Well hello there 👋 thanks for stopping by and joining this journey of my White Widow grow! 💯 So to begin the week I was thinking....should I screw with this lovely girl or shouldn't I....?!?!?! Weeelllllllllll..... I just could not resist and dove right in lmao!!! Now in the new pictures for the week I really hope I've done my research and try and look for documentation about "LEAF LINING" and I am pretty sure there has been no terminology about it so I'm sure there will be critics and I look forward to your knowledge towards this training method for similarities....💯 MOVING ON 🤦‍♂️ Alright here we go.... so the beginning of the week I measured her at 8inchs. She grew a good 2.5 inches in 5 days so I had to top this girl because of height issues in the tent. I ultimately feel this was the absolute best thing for my height and the plant! 💯 and I 100% do not want to kick her early!!!! Now she's grown an 1inch since topping her 2 days ago and the prizes inside are flourishing and are growing like wild fire 🔥 🔥🔥 What until you see them 🤯 So what I have done to the inside this week is what I like to call "LEAF LINING" I basically pin the shoots created by the fan leaves to the actual fan leaf itself!!!! I know right 🤯 This has proven to be very effective which you can see the length of the shoots themselves. (some are 3.5inchs long) The stock of the fan leaves provide a straight path for growth outward! Its truly fascinating! (PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS HAS TERMINOLOGY OR NOT) Ok so I have introduced a new idea to the grow! Adding a Ring of 4 rows of wire that are attached in a circle to the top of the self-wick pot. I have fastened it using Zip ties as I did for the "LEAF LINING" 👈🤪 This was introduced for when those shoots grow out with the fan leaves as the fan leaf can no longer be of support at some point. Cant wait for that to happen. This is going be a wild ride growmies and growmettes!!!! Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. And lastly, I have to address the 'elephant in the room'. Yes, it looks like she's got some seeds in her flowers. She's in my 4x8 with seven other ladies and, unbeknownst to me, my Do Si Dos #33 developed some male flowers that were EXTREMELY small and well hidden. As a result, she got fertilized. This happened so late into flower that I decided to go ahead and finish her out. My hopes are that I get some viable seeds which should be an interesting F1 cross between these two. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's just starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which, according to the breeder, will be here in around three weeks +/- but nothing is cut in stone so I'll let the trichomes determine when she's ready...ya never know, could be a lot sooner! 🤪 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience with this 11-12 Week cultivar! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she's not going to make the 77-84 days in flower 'suggested' by the breeder for best taste/yield and will probably go closer to the 9 weeks +/- which is the minimum recommended flowering period for this strain, but we'll have to see what her trichomes have to say! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Gave some extra grow B in this week as it is higher in P and K and will act as a small PK boost for the stretch that is to come. Flipped my plants to flower as well so they are now on a 12/12 setting. Been using the medic grows mini sun 2's internal timer in the lights and they appear to be working just fine. They have pre-programmed setting of 12/16/18/20/22 "on" cycles, I thought it might have been hold the dial till the number you want came up but its not that fancy. As of now my photoperiod is from 1:30pm-1:30am but I might move this up to 12pm-12am so when I need to look at my plants I'm not waiting till the afternoon. Its really only an issue on the days I'm working. over all happy with the progress, Plants are drinking lots so I'm happy with that. Veg8, siguen creciendo bien, todavía quedan 2 plantas por sacrificar, lo decidiré en el próximo riego. Veg9, ya se seleccionaron las 9 plantas, se sacrificaron las últimas 2. Veg10, riego con 0.7 EC y pH 6.0, drenaje de 1.0 EC y 6.6 pH, se tendrá que seguir bajando el pH de los siguientes riegos, las plantas han estirado un poco más, en unos 2 días se hará transplante a los maceteros definitivos. Se planea hacer LST, pero ya que los nodos están muy juntos, si no estiran mucho tendré que hacer Main Lining. Veg11, nada significativo. Veg12, riego con 0.8 EC y pH 5.5, drenaje 1.0 EC y pH 6.5, plantas listas para transplante dentro de los próximos días, se comienza a mezclar el sustrato para los maceteros definitivos. Veg13, dia de transplante, sustrato con 50% de turba y 50% de vermiculita(sílice), se agrego dolomita para subir el pH del suelo a 5.5~5.8 y además la dolomita agrega calcio y magnesio al suelo, también se agregó yeso agrícola al sustrato el cual es de liberación lenta y agrega calcio y azufre. Al momento del transplante se rocía directamente las raices con voodoo juice, tarantula y piranha, además se espolvorea great white, una ves puesta en el nuevo sustrato, se riega con 1.2 EC y 5.5 pH, de micro, grow y bloom, además b-52, etc. Veg14, nada significativo, siguen creciendo bien, en unos 2 días más haré Main Lining.

