Welcome to my diary for The Seedsman Tiny Pot Contest I was left with two difficult tasks. Firstly, what the hell am I going to grow in? It has to be something unique! Can't just be any ordinary small pot..... Secondly, what am I going to grow in it? It also has to be unique! Can't be just any ordinary pot..... The first obvious choice to me was a photoperiod. Since we are dealing with a micro root system, I would be able to train it like a Bonsai. As the roots get big, it would be easy to cut and maintain the root system before flower. Less chance of root bound and the plant would grow according to its environment. Then I said fuck it..... and chose an autoflower. It's a contest and I love a challenge! I landed on Oasis Genetics Auto Crystal Widow and a little hippo named Herbie! Herbie holds 0.081 gallons of soil. I'm hoping with a 12/12 light schedule it will keep the roots from getting out of control. Wish me luck!! GERMINATION: Day 1, dropped seed in small glass of water. After 12-18 hours the seed will be transferred to a wet paper towel until taproot forms. End of Day 4 taproot had reached 3/4" and it was time for soil.

Here we are day 55 for our Wurlz F1 Hybrid. I would immediately like to say, do you notice anything by any chance? I said day 55 and we're pretty much ready. The leaves are turning yellow regularly, I have removed the fertilizers, the pistils are ripe, the resin is out, there are all the signs for a harvest which should take place towards the end of next week. The plants were born on April 6th, I repeat on April 6th for those who cannot grasp the concept. Most certainly Watermelon Candy and Wurlz will be harvested around June 6th, guys...8 weeks...not even 9 or at most nine weeks. If you're good at math, you do it otherwise I'll lend you some fingers. For topping lovers it means that if you want to do topping on autoflowering plants they won't finish in biblical times, according to my calculations even doing topping shouldn't go beyond three months, like an autoflowering from the previous generation. Why am I talking about the previous generation? Because these have certainly moved forward with speed, I have seen them grow and above all swell the flowers like I have never seen them do. As for the rest of the resin and pistils, everything is really in place. I want to do a terpene inspection soon and evaluate the ripeness for the harvest. Hey week 7 , and safe to say the star of the show so far is blue gelato 41 . So dense and full of thc. The buds are literally so dense I can't believe it . We’re now in the final stage of the grow. The plants are receiving plain water only, and we’re just watching and waiting for the right harvest window to open up. Trichomes are still showing some clear heads, so I estimate we’ve got around 10 days left, give or take. That would bring us to a total of 14 weeks from sprout to harvest, which is definitely on the longer side for modern autoflowers — but every strain is different! Leaves are fading fast, senescence is well underway, and everything is pointing towards the final phase. So around April 20th I decided to go all in and purchased the following: grow tent, Vivosun 600W led light, Vivosun air filtration kit, a timer, thermometer/ hygrometer combo, 2 fans and the General Hydroponics flora grow trio. This is just from stuff that I've seen on YouTube, mainly on the "from seed to stoned" channel. Dude seems to be doing a decent job and I initially gathered info from him. At first just the light came so I installed that, put one of those reflective sunshades for your windshield as a light reflector and used my humidifier. That was that. Can't remember the dosage of nutrients per plant really, but it was probably around 1 ml of micro and 1 ml of grow per gallon. Didn't feed em that amount of water, just a bit. Decided that Gaia was to be moved in a 5 gallon bucket, just to see how it would perform being moved straight into its final pot. I did some research and bought Fox Farms Happy Frog soil so that was that. The other seedlings were moved into solo cups with the same soil. At this point I got excited about the prospect of my first grow. I was never really interested in growing but sometimes if I put something in my mind then I'll dedicate myself as much as possible.

