Hello smokers and growers, taking a look here at the Banana Blaze by Dutch Passion in its 4th week of flowering. She looks clean, happy and healthy. Slowly starting to stack up those bud sites. The rubbing the stems gives off a banana cream terps, it’s a very delicate smell and mouthwatering too. Maybe she could use a light defoliation but really just doesn’t seem necessary.

1/28/24 - Day 83 - Here we are on day 83 and the trichomes are looking good. I bet one week, if not two weeks before I start to flush with water. There are some photos of the Trichomes a couple of weeks ago and then again today. 1/31/24 - Day 86 - The buds are starting to get FAT and grow outward. Tons of new buds coming from the buds. Sounds werid but the buds are growing buds now. The smell is out of this planet strong. Im looking forward to the next couple of weeks!

Not going to say I expected more as I did but I can also say wow they’re doing amazing and forming big ole buds! And the aromas are crazy coming from all of them! And I have NEWSSSSSS… so mystery revealed! On 2 big ones solo still forming! But bottom left is FASTBUDS purple punch and top left is FASTBUDS forbidden runtz and I’m so glad of it as I wanted them to be the fastbuds to get another finish or a better one on these and it seems I may not with the forbidden runtz but I will with the purple punch! My next run I will hold back as best as I can to do nothing but open them up and not defoliate or trim one set and visa versa on the others back to back to see the difference alongside each other! Be great too as I have more fastbuds to run and new Zamnesia to do on this so will be equal in timing! Plus I get to do some solos so will be a great grow!

First grow since 2020, with around 250 grams for an outdoor which has kept me going as I'm not a big smoker. No option for outdoor this year so with summer coming to an end indoor it will be in my tin garden shed. Bit of a heat wave this week but likely to cool down by the time I plant. Then just hoping the weather gods are nice for the next 4 months. Not too hot. Not too cold...just right🙄 Soaked seeds last night and now in paper towels. Planning on 5 plants anyhow, will veg for 4 weeks and flower for 9 to 10 or whenever ready. Hoping to harvest early winter before it gets really cold. Coco coir perlite mix this time and using the whole Mills range. Should be fun anyhow. Not expecting the same rewards of my last outdoor, but anything over 100 grams I'll be happy with. Anyhow, as far as germination goes I have 5 seeds to play with. In a glass of water for 8 hours, then paper towel in a zip lock bag in a warm location, including my pocket and next to me sleeping. Within 24 hours 3 of the 5 had germinated. I have doubts that 1 of the 2 remaining will germinate at all as it's a small mongrel seed but who knows. Update...all seeds germinated even the last mongrel seed. I like keeping em warm, in bed with me, in my pocket when cold and not in bed. The last seed that I didn't think had a chance from the start popped 2 days after the rest, after I put the zip lock bag with the paper towel in my pocket for a couple of hours. 100% ain't bad that's for sure. Every time I grow I do the same thing, no u may not see this method recommended but it works for me. Last few grows I've germinated them in my underwear, while wearing of course. Nice and warm thats for sure, maybe its the fluctuation 🤣 Go on, do a google search on the underwear germination method, doubt any hits will be found 🤣

This was my second grow and i was going with the Velvet Moon and Francos Lemon Cheese from Greenhouse Genetics. Both performed pretty well. One of the Francos is HUGE as fuck. the other two are smaller. One of them sadly i think got some stun in Week 4 of Veg. Dont know what was going wrong. Cause she still looked very healthy. Besides that, the Velvet are very fine, and didnt get like thick stamps. You have to support it a little at the end of Flowering. Cause the Buds gotten pretty Big. Both Genetics are sticky as fuck and grow MUCH faster than Greenhouse said. Most of the Trichomes are already milky a lot of Amber ones are their too. I think mid of week 8 i can go for the Harvest.

Not much to report really, everything is in order and on track✅ The tallest plant has grown 16cm end of week 2 so 1 last week of potential stretch at that rate or hopefully less and it should all remain manageable 🤞 Facing some heat issues but it doesn't seem to be stressing my ladies they are loving life right now 🌞 Its been 25celcius here last few days and that translated to 28celcius in the tent🌡️ Gonna steal a few leaves here and there this week but nothing major, I'm happy enough with the canopy and its bud-sites 👌 Buds are developing nicely, hopefully I'll still get some dense nugs even though they are only wearing 6L shoes 👠 In the end though my main goal is clean and tasty smoke and ive been getting some nice fruity smells from the stem rub, especially the Zorro x Zkittlez #1 I'm getting a lot of lemon and lime from her 🍋🍇⛽ As for clean that's on me, in the great debate of flushing I'm all for it. Very good week hopefully will start packing on the buds soon, giving bio bizz bloom now. Defoliating a lot and the seems to be working well, watering everything 3-4 days. Daytime temp going from 20-26 and dropping from that to 19 at lights out

