Week 8 Veg Report: Mentha de Croco Mutants 🌱✨ Welcome to another exciting update in the Mentha de Croco mutant run! As always, these beauties continue to surprise and captivate with their unique growth patterns and stunning individuality. Let’s dig into the details of this week! 🌟 Growth & Development This week marks a turning point for the girls! While their slow but steady growth continues, I decided to top a few of them. Why? Topping not only encourages bushier growth but also allows the untopped plants to catch up, creating a more balanced canopy moving forward. Each one is still showcasing those jaw-dropping unique traits that make this run feel like a gallery of natural art. The Mentha de Croco mutants truly live up to their name, with each leaf telling its own story—some broad and serrated, others narrow and elongated, all equally breathtaking. Watching them evolve week by week is a lesson in patience and appreciation for the beauty of diversity in nature. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions Good news on the environmental front! The room’s temperature has stabilized to a more comfortable range, with daytime temps at 22°C and RH steady at around 66%. These are near-ideal conditions for vegetative growth, helping the girls to stay happy and stress-free. The stable climate contributes to the vibrant health and vigor they display—always praying to the lights like the champions they are! 💧 Feeding & Nutritional Care Nutritionally, we continue with the tried-and-true regimen: • Aptus Regulator 🌟 • CalMag Boost • Start Booster I’ve completely transitioned to using the All-in-One Pellets, which are doing a fantastic job of delivering slow-release organic nutrition directly in the soil. The decision to stop liquid feedings with the All-in-One Liquid was the right move, and it’s clear the girls are loving the steady supply of essential nutrients right at their roots. Additionally, I’ve been sticking to bottom-watering. Filling the trays and allowing the soil to wick up moisture not only ensures the roots get what they need but also keeps pesky gnats at bay—especially when paired with yellow sticky traps. This method has made a noticeable difference in keeping the grow area clean and pest-free! 🛠️ Cultivation Techniques: To Clone or Flip? The big question of cloning or flipping still hangs in the air. I’m taking my time to observe and assess their progress. Each plant is so unique that I want to give them the space and time to reveal their full potential before deciding. Let’s touch on the two potential strategies for next steps: 1. Flipping to 12/12 for a Short Period: This would allow me to determine sex quickly, but it can stress the plants slightly. 2. Cloning: Creating clones and flipping them instead is a great way to preserve the integrity of the main plants while identifying males and females without disrupting their growth cycle. Both approaches have their merits, and I’m leaning toward cloning once they’re big enough to snip without harm. 📸 Photography Corner: Highlighting Details This week, I brought out the cameras again—my trusty Nikon and Sony with interchangeable lenses—because, let’s face it, phone cameras just don’t do justice to the intricate beauty of these plants. Whether it’s the textures of the leaves or the play of light on the water droplets, having the right lens makes all the difference. For close-ups, I used a macro lens, which allowed me to capture every vein and serration on those incredible mutant leaves. For a wider perspective, I switched to a standard lens to showcase their overall growth. Defoliated her Today. She doesn't Look that big anymore.😄 But i think she'll Take the Training good. First i defoliated and after that i have her water and a little Bit of Bio grow and calmag. We'll See how she'll Deal with it. Stay tuned 🤙🏽

Week 1 Day 1 - Clones #1 and #2 are looking alright, not super strong and slight nutrient deficiency issues, but OK. Will just observe for now. - These clones are currently under a very mild CFL light (20 cm away and about 200 ppfd measured roughly by phone app - Tent Buddy.) - Clone #3 still need to be covered to maintain moisture. Yesterday I un-cupped the clone and it wilted a lot. This morning it looks better again after a night of rest under the plastic cup. - I've checked the run off and these clone's pH are so low, while TDS are so high (pH 5.7 and TDS 800pm). This evening, I flushed them with pH 6.5 water and brought the runoff to about pH 6.0 and 350 ppm) Week 1 Day 2 - Just foliage spray with mild CalMag this morning. Soil is still moist, so no watering. Week 1 Day 3 - Just minor watering today. Glad to see the clones are doing well as they are growing a bit everyday. Will transfer them to 3 gallon airpots with new soil mix soon. Week 1 Day 4 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Add 5ml of 250 ppm of balanced NPK nutrients AN B52 for each plant. Week 1 Day 5 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Transfer them to 3 gallon airpots. Week 1 Day 6 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Skip watering. The clones responded OK to the new airpots. Week 1 Day 7 - TBA

