Sorry not many pics this week, struck down with man-flu! Few pics of the new 600wt lumni fully adjustable light I picked up and have replaced one of the smaller kingbo’s with it, thought about having the two kingbo’s either side of this lumni but I really didn’t wanna forfeit the 400wt cobs! Also bought another double output air pump, so going into flowering phase, watt/plant ratio has increased and so has aeration to the air domes inside the smart pots. I’ve also added a small water pump to the nutrient tank to keep it moving/oxygenated while it’s waiting to feed into the drip tray.

Week 7 was the penultimate week before flowering. Once week 8 is completed, on August 11th, I will start the flowering schedule. I will also begin using Advanced Nutrients formulations designed for this stage. The plants have not shown any signs of stress and have started taking up much more water. Therefore, in the next watering, I plan to give them around 5 to 6 liters, since their water demand has increased significantly and the pots are drying out quickly.

Excellent genetics. Highly recommend ETHOS Terps are the best I’ve grown.. I like the boutique stuff tho. It’s like grapes but sweet and sour to it. Hard to describe. Killer bag appeal. Rock hard nugs on 3 of the 4 phenos.. pheno 3 had some fluff to it. Had some lock out issues with dry back of the coco being so quick. Overall they turned out pretty damn good considering they were abused a bit.

Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

7/20 Went over this morning to plants soaking wet and heavy rain. Went back around 4pm and plants actually look really good. The rain has stopped for a bit and the girls looked great. Apart from some septoria leaves I needed to defoliate on the first plant I treated. I also noticed a few others on other plants so it's spreading albeit slowly. I treated the three in the middle with their second dose of Plant Doctor at 3tsp/1gal. One gallon administered to each plant via root drench. I think I may treat the other plant showing signs with a diy Dr. Zymes using citric acid as the active ingredient. That way I Gould start treatment right away without having to rely fully on plant doctor. Plus it would kill any pests. Ive seen damage but the birds do a number on them. I dont want to spray my plants with a bunch of chemicals if I don't have too. I shouldve replaced the pallets and cleaned the cage better. I think I did a good job sanitizing as I have no wpm. Just this septoria I probably got when the lady mowing the lawn cut all tjis fucking grass and blew it in my pen, throwing bird seed and I'm sure tons of disease into my grow bags. I literally had to harvest a bunch if fucking sunflowers. It looked like my plants had been mulched. Just with small disease carrying shrubs. At some point some of this stuff has to be on purpose. You CAN'T be that stupid. A couple kushes in the back look hungry. I think I may need to up my feed. I've written to much. I'll keep this updated. Thanks if you made it this far. 7/21 I guess it rained last night. Oh well. It was blue skies for hours before dark. It must've rained late/early morning. I'm sure the app of plant doctor will be fine. Like I said I'm considering using citric acid as a foliar spray to help with the septoria and clean up any pests. I don't have enough pests to warrant spraying. I just don't want to put all my eggs in the plant doctor basket. Today is overcast and windy. The wind has really assisted in spreading this virus. I remove anything I see infected immediately and since these plants are reveges they have plenty of leaves. Plants are really stretching. I know I talk about the septoria a lot but realistically if someone looked through my garden they'd have a hard time spotting it. I don't want to exaggerate the problem but I don't like dealing with ANY fungus or molds. 7/22 It was 55° this morning when I went over. I defoliated some septoria leaves and a few that were fading or damaged. I saw almost a whole leaf eaten so it's probably a good idea to move forward with citric acid. I can add that to the plants I've already treated with plant doctor. This is the first year it's been so noticeable. It's the reveg 10th planet that started this off. Oh well. I've dealt with MUCH worse. Plants LOOK good (other than septoria leaves (on bottom of plant). Today is water day for me but it's been raining and it's a lot cooler today. Bags still had weight to them. I want them to have a proper wet dry cycle. Temps top out at 75° so I'll monitor during the day and if something NEEDS WATER I'll give it to it. I'm suprised I have ZERO WPM. The septoria is much more identifiable but pm is usual present in these conditions bur I don't have a spot of it. I may do some defoliation today. I also need to add supports for flowering but one thing at a time. EDIT: Went over around noon. 70°. Bags seem to be holding weight (it was easier to tell as ONE plant was substantially lighter than the rest) so I decided to hold off on watering. At least until tonight. There are three plants (at least that are going to NEED water). They look phenomenal now though and we've had lots of rain. Plan is to go over later and get the light ones and mix the water for the others so I can administer it in the morning quickly. I have an early doctor's appointment but I don't to overwater or water unnecessarily just because. But when you grow alone sometimes you need to do things when your able. I have people there that would help if I asked. And I have before but its late . I'm very grateful. I defoliated quite a few septoria leaves. They were all from the bottom of the plant. A couole wete bottom interior. I know there are worse things to contend with but still a pain. EDIT #2 WENT BACK AT FOUR AND PLANTS LOOKED FANTASTIC AND STILL HELD WEIGHT. THE REVEG MK ULTRA IN EARLY FLOWER "MAY" HAVE STARTED TO DROOP AND "SEEMED" LIGHT. THE LARGE SPECIAL KUSH FUETHEST IN FLOWER BY THE DOOR WAS ALSO EXRRENELY LIGHT. I HAVE AN EARLY DOCTORS APPOINTMENT BUT DONT WANT TO OVER WATER MY PLANTS JUST BECAUSE IM IN A HURRY. ITS COOLER THIS WEEK. 70 TODAY AND HIGH OF 80 TOMORROW BUT DAD SAID THATS NOT UNTIL THE AFTERNOON. I MIXED UP ENOUGH WATER TO WATER EVERYTHING IN THE MORNING IF IT NEEDS IT. I HAVE AN IMPORTANT DOCTORS APPOINTMENT EARLY THAT WILL TAKE ME AWAY AND IM FEELING A LITTLE ILL SO I WANTED TO GET DONE WHAT I COULD TODAY.

