The last week I kept the girls in the shade a bit during the day. We´ve had temperatures close to 40 degrees C. I didn´t want to expose them to too much heat.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. This week we did a very heavy defoil, the canopy was so thick I was getting worried about bud-rot or something else starting. There is also a decent amount of larf on some of the sides where the bushes where bumping into each other. Next time, I'm only doing 5 in this tent as they could have been bigger with more space. I will do the next layout like a 5 on a 6 sided dice. Once again, I had Algae try to start. However, I was prepared with H202 on hand. I put 1ml per L in, and it cleared that up in 1 day. I have decided that after next week, they will get the chop. By Feb 26th, they will be chopped and weighed wet, then 7 days later, weighed dry!

Welcome to my Slurircane Diary sponsored by MSNL. SD 8-9 She's growing as a seedling should. Gonna keep her in the 1.7L pot for a few more days and then I'll uppot to her final veg pot 11L. And then into an 18L for the whole flowering phase. VD1 10th Day. She's on her way, healthy and into veg with no issues, as of yet, as there rarely is with seedlings. Veg Day 1-3 Was going so well. Then, my veg tent, out of 7 of them. I gave 6 (ages from 7wks to 6 days) Mystical Green From Terra Power and look at the damage it cost me in my video. Bad Enzyme Reaction. Nothing I can do but ride it out. All Terra Power products have been Ditched and replaced with Plagron. Its not that, they're bad. I just don't have any of their base nutrients. And I've the full Agla Grow, bloom & other Plagron Products I'll be using for this grow. I've flushed the plant. Added Silic Rock, Power Roots, Alga Grow and sprayed the Leafs With Vita Race "once a wk for VR, and every water for the rest as is suggested. I'm using their pro mix, it's specifically goes best with the Alga Products. If you're using their light mix, I suggest their Terra range. I've also taken Plagron Zyme from the Terra Grow list, as it's an Enzyne for the whole process. And also I added Silic Rock for issues like The Mystical Green Caused, my entire crop, even the baby, so, I know 100% it was MG, and it's meant to be able to be given for the entire grow. I've had it for over a yr. But, she shelf life should of been well in date. Very disappointed. I flushed the 2 1.7L pots. And restarted them on Plagron power Zyme/Roots, Alga Grow & Terpinator "The OG" Diet: Been keeping it on the light side a 3:1:3 ratio. Grow, Bloom, Micro 630-670ppm 5.8-6.1ph. Artios Touch was given. I'm thinking of putting her on a Full Plagron Alga Diet with their light mix..also I'll be getting Terpinator. Something I badly need to improve the taste/terpine profile. I'll also be using Green Sensation/ pure Zyme/ root stim/ Terra Grow&bloom. And mega worm humus. Edited Day 12. Sadly Mystical Green, has caused a nasty reaction in all my girls, I know looks like a def, "it's not, it's in all the girls I gave MG to, even my 6 day old seedling and my girl that just entered Veg Day 3 Day 12, in the video was affected. Everything that got a dose of it did. Except the Frosted Guava, she was given another Enzyme, and was just gonna add it today, so glad I held off. So annoyed. Only the next days will tell if Plagron can save my crop. Decided to start pushing Terpinator, as she's not getting any worse, crisis averted. Vita Race "must be used as foliar spray once a wk" was applied and will be until 3rd week of Flowering. Lights P/SF 1000(s) are been used. For flowering I'll be using an FC4800 "hopefully" along with the IR/UV 45.

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.

More bulking this week no amber in the trichomes yet but there’s many milky area. Some leaves were yellowing out so I cut them off. Looks like maybe one to two more weeks? Possibly. Stopping feeding the incredible bulk every day and going to water, water, feed schedule until I see amber then nothing but water to finish.

Mi experimento vuelve a demostrar que NO necesitas complejos productos de clonación ni sistemas para obtener clones! Hace 15 días puse 2 clones con el tallo sumergido en miel durante 5 minutos en una maceta de 400 ml con PRO-MIX HP BACILLUS + MYCORRHIZAE He mantenido la humedad alta con una cúpula de humedad casera hecha con una botella de agua PET de 5 litros cortada por la mitad y pulverizando a diario. Han estado los 15 días en mi terraza con luz indirecta, y temperaturas que rondan los 30 - 32ºC durante las horas centrales del día Hoy los he trasplantado a una maceta de 1 litro porque ya habían formado raíces y empezaban a formar nuevas hojas! 🐥🐥🚀🐥🐥 Día 42 (13/07) Riego con 500 ml H20 pH 6,5 Día 43 (14/07) Trasplante a maceta definitiva de 21 litros de ROOTPLUS Pot de GSKOREA GLOBAL! Estas macetas son una maravilla! Proceso de trasplante: Se prepara con 17,85 Litros (85%) de sustrato PRO-MIX HP BACILLUS+MYCORRHIZAE + 1,05 Litros de Humus de Lombriz (5%) + 2,01 Litros de Insect Frass (10%) + 210 gramos de Earth Vibes Super Soil (10 g/L substrato) Se llena la maceta de sustrato con las manos (limpias) y rompiendo los trozos más gruesos, para que el sustrato esté aireado y esponjoso, sin presionar Se coloca una maceta vacía de 6,5L para que quede la forma perfecta de la maceta donde están actualmente Se espolvorea la parte proporcional de la probeta de microorganismos sobre el agujero de trasplante Se saca la planta de su maceta actual (bonitas raíces 😍) y se coloca en la maceta final Se riega muy lentamente hasta percolación profunda con H2O EC 0,5 pH 6,5 Una vez asentada, complemento con un riego de 500 ml con 25 ml/L de Humus de Lombriz Liquido Se coloca mulch (acolchado) de paja para evitar traspiración excesiva y cuidar a los microorganismos del suelo A ver como reacciona al trasplante! My Purple Kush plant is still the smallest in the tent, but hopefully it'll produce some good buds by the end. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

An incomprehensible problem at this strain.

I chopped the Glookies on day 70F, on day 74F I decided to chop the remaining GMO and Acapulco Gold. I didn't feed or water the last week as the soil was still pretty moist and I wanted to harvest soon-ish anyways, they faded quickly in the last few days.