Hi all. I am very pleased with this week's growth and results The Bruce Banner #3 is stacking her nodes perfectly now and has a very wide footprint too. lots of bud sites and mains to add flowers too. Even the shaded lower growth is bursting with new pistils. Candy Rain has 3 very happy mains with lower branching that has bud clusters at the tops . Her open growth pattern will be good to allow the air through amd also the light that dribbles through from the main canopy. She is beginning to put out a slight fruity apple scent now too. The main stems.should form up together nicely too I hope. Both of the Jealousy ladies are very productive with bud clusters and growth all over their huge frames. They ate really good sized girls amd in an open space with lots of light , I could see a huge yield from this strain. I am impressed at how much potential bud is on them under a single shared 450w l.e.d !!! I am at full 14.6g/10L on the megacrop feeds now and adding 5ml of pk warrior too and they are loving it. I am tucking and shuffling leaves around to keep the ladies lower flowers within the range of light. I was pleasantly surprised by the Bruce banners lower growth so will be mindful of the moisture build up now. Until next week. be lucky

Did a boat load of work on her ran out of freaking tie downs will run a garb some this week want to open her up some more. Did some l lollipop also not a lot but enough to get the energy going to the top sites for the next few weeks.

Week 7

Okay, this week, we saw another wonderful week with this young lady. She has recovered so well from Last weeks topping on Tuesday, that her final topping actually occurred this today (sunday). 12 days to recover and grow 4 nodes and 3" of horizontal stretch. Also, thanks to Bloombuster, I was able to math out how much veg growth left I had available before I risk getting too tall for the tent. Using his math, my measurements, and a little playing around, What we have so far is this 2" Of Height to the 1st topping, 3" of length to the 2nd topping, 3" of length to the 3rd topping That gives me currently 8" Of Growth, only 2" of which have been used vertically. I have 25" To work with total plant height, allowing 15" between plant and light at the light's maximum height. So with those numbers in mind, I crunched it, put it in excel, played around, and came out with 5" of growth left available to me vertically I am working with an estimate of 140% additional growth during bloom cycle. As such, we will multiple by 2.4, Original Plant Size and New Growth Included. Math works out as 2" + 6" = 8" + 5" = 13" x 2.4 = 31.2 - 6" = 25.2" So if I am correct, which happens from time to time, I can let he grow to a total of 7" High, 5" higher during veg before I am wise to go to bloom. I estimate this means, watching her previous recovery and growth, I will be putting her to flowing within the next 3 weeks.

Last day of the 3rd week and first day of 4th week. Plants bounced back completely from my 10 days absence, and they're praying as always when approaching correctly with Aptus nutrients. In order to prepare them for late flowering, I fed them in previous week with added Fulvic Blast. The very next feeding I gave them beneficial bacteria again with Micromix Drip, before they start receiving the highest ammount of phosphorus. Now I stop with adding any additional nitrogen (Startbooster) as they stopped stretching and they will focus their energy into flowers, so I'm implementing the Topbooster which helps our plants with sugars and brix level. Are you aware of brix and what does it means for your plants health and taste in the end product? If not, start reading and discovering, thank me later 🙏

We start the 9th week ! I will stop fertiliser from now on and let Gigi and Bella pump their energy from their leaves 🍁 Flowers are getting strong and full of matter ! I hope they will keep having more and more density. I am so happy of this first inside grow, with this Sweet Bourbons Kush I didn’t know ! Can’t wait the harvest !! "Hi, I received my pH meter this week, so from week 6 onwards, I'm aiming for a pH value of 6.0 - 6.5. This week, I noticed that the plant in the small pot received too much fertilizer. The other two 7.5-liter fabric pots also received double the recommended amount according to the feeding schedule, but they don't show any signs of over-fertilization."

