Was a busy week in this tent . Needed my 2x4 tent for some tutankhamon that I have coming up so this big girl got a roommate . Starting to have to feed her every day and a half and she's drinking 1.75 gallon each time . Also had some leaves higher up taco and the tips of the edges go brown and figured out that I sm pretty much over driving the plant with the light . So dropped it down to 70% for now to see how it reacts .

Amber is coming in nicely, top to bottom - starting 1 week flush! ~As one only can in *Hydroponics (& coco). It's not "bro science" it's biology 101. It does not boost thc, it does nothing to terpene production. Simply put - we are ensuring/pushing a fall fade, that in soil you may or may not get naturally as nutrients are always present, (I'm not seeing growers emulate late fall weather to do it that way... /shrug). This week was great took some more cuttings .....testing wich method is more successful .... airoponics vs coco perlite mix Same light same hours ...no nutrients ....lost 1in the coco perlite dome

More heavy defoliation more pony railing tops as they grow out . Before there were 11 tops tied now there were 18 tops tied . Overall she probably looks the exact same as 4 weeks ago but she has been doing a lot of leg work for the the grow to come . I’m still waiting to see these top dressed nutes start becoming available to her . I’m also curious to see what response , if any, she gives to the worm castings I topped dressed her with . She’ll be going to a 6 gal pot in about 3-3&1/2 once it’s time to feed her again . At the exact End of this week I’ve just untied all her tops . Give us a like .

Two of the main buds have some bud rot due to the high humidity of the 2 last days ... high humidity due to the fact that I am working without air extractor and box half open but I've closed my box for less than. 48h and when zinc opened it the wall were full of water drops ( more than drops ) To help with that issue I've done a defoliation to have a better air circulation around the buds even if it's not recommended to do it that far in flowering. I've also observed the trichomes and they are mostly cloudy with a few brown and like 40% of clear trichs : surprising as the looks like she may need 1 extra week or 2 before cutting

Day 78: This week I only gave them water with regulator, humic-blast and ezymen because they where ready to harvest. Those others from last week where kept inside a dark room for some days before cutting them down. By doing this, your plants will increase making thc. In the middle of this week i also putted some plants inside the dark/drying room to make them ready to harvest. These will also be in the dark for a few days before I harvest them. At the end of this week all other plants are in the dark as well for a couple of days, i will keep them in the grow room because there is no point to move them to the other room lol. Because i put them into the dark for days instead of cutting them down, I can cut them fresh and put them in drying nets instead of putting the full plant upside down on ropes. I will use a cutting machine for this.

The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. A month in now to flowering and all is still good. Stretch has stopped and the 2nd net is on about 1 foot above the first. I would have liked to have done a bit more defoliation earlier on in flowering but it was a busy few week. Still kept her on the lower side for nutrients and notice the one plant that got locked out earlier in the month was not as pretty as the rest and showing signs of deficiency still on her leaves but the buds are developing normal like the others, bigger even maybe...lol all in all it’s still looking good at this point. Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Hey everyone! Volume hasn't increased dramatically this week, but trichome production has gone into overdrive. And honestly, that makes me just as happy. Pistils are still almost entirely white, so the colas haven't fully expressed their potential yet. There's more to come. Temperatures hit 31°C during the day and 28-29°C at night, yet the Rainbows have maintained solid vigor throughout. Runoff EC came in only 0.2 points above input, so the nutrient solution stays unchanged. Plants are clearly in a good place. One thought though: could the trichome explosion be a natural defense response to the heat? What do you all think? 🤔 Good luck to everyone and as always critiques and advice are more than welcome! 🙌

Erste Herbstwoche ist ohne Probleme überstanden. Starker Regen hat die Blüten komplett durchfeuchtet, aber am Folgetag mit Wind und Sonne wieder komplett getrocknet. Unter der Last des Regenwassers haben sich einige Ruten extrem gebogen, aber keine ist gebrochen. Die kräftigen, gut durch Wind trainierten Äste tragen die Dolden💪. Die buds von Larry sind schon schön dick und harzig. AK hat ordentlich zugelegt, obwohl es recht kühl war. Es läuft immernoch erstaunlich gut 👍 bis nächste Woche ✌️

Day 91 she’s huge and starting to bulk up. Her green color has returned once I got the ph issue under control I wasn’t sure if it was going to return. She was very sensitive to the water quality. I’m excited to Watch her bulk up she’s a slow finisher for sure. But you can’t rush perfection.
