helping the entire room environment (not just this plant) The room needed air — this plant was advanced enough to handle stress. That’s key. Week 3 of flower is the transition window: • Stretch is slowing • Bud sites are set • Energy shifts toward stacking At this stage, a strategic defoliation: • Improves transpiration efficiency • Reduces microclimate humidity pockets • Prevents internal leaf-to-leaf condensation • Encourages bud site activation below the top canopy This was structural architecture. Not haircut vanity. ⸻ 🌡️ 28°C in Flower — “Too Hot?” Let’s Go Deep. People panic when they hear 28°C in flower. But here’s where most growers confuse: 🔥 HPS vs LED Heat Behavior Under HPS: • Radiant heat warms leaf surfaces directly • Leaf temperature often equals or exceeds room temp • 28°C air under HPS can mean 30–32°C leaf temp • That pushes VPD dangerously high Under LED: • Less infrared radiation • Leaf surface temp is typically 1–3°C LOWER than room temp • So at 28°C room temp, leaf temp might be 25–26°C And VPD calculations depend on leaf temperature, not air temperature. ⸻ 🌿 What Is Leaf VPD? VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures the difference between: • Moisture inside the leaf • Moisture in the surrounding air But if you calculate VPD using only room temp, you’re missing the real transpiration dynamics. With: • 28°C air • ~25–26°C leaf surface (LED) • 65% RH Leaf VPD sits in a very workable mid-flower zone. Not extreme. Not stress-inducing. Not shutdown territory. We’re driving metabolism, not cooking terpenes. ⸻ 💧 Why 65% RH Isn’t Dangerous Here Context matters: • Good airflow • Opened canopy • Compact but cleaned structure • Early-mid flower (Week 3, not Week 7) At this stage: • Pistils are forming • Bud density is still moderate • Transpiration is active High humidity becomes dangerous when: • Bud mass is dense • Internal airflow is poor • Late flower resin traps moisture We’re not there yet. And we just improved airflow with defoliation. ⸻ ⚡ EC 2.9 — Aggressive but Intentional That EC is strong. But: • Plant is compact, not oversized • Sour Diesel can eat • pH 6.5 keeps availability wide (Ca, Mg, P balance) The key will be: • Watching leaf tips • Monitoring runoff behavior • Watching for clawing or salt stress Right now, if she’s praying and stacking, she’s handling it. ⸻ 🔍 What To Expect Next Week (Flower Week 4) After defoliation: You may see: • Slight pause (24–72 hours) • Increased vertical bud push • Better lower-site activation • More defined pistil clustering • Stronger apical dominance response If recovery is clean: • Buds begin early stacking phase • Internodes tighten • Resin production initiates at bract level If stress appears: • Slight leaf droop • Tip burn acceleration • Reduced upward leaf angle But based on structure and timing — this looks calculated, not reactive. ⸻ 🧠 Why This Week Matters Long-Term This week determines: • Airflow pattern for late flower • Mold resistance later • Bud density uniformity • Final trim efficiency • Light-to-bud conversion efficiency This wasn’t about now. Week 9 flowering

Also erste Blütewoche ist um die pflanzen wachsen wie verrückt und was hab ich entdeckt Thripse also direkt Raubmilben drin verteilt , und Manuel so viele wie möglich beseitigt. Und die Woche mal eine kleine Nährstoff Zugabe gemacht eine Honig shilajit Mischung und ein Kiwi Bananen Ferment mit zusätzlichen micoriza und beneficial bacterien. Die Somango ist krass am dominieren und lässt die Gipsy haze richtig mikrig aussehen . Zustand der Pflanzen ist bisher ohne dünger Zugabe oder Ph vom Wasser einstellen.

Weeks 6-7-8 should probably have been better controlled. I'll definitely control the heights better for the next grow. I didn't defoliate, top nor supercrop. I'll do that for the next grow.

23.07. Blue Sunset Sherbet Day 85# The plant was at the end of its twelfth week yesterday. This morning I found it lying in the grass again... I fed it this morning, but the next feeding definitely increases the dose of TNT and I will repeat the cal-mag a little lower than today. The heat has started again fiercely… Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

Last week for those beauty's with amazing smell! I can wait to smoke some 🙏 they didnt get any nutritions for last two watering... Just balanced down do 6.6 ph 3.4. This round i have problems with my plants in both tents... I would say same problems. If someone read this :) do you have any ideas here?

Coming along nicely. Large number of bud sites, starting to grow but still far from mature. Nice aroma every time I open the tent. Starting to become a bit frosty.

I’m actually Super happy they sprouted on the 1st it just makes keeping track of what day your on so much smoother l think, but I think one was having a hard time getting the shell Off so I helped just I tiny bit!

Auto Moon Rock on the Rise 🚀🌿 Week 3 with my Auto Moon Rock is here and she’s looking great! On day 14, I topped her, which you can see in the video and pics — already shaping nicely. This week she gets her first feeding along with a dose of compost tea to boost soil microbes. I’m gently applying some Low Stress Training to keep her growth even and healthy. She handled the transplant into a 19L fabric pot with BioBizz Light Mix, mycorrhiza, and worm compost really well — no signs of stress. First pre-flower signs showed up today — she seems eager to get going! Loving how she’s shaping up so far and excited for the weeks ahead. Care this week: 🔸 Topped on day 14 🔸 Started gentle LST with clips 🔸 Transplanted into 19L fabric pot with BioBizz Light Mix, mycorrhiza & worm compost 🔸 First feeding with BioBizz Grow planned 🔸 Compost tea added for soil health 🔸 pH steady at 6.5 🔸 EC around 900 µS 🔸 First pre-flower signs visible – looking good! Hello Diary, The third week of vegetation has ended, which is also the beginning of flowering. As you can see in the photos, Milky Way has started to form flowers which is normal for automatics after 3 weeks of vegetation. Milky Way is developing nicely, it grew about 10 cm in a week and got a lot of new leaves. The bright spots that were on some of the leaves have disappeared, which is good news. I started to feel a slight smell, which also makes me happy :). This week I also did minimal defoliation, I removed only the lowest leaves to make it easier to water and improve the air flow through the plant itself. When it comes to watering, it is not frequent, about every 4 days. This week I added one tablet of Easy Grow Booster. The conditions on the farm are excellent I would say, the temperature is around 26 degrees while the humidity is around 50%. Here's how it looked this week. 16/05/2023 - Day 17. Watering. I prepared 7 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 and dissolved one Easy Grow tablet and with that amount of water I watered all three plants equally. 19/05/2023 - Day 20. First, I did a minimal defoliation, removing only the bottom leaves to make watering easier and improve air flow through the plant a bit. After that I watered all three plants. 20/05/2023 - Day 21.