6/23 Due To The Two 8 Day weeks this week will only consist of five days to get me back on track. SEE LAST WEEK FOR DETAILS. I DID ANOTHER EIGHT DAY WEEK. I'LL DO THIS WEEK AS SIX DAYS. THAT WAY IM BACK ON SCHEDULE. WATERED 6/22. WENT BACK AT NIGHTCAND WATERED ANOTHER GALLON WITH 1/3 TSP Armor Si. I mixed the solution with kelp you kelp me but I dumped it out. I've mixed silica with other nutes before but I had read something earlier about bioavailability issues and I didn't want to risk it. My plants are the healthiest I've ever grown. I'm considering transplanting the large 10th planet that I'm light depping. I also need to develop my ipm and my nute schedule. Still gonna have to keep an eye onvthe water situation. Luckily I have a buddy in my corner that's co tinualkt Bern a great help. WENT BACK OVER AROUND NOON. BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE AND THE PLANTS WERE LOVING THIS SUN. I DEFOLIATED SOME BURNED LEAVES AND MIXED A SOLUTION IF KELP ME KELP YOU THAT I PLAN TO FEED TO THE GARDEN TODAY. IM HAPPY WITH HOW THINGS ARE GOING. WE HAVE SOME RAIN AND THINDERSTORMS COMING. I NEED TO GET MY IPM UP AND RUNNING AND THE NUTES ONLINE. I ALSO NEED TO DECIDE IF IM GOING TO TRANSPLANT THE LIGHT DEP 10th PLANET. Went back over to put the girls to bed at six and if was still 90 degrees. The water from yesterday had dissipated. The tops were dust dry. I mixed two gallons of kelp you kelp me and fed it to the garden. Afterwards I pointed qbd found a couple plants that were more open to the wind were a little lighter. I know tomorrow will be very hot. Maybe quarter inch of rain. However after that it will rain (showers) off and on for days. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. TUCKED THE LITTLE GIRLS IN AT SIX AND SHOT A VIDEO AND TOOK SOME PUCTURES. PLANTS LOOKED PHENOMINAL! GOT HOME AND AROUND SEVEN IT JUST STARTED RORREBTIAL DOWNPOURS! THE TYPE OF RAIN THAT BREAKS STEMS. I SHOULDVE PUT MY OTHET TARP UP BUT I DIDNT. I WISH I HAD. IM A LITTLE NERVOUS. I KNOW THESE GIRLS ARE STRONG THOUGH! TOMORROW. ILL ROLL THE RARP UP AND SECURE THE BOTTOM FOR FAST ACCESS. IM ALSO GOING TO KOOK INTO FINDING A TOP FOR MY CAGE I CAN USE IN INCLIMENT WEATHER. 6/25 That little qtr in of rain we were supposed to get turned into torrential downpours and high winds. Luckily no REAL damage. If you watch the video you'll see what I mean. I'm going to havecto be cognizant moving forward. Noticed a few chunks from leaves butvplants are still healthy. I'm surprised how well these girls withstood this storm. They are certainly resilient. The 2 purple punch 1 10th planet that I'm light depping are flowering nicely now. They missed all the commotion from the storm as they were inside. It's smelling good. I'm happy. 6/26 It's what a friend would say is "maineing") out. That mistcthe plants love. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!

Letting her rip. Full on feeding now she seemed to have a deficiency this last week. Seemed it was a bit too cold for her new growth. It has darkened up as I turned the heat back up in my house. Strawberry cough is stinky. The smaller one doesn't really smell. Not expecting much from her. Started my vanilla frosting haze crosses on like Wednesday. Oh I added worm castings to both top soils and a layer of rice hulls over top as a mulch layer. I did this to help the soil in case the yellowing was from a ph issue or somehow a nitrogen issue which I doubt.

Hello everyone, It was a disappointing week with 2 of my biggest buds getting budrot i cut them in half. I presume there will be more to come but it is what it is. I started flushing and the runoff is under 400 ppm i also started removing leaves so that the plants have less nutrients to consume. From today I gonna keep humidity at 45% not higher than that.