Wochenupdate – Tag 91 | Blüte Tag 31 🌱 Allgemeiner Eindruck Der Grow läuft insgesamt noch stabil, aber man sieht inzwischen recht deutlich, dass die Pflanzen in den letzten Tagen am Limit gefahren sind. Der Blütenaufbau geht weiter voran, der Geruch wird intensiver und die Kush zeigt ordentlich Harz, gleichzeitig zeigen beide Pflanzen sichtbare Calcium- und allgemeine Nährstofftransportprobleme, die klar auf das Klima zurückzuführen sind. Das war für die Blümchen spürbar Stress. 🌡️ Klima & VPD Durch trockene Winter- und Heizungsluft kam es zeitweise zu sehr hohen VPD-Werten (teils im Bereich 1,7–1,9), vor allem morgens – klassisch morgens Sahara, mittags Treibhaus. In dieser Phase stand mein Luftbefeuchter noch bei einer anderen Pflanze. Er ist inzwischen wieder im Blütezelt, wodurch sich das Klima deutlich beruhigt hat. Die aktuellen Symptome zeigen gut, dass der Nährstoff- und Calciumtransport unter dem hohen VPD schlicht eingebrochen war. Nährstoffe & Maßnahmen CalMag wurde ordentlich erhöht, um die Calcium-Verfügbarkeit abzusichern. Zusätzlich wurden Mikroben gegeben, um das System wieder besser ins Arbeiten zu bringen. Bio-Bloom wurde ganz dezent nachgeschoben. Durch das ungünstige VPD haben die Pflanzen zeitweise nicht sauber getrunken, was den Transport zusätzlich ausgebremst hat. Seit der Entlaubung an BT21 ist der Wasserverbrauch sowieso etwas geringer. Jetzt heißt es: abwarten, wirken lassen, Geduld üben 🐛 Schädlingslage Trauermücken gehen dank Nematoden langsam zurück. Trips sind weiterhin präsent, daher gab es nochmals Raubmilben sowie Florfliegenlarven zur Regulierung. ✅ Fazit Insgesamt bin ich weiter zuversichtlich. Der Stretch ist eingefangen, die Richtung stimmt, auch wenn das Klima kurz deutlich zu hart war. Jetzt geht es darum, das Setup stabil zu halten und den Pflanzen Zeit zu geben, sich wieder sauber einzupendeln. Draußen Winter, drinnen Blüte. Allen eine gute Woche. 🌱 RockoCalenberg Weekly Update – Day 91 | Flower Day 31 🌱 Overall Impression Overall the grow is still running stable, but it’s now quite clear that the plants have been pushed close to their limit over the last days. Bud development is progressing, the smell keeps getting stronger and the Kush is showing plenty of resin. At the same time, both plants show visible calcium and general nutrient transport issues, clearly linked to the climate. This phase definitely caused some stress. 🌡️ Climate & VPD Due to dry winter air and heating, VPD levels were temporarily very high (partly around 1.7–1.9), especially in the mornings – classic Sahara in the morning, greenhouse at noon. During that time, the humidifier was still running with another plant. It has since been moved back into the flower tent, which helped calm and stabilize the climate again. The current symptoms clearly show that nutrient and calcium transport was simply maxed out under those high VPD conditions – this wasn’t just isolated spots, but visible overall. Nutrients & Actions CalMag was increased properly to secure calcium availability. In addition, microbes were applied to help the system get back into balance. Bio-Bloom was topped up very lightly. Because of the unfavorable VPD, the plants were not drinking cleanly at times, which further limited nutrient transport. Since the defoliation at FD21, overall water uptake has been slightly lower and is being taken into account. For now it’s about waiting and letting things work, without further interventions. 🐛 Pest Situation Fungus gnats are slowly declining thanks to nematodes. Thrips are still present, so another round of predatory mites was added, along with lacewing larvae for additional control. ✅ Conclusion Overall I’m still confident. Stretch is under control and the direction is right, even though the climate was clearly too harsh for a short period. Ci sono più di trenta gradi di temperatura ormai e la notte la temperatura non è più fresca. Poco da dire su queste varietà impeccabili e bellissime e molto abbondanti. Ogni varietà autofiorente della dutchfemseeds è una vera soddisfazione, continuano a riempirsi tutte di infiorescenze appiccicose e profumate e alcune colorate. Continuano a produrre resina e le infiorescenze si stanno gonfiando e indurendo molto. Alcune superano il metro e cinquanta centimetri di altezza, la maggioranza sono più di un metro e molto diramate e piene di infiorescenze. Se continuano così tra un paio di settimane iniziamo a raccogliere le più mature! Resistono molto agli afidi infatti sono meno presenti visto che la resina appiccicosa inizia a dare fastidio a tutti i parassiti quindi è un bene! Un abbraccio a tutti forza Dutchfem