Después de llevar 13 días sin postear nada sobre mis autos debo decir que van en buen camino, llevan una floración más avanzada. Sigo con la misma dinámica, riego a base de aloe vera y semillas germinadas de soja verde esta vez he comenzado a agregar silicio para fortalecer la planta. La receta de té es la misma que la de antes: Tierra de cultivo 100g Hummus de lombriz 200g Guano de murciélago 80g Puñado de compost de caballo (imagino que unos en la anterior toma también 40g) Cola de caballo 2.5g Espirulina 7g Hidrolizado de kelp 20g Ácidos fulvico 2ml Melaza 90ml Siempre oxigenado 24h Preparado para 15 litros a las plantas más jóvenes al ser trasplantados hace poco les suministro diluido con una tercera parte de agua. Por la mañana aún llevando menos oxigenación les fumigo el te de compost también diluido a toda la terraza y les sienta genial. Os dejo escrito como he preparado mi tierra y las enmiendas realizadas. 50% sustrato antiguo bien reposado limpio de raíces ( light mix) en este caso, llevan casi un año y no tienen mucho nutriente pero esta en buen estado. 50% basado en 35% fibra de coco 15%hummus de lombriz 2l perlita Como extras nutrihemp, torta de neem y dolomita. Todo dosis recomendada. Sin medición de ph ni ec en ningún momento del cultivo. Es mi primera mezcla y por ahora las plantas transplantadas han tenido un cambio notable a como lo tenía al empezar el cultivo solo con tierra antigua y hummus. Tengo acompañando a estas auto a unas 6 feminizadas y otras 2 autos todas lucen verdes y sanas

we are on the first day of week 3 and everything is looking really strong! day 18 of flower and wow the growth is accelerating so so fast! pineapple express grew 6 inches in the past 2 days. they all seem to be responding really well to the defoliation i did a couple days ago, all the lower buds seem to be catching up in size

🗓️ Week 17: 3/23 - 3/29 📆 Week 7 of 12/12 🌄 The plant is starting to go into senescence and presenting some beautiful colors as she begins to fade. 💡 Received new lighting courtesy of Growers Choice. They sent me the ROI-E420 with the Master Controller. First impression is amazing. Looks and feels like very high quality build. The spectrum seems more blue than the 3000k lm301H Kingbrite bars I have been using. The bars are thinner and packed with a lot of diodes, so they do run a little hotter than the KB at full power. I adjusted and now running them at 90%. For now the Kingbrite bars are being used as side lighting dimmed to about 30-35% depending on Grow room temps.

A week ago today I did some major defoliation. Somebody had looked at my pictures and said it look like a pile of leaves. She was right. I decided to open things up to let light on more bud sites. I went kind of nuts. But one week later and I think the plants look much better. Light gets down much deeper now. I have two King tuts one white widow and one Obi-Wan Kush. The 2 king Tutts are taking over my room. The white widow is 1/ third less the size. And the Obi-Wan Kush is turning into a runt. It’s hard to keep the king Tutts from shadowing out the other two smaller plants. I’ve tied some branches back with string to open things up some more. I’m starting to get impatient. I know I’ve got five or six weeks left. But I am sitting around the house, with the quarantine in effect. I grossly missjudged my weed consumption And I’m dry and looking at these plants. Come on May 15! That’s my potential target date.

51 Days in flower have passed. This week i got myself an upgrade, new light the FC-E3000 and a 120x60 grow tent so i can grow some bigger and better medicine. I love the specs on the light, the price was right and so i have high expectations from looking at other peoples reviews of the light. We will see if im able to hit the jackpot with this! 🤠 The girls are looking great! Cheese left, Gorilla Girl right. the pictures and videos are self explanatory, its looking awesome!!! If you ever wondered where i stashed the Runtz and Bruce Banner; i took them out of the grow tent and just put them in the corner of my house without light only surviving off the light in the shadow from the sun, they have been neglected for a while but they still went on super strong, they started flowering 3 weeks ago so i had to put them into reveg so they look a little odd now but its all good. it was either that or i would have to throw them in the trash, and im not gonna waste some nice strains like that. Im impressed how they have survived with almost no light and water. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎

I was pleasantly surprised with Green Crack as a whole throughout the grow. She stayed healthy throughout her lifespan while producing decent sized colas in bloom. I would suggest a slightly higher temp in late veg, closer to 80-84. I have her hanging in my dry room at 66 degrees and 62% RH. The smell is starting to envelope the room with a strong fruity almost tropical aroma. I can’t wait to update my diary after she’s dry enough to smoke but even more excited to try her after a solid 30 day cure. I harvested one of the Mimosa Cakes last week. It’s in day 7 of drying with about 3-5 days to go. Stay tuned for the smoke results and final weight!
