The Banana Purple Punch is stacking very nicely now, with buds swelling visibly across the entire canopy. A sweet, fruity aroma is starting to develop, becoming more noticeable day by day. The plant has stayed very compact at around 50 cm, with a dense and well-structured canopy. There are an impressive number of heavy, well-developed bud sites, and overall development looks very promising at this stage.

This strain reminds me of purple kush but then this is the best phenotype, very dark purple buds ready in 70 days

A couple days from ripened nanners and they should start cumming all over the place. Will be saving this (what I believe to be) very special pollen and crossing with some of the lower bud sites on the slurricane that remains in the garden. Will also allow the polyploid cola to pollinate itself and collect the S1's. Very excited for these nanners

02/01/18 - Week 7 / Day 38 Added PK 13/14 last week as per the CANNA COCO schedule I've been following for this grow - the buds look a little more plump and I cant wait to see what the next few weeks have in store. The smell is amazing - sweet and citrusy, with a candy aroma. There is great variation in the smell of the resins from the 4 GZ plants - one of them smells like a sweet tangerine while others smell less citrusy and more sharp/pine smelling. There doesn't seem to be much of a variation in phenotype, one has a great inter-nodal distance and the other three look about the same in terms of stature. Two look identical in the shapes of their bud, one has very GG4 looking buds and the last one has the least developed buds. I think this is because it has the most lateral growth and multiple bud sites which cant get the light from the canopy - I got a little greedy and didn't want to trim these away when defoliating early flower but I looking back I regret not doing that as the other three (which didn't have nearly as many smaller side branches) are doing excellently. Alternatively, this plant could just be a couple days behind lol. More updates on 8th. Happy New Year!

Getting my supports into place and then will flip this coming week. Mites seem under control, still using soap spray and systemic spinosad in watering. The two middle most plants are Ice Bomb. I have not been feeling well so I have not pulled them all out for photos this week.

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one never did stop making the hook leaves on all her new growth, but she seems happy..budding faster than anybody else.. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

The new additional nutrients I received from House and Garden are nothing short of amazing. I contacted them about a possible sponsorship and they sent me the entire like of nutrients for my entire grow. The first thinning and structure happened this week and everyone responded well, especially the Black dog OG. The San Bacio Gelato is showing its vigor as being the tallest plant out of the for and expectedly so. This one's maturing extremely slow, but the buds are extremely chunky putting on a good bit of frost, and LOUD LOUD LOUD Candy Grapes + New Age Diesel/Gas Terps and it is screaming loud, the leaf rub results in a similar nose with a huge diesel tinge. This is definently a modern spin on the classic. Amazing genetics, but the bag appeal on this Pheno isn't anything crazy! Definnetly will give this another spin some time! I love the Terps on this.

Buds look great. I think shes got about 1-2 weeks to go. Some brown spots have been apearing that look like bud rot... Really good week with this lady. She is putting on weight in all the right places. Sprayed with BT and neem oil last night. Gave her 1 feeding this week and 3 waterings. Gave her a little hair cut to allow more air flow. Getting close and super excited!! Happy growing!!