This was a strain I’ve had my eye on for a very long time and happy to say I have now fully experienced her from seed until harvest ! The ladies were harvested on Day 58 of flower and were hung to dry. Very easy to grow, not sensitive to anything and likes it a bit dryer in her pot. Beautiful plant to look at while in bloom - completely covered in trichomes and lots of beautiful calyxes While in flower she smells of fresh fruit and and very pungent. After dry she smells of cheese, earthy and peppery. I would love to send her off for some lab results as the effects tell me she is high in thc! Will definitely grow her again :)00

Oh man I messed up by not cutting candy kush #3 before the rain last week and lost a little less than half to botrytis 😓😓😞 but can only be mad at myself for not chopping her down sooner and I will still end up with a few ozs from CKE #3. Candy kush #2 just exploded with trichomes and orange pistils over the last 8 days so I'm very glad I left #1 & #2 out, going to chop #2 today or maybe tomorrow if it stays warm and sunny!!! Candy kush #1 is the biggest of the 3(makes sense since I put her in a full 15 gallon grow bag). When I chopped #3 last week cke #1 was no where near done but now almost all her pistils have turned brown and she has milky trichomes all over!! Im the most excited for CKE #2 ,she smells like the old school west coast og kush with a hint of chem to her it's amazing!! Candy kush #1 got more of the sweet special traits in the nose smells very sweet and earthy but im sure both will be amazing smoke no doubt in my mind!! ✌️ ☮️

