18/09/2022 - 42 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds๐ŸŒฑ The second week of flowering of my BCN Power Plant ๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒป Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - the girl responded well to the nutrient change, so I continue to feed the same as last week, when I set the nutrients for flowering Jungle Environ X - bud stimulators ๐ŸŒผ I am giving Advanced Nutrients - bud stimulators, Bud Ignitor for the last time this week Atami - ATA Calmag - it is recommended to use Calmag when growing under LED lights Training: LST: just a slight LST, I attached some small twigs with string so that more light shines on them ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’ก Defoliation: I did a bigger defoliation in the middle of the week so that the girl could breathe well and the big leaves wouldn't shade the twigs ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ Light: Mars Hydro TS1000, the girls are doing amazing under this great light, I can see a big difference compared to my past results ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’“ The girl is slowly turning into a big lady, her stems are strong, regularly grown, so that massive buds can form on them ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐ŸŒฒ You can see white tufts of pistils on the stems, in this week of flowering they are just right and look like a blanket of snow โ„๏ธโ„๏ธ She is already a strong lady revealing her beauty. ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿ’“ The box emits a soft scent that reminds of fruit and earth, but it's a gentle whiff ๐Ÿ‡๐ŸŒ Thanks for the likes and you can follow me on Twitter ๐Ÿฆ: @ Targona666 See you soon ๐Ÿ˜

Y me salio desastrozo, mi primera vez.

May 11: wildfire smoke rolled in this morning for the first time this year. Last year was horrible but hopefully this year wonโ€™t be as bad. Today was stay inside the house sort of bad smoke but itโ€™s supposed to blow over soon. Hope. Plant looks good and happy in the final container. May 12: took out a couple of small cedars and I have a new sunniest spot in the yard, or at least for the next 12 weeks or so. Todayโ€™s sunlight is like what it will be like in early August (6 weeks to solstice). May 16: cool and rainy today but some sun at the end. Sheโ€™s still doing great, and definitely better than most of my previous starts. I think I had the soil too wet before, or maybe the apple thing actually works. Either way sheโ€™s off to a good start and weโ€™re on schedule with the May long weekend coming up. May 17: cool and rainy all day. Left plant in the mini-greenhouse all day.

So we have had a heck of a week. Fought the gnats and maybe won part of the war. I replanted the troubled girl into a fabric pot with roots 707 only. I figured it can't get worse, right? The other gal that topped herself is doing amazing! She's going to be a big ole girl!

The little one grows well and in good health, it is only a little smaller than what we imagined and other little sisters who are in the same conditions. We tried an inexperienced hst on a side branch to see what happens. We spray neem solution + potassium soap every 3 days for protection and lord grow nourishing foliar every 15 days for leaf nutrition and co2 protection.

The first experiment I decided to do on the mother plant is a two-tiered pot. I cut the Cup and put it in a plastic plastic canister, wrapped with tape the upper tier of the pot, so that the light does not interfere with the roots, but the lower tier I left open, to nablidat for the development of the root system and show you. I also cut the four lower large vegetative leaves so that they do not interfere with the access of light to the side branches. Now the plant is 2 weeks old, it has been living in a new house for 3 days and has already adapted and taken new roots.

๐ŸŒฑ Day 8 โ€” Veg Nutrient strength kept light (โ‰ˆ180 ppm) for root development. Water level just below net pots; bubbles lightly mist the bottoms. Reservoir and pH stable throughout the week. No visible roots yet. Will transfer the 4 best plants into the alien aero system when: Roots are long, white, and branching โ€” at least 4โ€“6 inches hanging freely into the SuperPonics reservoir. Root tips are firm and bright (not soft or brown). The plants have at least 3โ€“4 sets of true leaves and are starting to accelerate growth. ๐ŸŒฑ Day 10 โ€” Veg Roots have finally reached the water. Will look to transplant in the next 5 days or so.

All good, week 4 started. Raised the EC from 2.1 to 2.5! Shouldn't be too much with Athena blended line. No signs of stress or overfeeding!

Day 64: It seems to go well. I am still keeping an eye on the "hanging" leaves. I think they tend to hang a little more when light on, and less with light off but its hard to say if it is normal. It might be as @GrowingGrannie mentioned, they might be under watered, as there is not much run-off at the last couple of watering's, maybe 1l each time and I will give them a 30% run-off next time to be sure UPDATE: I have noticed some more brown spots on the right plant caused by Calcium Deficiency. I think I should up the PH a bit more, going for 6.5 this time. I will also increase my CalMag supplement by 50%, and do 30% run-off today Day 66: Thank you all for the kind answers ๐Ÿ™ You all have different opinions, and it is hard to pinpoint the exact problem. I am almost certain that I got some heat/light stress as mentioned by @GrowingGrannie and @Chow_13. I have therefore raised the lamp and are keeping the dimmer very low, using about 140W in total. I am still investigating if there might be other problems to it. @m0use, thank you for your answer. I do not think they are thirsty, at least not any more, as I am already on the subject for the last couple of days. About PH, It was difficult to get a good picture of the PH solution, but it was light-green to green (6.5-7.0) on the picture (And that was run-off PH) and what I put in was adjusted slowly from yellow to light-green aka 6.0-6.5 (I wrote 6.25 but it was auto adjusted) @gottagrowsometime, thank you for the answer. I do not think it is a nitrogen toxicity. My leaves aren't that dark green, although they are a bit to the dark side but not like what I see on other pictures with that problem. I also think the curling is caused by light/heat stress as I just got a new lamp and are experimenting with it. But I will keep your suggestion in the back of my head! @Chow_13, thank you very much for your answer. I think you are spot on, however I am not sure it is the only problem... It might be as you say, nutrients are not absorbed correctly due to the light-stress, but I will not put all my money on that @Nugsery and @GrowingGrannie, a big thank you for your answers. The deficiencies might not be the same, but the cure is very similar. I cannot make up who is right, but I do have a plan. I will follow your recommendation @GrowingGrannie and @Nugsery, and do a flush, but with a ph 5.8 as both nutrients should be able to be absorbed in that level. I will then give her a light nutrient mix and adding PK, also 5.8 ph. This is almost the same solution for both deficiencies. I will then slowly get the ph back to 6.2 @ernesttwwg, thank you for your answer. I have known for some time I have some Interveinal chlorosis, but I do not know what is causing it. There is multiple deficiencies giving those symptoms. The tacoing of leaves, and leaf tips curling down I think is caused by the light, and I have therefor raised the light. I will keep investigating the symptoms you mention OBS: I will not edit my nutrient schema as this is only temporarily, next watering will be as described UPDATE: After flushing with 15L~ ph 5.8~ and a small feed with 5.8~ ph I still get about 6.5~ ph in my run-off water. I am going to do another flush tomorrow to see I can bring it down to around 6.0~ ph Day 67: I think I see small improvements on the leaves. The new heat/light level seem to have done something. I did that second flush and are still getting about 6.5 ph in run-off.... I think I will let her dry for now, monitoring what happens, and do another flush in a couple of days

On day 1 I adjusted the PH from 6.6 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 13.75" away from light. On day 2 I adjusted the PH from 6.4 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 12.5" away from light. On day 3 the PH is 6.2. The tallest cola is 11.5" from the light. On day 4 I didn't take data points long day... On day 5 the rez PH is 6.2. the tallest cola is 10" from the light. On day 6 the rez PH is 6.0. The tallest cola is 9.5" from the light. I defoliated heavily to bring in more light and airflow. On day 7 The tallest cola is 9" from the light. I mixed up a new rez.