And the flowering begins! Changed the timer today to 12/12. The plant stems don't seem perfect to me but the clones didn't come as good as they should have been. They were the only ones i had though. The temperature is too high but i can't lower it anymore it's too hot were i live. Can't wait for the colder days! :/ Usually i opt for Scrog but this time i'm going with LST instead because since the grow space is small, its easier for me in case i want to flush or move the plants around. Gonna start the bloom boosters next week. Yay!

This week I added a new controller to handle up to 8 functions. I installed a new heater, my old humidifier and some LED strips to the controller. Targeting a VPD at 1.0 day and night. Trying to keep the nutrient ppm under 900 and ph at 6.0 in the reservoirs. Ordered a second ph pen because I don’t trust my readings. Will be here by Thursday. Friday: Checked the ppm in the reservoirs and it’s at 1,000. Added more RO water with extra nitrogen to bring the ppm level down to 925. Saturday: I installed an updated AC Infinity controller 69 Pro Plus (controls 8 pieces of equipment) which allowed me to add a humidifier, corner LEDs and a heater to the controller. Overall I’m extremely impressed with this AC Infinity equipment. My VPD is within the range I want to achieve (.8-1.1). I programmed it to maintain 78 degrees and 67% humidity during the day, 73 degrees and 63% humidity at night. Charts posted also show the impact of an open tent compared to the closed environment. The heater is constantly pushing fresh air into the tent, so I don’t need to cycle the exhaust fan often. Rewired the tent again and moved the controller later that night. I mounted the controller on the wall. Added Mars Hydro UV/IR lighting to fill out all 8 slots on the controller. Sunday: I checked the ph in the reservoirs (6.8….i had filled it with 6.0 ph) and the ppm (1200 ppm…I had filled it with 900). So evaporation and possibly a mismeasurement of ph. I topped ff reservoirs with slightly stronger nutes and adjusted ph to 5.8 in the reservoirs. Poor magnesium absorption could be driving some leaf yellowing. Effective tomorrow, I’m switching over to Heads Formula which consistently feeds GH Flora series nutes at Micro (6ml/g), Bloom (9ml/g) and cal mag (3ml/g). Turned on the UV/IR lights for 3 minutes every 8 hours. I’m easing the plants up to 5 minutes every 6 hours which will provide the recommended 20 minutes of IR per day. This will help the plants stretch a little more. Monday: checked ph and ppm in reservoirs. 6.1ph and 880ppm. VPD remains stable except when I open the tent. Tuesday: checked ph (6.4) and ppm (880) in reservoirs. Added .5ml of ph down to two reservoirs. Still see slight yellowing between the veins but it’s not getting worse (might be improving). Adjusting ph down to 6.0 target might have solved this. The plants grew by 1-2” last night…..is the infrared light working already? Decided to mix up fresh nutes for the reservoirs following Heads formula. 6ml Micro and 9ml Bloom per gallon of RO water. Added 5 ml of CalMag too. Ending ppm was 1080 which is too high, so I diluted down to 880 with RO water. 6.0 ph. Wednesday: plants grew another .75 inches last night. I topped above the 5th node. Thursday: added RO water with heavy cal mag to reservoirs to increase amount of CalMag available.

Day10 I started my first large feeding today I’m using the basic general Hydro growth chart my LSD seems to be growing very well I have no complaints today we transfer from the small pot into a 3 gallon Hydroponics tank Day 11 after the large feeding on yesterday She looks great.

Alaskan purple auto is doing good. She is growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She has started to shoot her pre flowering pistils. Also she is starting to stretch. Everything is looking good, and hopefully I can place in the contest. Shaman zeigt seit ca 7Tagen Ansatz für Blüte, das 2. fimmen hat anders funktioniert als das erste mal. Dennoch hat es funktioniert, einige Arme bilden weiter Nodien aus. Alle samt gehen Weiter in den Stretch. Das Ameisen Problem hat sich geregelt. Habe Speisfässer untergestellt und gieße täglich beide großen Pflanzen mit ca 10-15l Wasser. Sehr zufrieden bis jetzt, bis dato keine femis gehabt die Mitte des Jahres in Blüte gehen!