~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect that’ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. It’s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. It’s a top-notch resin producer that doesn’t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/23- This is the twelfth week in veg for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and she's turning into a big bushy beast! 6/25- Yesterday, I top dressed the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower with 2 cups each of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with 1 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 and 1/2g of Wiggle Worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 5g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. Today my daily watering of the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF continues with 5-7g of straight well water from the garden hose. 6/27- Our weather continues to be HOT with heat indexes over 100℉ so I'm watering the GG4 Sherbet FF every day with 5-8g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade. Other than the ever present leaf hoppers, which love the leaves and an occasional Japanese Beetle, there aren't any serious pest issues currently. The FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower continues to have excellent color and vigor and continues to add vertical growth! 6/29- Chalk up another week for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower. I'm super pleased with how this strain has developed and the vigor and resistance it's shown to heat, humidity and pests. I can't wait for this fine lady to begin flowering which should be happening sometime in the near future!🤩👍 Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

-5/28/23 Start of Week --Week 10/Flower 4 -5/31/23 (Day 74/flower 25) --Observations: temperature is rising during the day and the night isn't dropping as low as I would like. Already starting to get clustered again. --Comments: seems to be okay with the increasing heat, don't see any problems yet and hopefully wont. shade leaves are starting to push their way into the middle area again, will try not to remove unless the become a problem. -6/3/23 (Day 77/Flower 28) --Observations: shade leaves still pushing their way into center, buds still growing and starting to form calxes. --Changes: will no longer be spraying after today, will also start giving more water --Comments: today is the last day for spraying this plant, watering will be increased to compensate. may have to remove some of the shade leaves pushing into the center area next week, will be extremely selective if I have to remove anything from this point on. lemon basil is starting to tower over the cannabis, will be removing some to give space between them. -6/3/23 End of Week

* ********* Week 5, May 9 to 15, 2020 - Days 29 to 35 from germination ********** * We are calling this week 1 of flower. Definite signs of preflower on the girls. They are doing well in overcoming the transplant into plastic pots. The pH is still a concern and messing things up from a nice normal feeding pattern. They are nice and green though and will work through this all because they are healthy overall. They are a fair bit larger at the end of the week than they were at the start of the week😀 GSC flushed hard at the start of the week to help combat the pH which is still high. She was given over 40L to help lower. Sorry Fast Buds.......grower not setting this one on fire😞 Little more detail coming....... May 9/20 - Day 29 - 2L given to each girl with Massive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag, Piranha, Voodoo, Rezin, Liquid Wt @ 1ml = 1000ppm and 5.1pH - Runoff numbers today: - GSC - 330ppm and 7.2pH - GSC2 - 335ppm with 7.2pH - the pH is not coming down as I expected.....WTF????? - flushed GSC in evening - GSC given first 18L at 5.6pH and next 16L at 4.7pH - run off only came down to 6.2 with 100ppm May 10/20 - Day 30 - 2L feeding for GSC girl with VeloKelp, Vitathrive @ 2ml, CalMag, Dual Fuel, Piranha @ 1ml = 650ppm and 4.4pH - let the pH low in feed as well, - GSC is 7” tall now. - GSC2 was not fed. May 11/20 - Day 31 - each girl given 1.5L of feed with VeloKellp, Rezin, Liquid Wt @ 1ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 900ppm and 4.3pH - GSC2 has been a couple of days so she soaked up all the water. She is perky today....not bigger though - GSC is getting taller adn wider. He is looking really wide today. May 12/20 - Day 32 - dry out day - left them alone today May 13/20 - Day 33 - day out day - pots are still heavy. - giving them a second day off. May 14/20 - Day 34 - mixed 7L water with Massive @ 3m, Rezin @ 2ml, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Rhino Skin, CalMag @ 1ml = 1075ppm and 5.3pH. - GSC was given 4L - runoff was 275ppm and 6.5pH - GSC2 was given 3L - runoff was 300ppm and 6.5pH - Things seem to be okay with the numbers.........pH is still a little high though. - GSC had lower growth trimmed to clean her up. - Starting silica today with Rhino Skin to help firm up the branches. - GSC2 is very small and she is set over to one side of the pot........no LST needed😂 May 15/20 - Day 35 - dry out day - tips are not up 100% so we keep working at it👍😃
