week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

Day 22 will transplant into 2 gal fabric pots tomorrow Day 24 transplanted into 2 gal pots and fed to runoff. Used grow!t brand coco coir and cheap amazon fabric 2 gal pots. Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Quebec Blast is growing good, she is starting to develop flowers, and stretching. She is the shorter one in the room. I am figuring a stocky frosty plant at end. 🤞 I get there with no major issues. A solution change of a gallon every 4 to 5 days has been my current schedule. Future grows I wanna try to keep roots higher up through pruning to allow more solution for better stability, and longer between changes. These came down 11 weeks to the day from seed , this is them on their last day here. Wet weight is 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 was not expecting so much, it will last me HOURS ! these got wet trimmed now they're on the mat drying , the smell is typical american sweet candy ... was it fun? yes , yes it was fun ! what a plant this one is, my tallest one at 100cm, averaging 85cm , wet weight is.... gonna wait for dry weight, before i jinx it could be dense could be loose ! looks dense + not expecting to loose more than 50% it's all in the cure now ! 🚀

24/09 - D17 since pistills. Busy day today. Full res change, with nutes modified to transition to bloom for the next couple of days before I bump her to full dose bloom 3 weeks from pistills showing. Also did some heavy defoliation. Started chopping with the intent of taking a few, but concerns around humidty levels have been in the back of my mind for awhile and given I was all geared up in the tent anyway I went to town. Removed a couple of weaker branches that were interfering with other sites, and took a large amount of lengthy and inward facing leaves. Walked away and came back and the difference was quite shocking (first grow!), but she looks better for it. Flowers are now exposed to light, and areas where moisture can get trapped have been dramatically reduced if not eliminated. Hopefully she responds well to her new haircut. Also came across my guard spider while sweeping out some leaves that fell behind the res, not sure what hes eating in there, maybe he just likes the smell! EC: 1.27, PH 5.8. 25/09 - Managed to get humidity down to 55 after the defoiation and leaving the door of the tent open. She seems to be happy after her haircut. PH dropping slowly at 5.7, EC stable at 1.27, water dropping. 26/09 - Small spot of PM on one sugar and one fan leaf. Wiped clean with a wet tissue and trimmed off. Will spray with diluted milk mixture at lights out and keep my eyes open for further infection. Modified setup a bit to try and bring the humidty down further and increase air flow, but struggling to get it below 55% even with a humidifer in the tent and the fan ramped up to max. Going to do a res change with full bloom nutes tomorrow so as not to prolong this grow longer than needs be. 27/09 - Full Res change to bloom nutes. 35ml Micr, 6ml Grow, 45ml Bloom. No new spots of PM seen, continuing with minor trimming when I spot any touching leaves as a preventative. RH finally pulled down into the 40's, and then my fan broke. Time to buy a new one. 28/09 - PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.27. Going to try and leave well alone from this point forward unless issues arise or I see damp spots forming. Humidty finally down to 40%. 29/09 - PH and EC dropping. Topped off res with 8l of water at 50%. 13ml Micro, 3ml Grow, 20ml Bloom. PH 6.0, EC 1.3ish. 30/09 - PH 5.8, EC 1.17. Continuing to trim a couple of leaves here and there when I spot an overlap or blockage and pinch off tiny bud shoots below the canopy.

Feb 1st Plants are stretching out with about 2” growth last week. The root structure is awesome. I will be transplanting to individual pots soon. I am going to try out an autopot system which is still considered hydroponic although I will be using coco/per light medium Started them on 75% strength nutes Feb 3rd Moved the plants over to my new autopot system Feb 4th Plants moved to the new medium coco/perlite with very little shock. With in 18 hrs all 3 were perky again

Because these plants got put in flower “too early” they continued growing before actually flowering. right now they are legit in week 2 of flowering, The strains are (see the picture of this week) Top left: Critical - zamnesia Top right: Critical super silver Haze Bottom: Purple Haze last video = end of this week

04/02 500ml of water each pot, PH 5.82, nutrients as described into schedule 04/03 -- 04/04 -- 04/05 -- 04/06 500ml of water, PH 5.92, nutrients as described into schedule 04/07 -- 04/08 250ml of pure water each pot, PH 5.8. I've also defoliated #3 and removed dead leaves from #1 and #2

12 days to full transplantable roots. Right on schedule as expected. Moved 6 of the 12 clones (1 per plant) into a new 45L Rez that I cobbled together in an evening. Just small enough to fit into the cabinet. Hopefully the roots don’t choke each other out for territory while we work to reveg, re-flower and ultimately seed em all for the new F3 line. We’ll pick the best buds from the lot for the next testing run once we see what the pheno variation looks like from the main run in the tent. It’s a process and annoyance not to be yielding bud off a grow cycle but it is what it is if you want your own signature stuff. Alls good for now. Let’s just hope that the 6 coats of paint I threw on the lid is enough to keep out the grow light penetration🤞. Shoulda used black, whatever.

The plant on the left exhibits noticeable black tips, indicating a late-stage deficiency during flowering. It’s significantly larger than the one on the right, which shows less signs of deficiency. As the left plant gains weight, it struggles to support some branches and develops foxtails. The aroma in the tent is delightful, with the left plant emitting a sweet, cake-like scent, while the right one exudes a strong gas-like odour. It’s remarkable how different the plants are despite being the same strain.

Day 56 Flowering: We are finally at an harvest window after only seeing the poor fft#8 pulled early. FFT#9 is still giving out lots of new pistils so wants to continue a bit longer . She has some very nice bud stacks that will benefit from another weeks swelling and growth. I decided to end the drought stress and feed again as I could not risk slowing the. down too much at this stage now. She has a lot of trichromes covering her sugar leaves and buds too but they are still fairly clear when I looked at them with the loupe. By the amount of fresh pistils still showing and popping out , she will be good for at least another week and plenty more feeds. This strain is a beautiful smelling and growing beasty. a sure fire winner once released. FFT#10 Has been in the dark for nearly 3 days now and will be trimmed up later for her drying period. She looks absolutely perfect in the flesh amd pics do not do her justice. Nice, fat , long and trich covered colas throughout the plant amd I cannot wait to sample that beautiful candy smelling trich monster. Be safe and Well growmies

The buds are fattening up this week and some hairs are turning orange on the bigger buds. I’m guessing I’ll have to harvest this one in stages looking at the bud development now. The buds are beginning to smell very strongly. Some large ones are having difficulty standing up so I imagine I’ll have to secure them in the next few days. Trichromes are clear and the sugar leaves are getting frostier and frostier each day. I’m estimating harvest first week of April so I’ll begin flushing next week.
