OMG OMG OMG finding hard to put on words all i am felling with this one, she was a delight to grow and without trying yet her medicine she wen strait to my top 3, i mean super strong Mama, strong to everything pests you name it, amazing structure her terpene profile is taking me back to the 90s with her almost like gasoline smell mixed with limes and pines OMG cant wait to try out this one much but much respect to DutchPassion on this creation of them she is so so so , like glue that you cant touch without getting it everywhere <3 <3 haded the last 3 weeks and harvest time-lapse i fell like this one could have gone more than the 71 days in flower that she did, but there is no time for that in this run but i will run her again thats for sure and a must for me. Harvest week for the Milky Way F1 growmies 🙌 Pretty happy with how she handled this cycle, recycled soil first time ever, dead of winter, undersized light for a 100x100 tent… she just kept going 💪 In previous runs I did scaled harvests, and every time I noticed a visible resin boost and even some anthocyanin production on some phenos, confirmed that a sudden light intensity increase late in flower does something interesting. This time I went a different route: last 6-7 days I stripped most of the non-resinous fan leaves and redirected a lateral bar onto the mid/lower zone to get the same effect. Curious if mechanical stress from defoliation plays a role here too, anyone know anything about jasmonic acid? 🤔 Late flower I pushed the setup to ~200w adding 660nm red bars at 40-50cm, which clearly tightened up the buds compared to previous runs 👀 Pulled the CO2 bottles in flower, without a way to measure it I’d rather focus on VPD and fresh air circulation 🤷 Kept them in veg where humidity tolerance is higher anyway. Now she’s drying and I can’t wait to see how the wet/dry ratio lands 🌿​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Auf Dünger habe ich verzichtet und die erste Pflanze wurde gespült. In ein bis zwei Wochen sollte dann auch endlich die Ernte sein. Habe jetzt nur festgestellt, das eine Pflanze gezwittert sein muss und ich vereinzelt ein paar Samen an der Royal Gorilla habe, was aber nicht weiter schlimm ist, da der Großteil der Blüten nicht befruchtet wurde und ich so noch ein paar Samen zum experimentieren habe 😬 Ansonsten heißt es beobachten und abwarten, auch wenn der Duft schon sehr verführerisch ist...🤤

Major changes here at Night Owl summer camp. Have had a rodent problem! Something has figured out a way to get into the dormitory (greenhouse)and had a feast on my plants. Five branches off the Harvey Wallbanger, and two each off the Vanilla Fizz and the 91Grapes. Oh my gosh! I needed to do something else. My wife gave me a spare bedroom for a grow nursery! What a girl I have! So spent the day yesterday moving tents and hanging lights and got the girls all situated in the new dormitory away from some vampire in the night. Will give an individual plant update shortly. ***ok, back. Let’s start with the Harvey Wallbanger. Miss Harvey was on her way to becoming my most interesting grow to date before she was devoured by some creature of the night. She’s a cross of Orange Diesel and Cookie Smasher and even at this early stage of flowering she’s producing a nice glossy sheen and sweet aroma to match. She is a towering 48 inches making her the tallest autoflower that I have ever grown. She is slender and resembles the structure of a clone but I believe her flowers themselves will be massive in size and trichomes production. To date she has yet to make a single leaf with more than five points on it. She is truly interesting. Next let’s explore the Vanilla Fizz. Ms. Fizz didn’t get it as bad as Miss Harvey but suffered significant injuries as well. Loosing two full branches and enough bottom bud sites that the bottom 30 percent is now already cleaned up. She is the bushiest of the three with plenty of growing bud sites. Standing a proud forty three inches tall she comes in last in height but may be stacked up the nicest. Last but certainly not least comes the 91Grapes. Since she received the least amount damage from nightly feastings we are going to feature her until harvest. Only loosing two branches and not much else she was spared from destruction. She is massive!!! Not a massive amount of vegetation just in size over all. She’s 44 inches tall and big enough around for a bear hug. She takes up the entire 40 inch by 40 inch tent all by herself. She was probably spared damage due to her size. Pom poms are everywhere as is evidence of cheerleading practices and she is captain of the squad. Going to have to get a little more creative with the way watering will be conducted in the future. The formula 707 soil is for retaining moisture in outdoor conditions so I am afraid that it will retain moisture indoors and be a pest problem.

Watered 50 Gal fresh plain PHed water, ppm was around 2100 so if the 50 gal doesn’t dilute it enough then I will vac out the remaining water and rinse out the totes to get the salt/sandy particles off the bottom. I noticed the 2 mars 1600 leds are not getting light evenly to all the canopy so for my next crop I will be getting 2-6’ light rails and stagger the lights as they move, at 5-15 watts each they should be more efficient than getting 2 more 630watt leds. Also next crop I will be downsizing my scrog to a 7’ x 7’ giving me a 1’ perimeter for working & admiring 🙏🤤

Flowering day 52 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) All ladies look very healthy and delicious :-) We're slowly getting closer to the end. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each (sewing materials see table above) At the next watering there is a very light rinse with Clean Fruits so that the last nutrients can be slowly used up. I’m still away on vacation, but my friend stopped by last night to check on the plants, and will come back today to tuck some of the new growth into the scrog. Will try and update again later this week, happy holidays! F11 update: Got some pics from my friend, plants are doing great and were just tucked into the scrog. Both of us were amazed at how much that back right branch grew overnight, at least 4 inches, the flowering stretch is real! Only a few more days of weaving the plants into the scrog and then it'll all upward growth from there.
