Some of the basics are coming together. Lights have been gradually raised by 5-10% every day except the last 2 days. By the end of week 2 flower they will be 100% and will stay there until last week of flower. Temp is 80 degrees, humidity is 60% and will also stay that way until the last 10 days of flower. I will go another week of tucking branches under the net to try and let the last plant reach the net. It’s just not stretching like the others. I need at least a week of stretch with vertical growth, so my smallest plant needs to catch up. There has to be 300+ tops in this 4x12 area. Every single node was topped 7-10 days before flower. Each branch has multiple nodes now. Between day 14-25 everything under the net will be removed. Clones were taken of every plant for a hopeful keeper pheno. Gonna try the whole “mother plant full clone run” for the next grow. By the end of week 2 parameters will be 1500ppm co2 1200-1500 ppfd 80 degrees 60% humidity Thanks for all the support and see you next week.

1 moth passed from germination. In result we have 12 strong plants and 4 reduced. They begin presenting wonderful scent! Increased my led on 40 % of power and it seems great. Buen fin de semana a todos !

Day 10: They have been growing nicely. Beautifull green leafs, no deficiencies or stress. I did some Defoliation and I'm planning to top some plants but not all of them since they make nice main colas as well. Also nice roots so far, will let those grow for another 1-3 days before repotting them into 7L pots. While doing that I will add some new clay for beneeth the pots to have a good run-off. I will add some mycorizza as well to improve the roots and I will water them again with lots of Regulator(anti-stress) and Rhyzotonic( root stimilator). Some days after that, they are ready to get pushed into flowering. Sativas like to grow twice and sometimes even more in size. So the size which they are at the end of this week will be enough. So at the end of this week you will see them being in 7L pots and in a bigger grow space under lots of lamps. There are like 3-5 plants not growing nicely. Might have to kill them. I'm not going to waste time,energy,nutrients on those if they don't grow in size in a couple of days. So might end up with just 235 plants. Il update again at the end of this week. Day 14: I almost finished the rest of the grow room. I still need to adjust and replace the lamps some more and other things. Did many defoliation below the plants. Thoose branches are never going to preduce nice and thick buds anyways. Such a waste of energy and nutrients. Because of the removing of branches and leafs, They get a better airflow and better exposure of light as well. So for now they look a little bit ugly haha and not so bushy anymore, but they will grow into fine looking ladies. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant and some bigger plants I even topped because I don't want them to stretch alot. Another reason is that I want bigger stems. If other plants that didnt get topped, not improving stems I can still top them until the end of week 1 of flowering. I'm putting them into flowering, by putting the lightschedule to 12hours of light and darkness. It will take a few days before they start preflowering. The first buds will be seen in like 10-14 days. WEEK 9A This week, not much really happened. I'm always waiting to have enough space for repotting. Other than that, the two are making a very good impression. They're getting a bit too much light at the moment, but I'm trying to keep it under control.

Hello everyone, I just finished setting up the 150x150x200cm tent and as you know it takes time to tie the wires to the poles. The 2 amnesia plants by expert seeds are on schedule and will flip one to flower within 5 days from now, i need to see roots coming out of the bottom of the pot before going into flower. The amnesia fast by advanced seeds is also doing great taking in mind she is only 5 weeks old, she will go into flower next week. The mac1 by expert seeds sits in a dwc bucket but she is doing terrible from the moment she sprouted 5 weeks ago, i have an amnesia clone from expert seeds to replace her. In the other dwc system sits a clone of the amnesia fast and the roots are developing. Thank you for reading my diary and have a nice day.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Alright guys today is day 18 and she is off to an amazing start.. she got her first feeding yesterday with very little of silica , cal mag and Maxibloom.. I gave her her first soaking yesterday when I topped her and removed the lower branches up to the 3 finger leaf.. i'm hoping for big things with this grow, and i'm very excited to use Plagron mid flower.. thanks to Zamnesia Seeds and Plagron for putting this contest together, it is much appreciated by and i'm sure many others.. Just wanted everyone to know that i'm using .2 tsp of maxibloom with the 2ml of silica and 2 ml of cal mag as of this week, but for some reason, grow diaries doesn't recognize general hydroponics as a company or any of their products.The maxi bloom and silica I use are both general hydroponics and when I add them as custom, everything is good until I go to save and then it comes up not showing the maxibloom SMH .. Just wanted to throw this in here, so everyone knows exactly what this girl is getting.. These three nutrients is all.She will be getting up until about the fourth week of flower.. Until then, I will increase the dose on everything slightly every feeding until we reach that fourth week of flower, and then out comes the Plagron which I hope works out great for the plant

Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14). This week things really seemed to take off! 🔥 Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1” per day if not more. Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on. The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! 💯 It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either. Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3! Day by day break down: Day 8 Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites Day 9 Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136 Day 10 Plants look great. Let them do their thing. Day 12 Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264 Day 14 sitting at 29” tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue. Thinking they might be around 35-40” tall at the max. Stay tuned for next weeks post to see how much these ladies have thickened up!

Gave her some preflower food and more mycorrhizae. She's stretching like crazy 🤣 I'm loving the smell all ready. Smelling lemon and fruits. Gave her some low stress training and at the end of the week.

Trichromes are starting to be produced and buds are starting to form and get sticky, each plant is developing a nice smell but the strawberry is out performing the rest by a mile definitely a vigorous strain that just wants to go go go! Inter node spacing is crazy and looks like the girls are setting up to make some fat buds hopefully

This is also done at end of week 2. I believe it kickstarts the flower phase and continues stalled growth that can happen at end of week 5 going into week 6. This week I am starting to see all around growth come to an end. I’ve implemented a trick over the last couple years that seems to work well. Along with the swell that takes place the last few weeks of flower we are gonna try and boost flower production a bit as well 😁. Thanks for all the likes and especially the comments. End of another week and dang are these girls going! The alfalfa Ferment is definitely doing work down in that rhizosphere. It's pretty amazing how well this Ferment does for veging cannabis. I seriously cut my veg time down by almost half when I use it! That's the main objective right there, to be able to continuously flip into flower right after harvesting, and we're basically their now that we have everything dialed in. These girls will be getting synthetics next week. We're going to start them on a light feed of Athena blended then go from there. Thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week.

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.

Aug 17: gotta love big fast plants. This is a nice big plant and the buds are forming very quickly. Added a scrog net layer because I realized the buds are getting heavy already and will likely want more support. These loosely placed Scrog nets are working great and they make it easy to expose buds while tucking fan leaves out of the way. Honestly, I can hardly believe how fast these buds are maturing. Very impressed. Aug 18: another cool and slightly rainy day but at least it’s not so smoky. This new normal of ‘which town is gonna get burned this year?’ Is not fun at all. This year is was a third of the town of Jasper which is inside a national park. Aug 21: this plant is awesome with really big buds forming quite quickly. The buds are starting to put on weight and the UV light is definitely helping to produce trichomes. 👍👍 I love this plant. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Everything is going well this week. Although two of the seedlings had trouble getting out of their seeds. One did manage to get out on its own but I had to help another one. Because of this two plants are a little bit behind. Just feeding with a good dose of rain water I've upped the amount to about half a liter per day per plant.

She has been Transplanted on November 10th to her new 15l home, she's gonna be such a beautiful amnesia pro plant, love this strain, the shape pf the leafs is just so beautiful.
