The beginning of week 5! I think we are going into flower this week, signs are there. 7/22 (Day 35) - Started off week 5 with the most LST and Defoliation I have done and I was nervous. They needed it though, I was getting worried about mold and airflow through these bushy ladies, so I did my best and kinda followed my instinct. I did watch and read a ton of videos and articles and tried to put what I learned to use. I think these ladies are about to go into flower as well, started noticing the white pistols and where potential bud sites are going to be so I did my best to make those available to light and as even as possible. Will be letting them rest for a few days and reassess then. Everything continues to stay in check and the new dehumidifier worked awesome last night keeping the humidity in check. 7/23 (Day 36)- Didnt get any pictures this day. Pretty normal day, they drank 2 gallons and just continue to grow. I feel like they are just growing like crazy still and I think im starting to see them start stretching a bit more. 7/24 (Day 37)- Did the res change this morning, they are definitely starting to stretch and the bud sites seem to becoming more obvious. I went with more Veg neats after doing some reading, I may switch to bloom next week depending on how they are stretching. They fully recovered from the LST and defoliation two days ago. I decided to do a bit more today and focus on opening up light to sites that need them. Everything gets covered up so fast and I am having to defoliate a bit almost every other day it seems. 7/25 (Day 38)- Everytime I defoliate and do some LST they seem to bounce back so fast like next day. I did a bit more with the front left plant, she is lagging behind the others a bit, but that one has always seemed to be the runt. They are starting to form buds, especially back left plant which seems to have taken off a bit faster than the others. They are drinking almost 3 gallons a day! Everything continues to stay in check. I am debating if I should try scrogging or not, or just continue to LST and defoliate. Any input is welcome! 7/26 (Day 39) - Just kind of checked in on them and topped up the res today, Everything looks nice and healthy, all conditions are staying consistent and everyone is looking healthy. 7/27 (Day 40)- Did quite a bit of defoliation this morning. They needed it badly, a lot of the light was not getting through to under the canopy. Going to just keep an eye on them and see how they recover the next few days. As always, tips and recommendations are always appreciated!

Esta variedad me resultó bastante sencilla de cultivar, y si no la maltratas crece sana a mi parecer, la flor se ve increíble, tiene una cantidad de resina considerable y unos tonos rojos muy peculiares, se ven muy apetecibles. El olor que desprende es muy peculiar es muy dulce con toques terrosos, a mi parecer, no pinta nada mal, las flores están prietas. También os comento que la variedad es muy fácil de cultivar y no da mayores problemas, el ciclo no es largo, cuiden con la altura ya que se desmadran un poco. IMPORTANTE destacar: En las fotos comprobaréis que ya no hay botes de cristal con sobres de bóveda, ahora hay Grovebags. Que son una especie de sobres o bolsas que retienen el peso, previene la aparición de moho y mantiene intacto el terpeno, para que el curado sea más óptimo. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

the week started with a novelty for me: the appearance of nematodes in my tanks... strange little worms, which gather in the water and move in little spasms (see video 👆) When I started growing, I bought a whole range of products against infestations, paranoid as I was (I'm sure others have experienced this 😅); Among other things, I bought NeemAzal, neem oil in emulsion. So I took a chance. I emptied my tanks, cleaned and dried the bottom, without much conviction as the worms must have been in the coco already. I made a new soup with my fertilizer, adding 20ml of neem per 10 litres. Well, I don't know if it was really the right product, but for the last 5 days there has been no trace of nematodes! The water seems soapy, the grease film is more important than without the neem, but if it takes the small sacrifice of a conscientious cleaning once a week, I'll gladly do it! In any case, my plants are doing absolutely no worse : the first one got its leaves back in 2 days, already forcing me to a small pruning 4 days later, now showing well several colas; I also defoliated the 2nd one for the first time, which produced leaves already bigger than my hand in 2 weeks of life! happy with this hydroponic experience so far 😊

This week I transplanted my little Strawberry Banana girl to a Big Girl Bed-LOL. Seriously though, I transplanted her to a large garden bed as opposed to 5 gallon pots like I usually do. I wanted to give this plant all the room she need to grow her very best. I'm curious to see if having a larger grow area will produce a larger plant. I am thinking more room for the roots to expand. My plant did not grow very much in height but the width of the leaves did grow. Weather has been very nice here this week.

Added a scrog today, plants looking healthy. Ill be looking foward to see how they react being autoflowers. Bat guano also added to the coco as a top layer and mixed in about an inch. Upped the cannaboost and cannazym. Next week probably be adding PK 13/14

dear grow community, I report back with the fifth week of my Northern light auto grow. This week my plants have started to flower. They have grown extremely well and I have a lot of fun taking care of them. I have now stopped using LST as I want the plants to grow upwards. I have also changed my fertilizer. I also changed my sodium vapor lamp from veg to flower. I'm looking forward to see my babies flower and hopefully produce big buds. Ok so I asked about harvest to you wonderful folks, and decided to chop. I've left PPP3 as she isn't quite at the same stage as the other 2 yet. So I used the old microwave drying trick. I remembered to put it in for 1 minute on a piece of kitchen towel- Please do NOT do this! It caught the paper and weed on fire and I had to put it out in the sink. (It was only in there for about 15 seconds). I tried again using a couple seconds at a time. It worked out that time. I smoked some up, and it's very nice. Tastes peppery and exotic. Smells divine like dank usually does. 7.3.25: Buds we're ready to trim, I think slightly too dry. Could have done it yesterday, probably. Weight dry with stems was 1 and 7/8 of an ounce. I'm putting it in my mason jar

Chery Cola is one of my favorites and I just could not fix this one. I canceled this grow and threw most of it away. I vegged wrong and something happened to the dirt. grow a total loss... all the plants from this grow were junk, all from bugs. I had transplant issues, I got Bud Trainer cups for next time. I should have topped her but I didn't she was really really small. I have never grown this strain with any success at all.....I am starting over with a new one.... I fail at every attempt at Banana Purple Punch.... I will get it right next time!! even screwed up Apricot and that is almost impossible.... I think I will re-do this entire grow. The last one turned out beautiful.
