Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Week 9 marks a turning point for the grow. The main plants are deep into flower now, with dense buds that glisten under the HPS light. 04/25/2021 Going well her first pistils are fading, or changing color but either way first flowering stage is coming to a close, I am going to feed her this week with Alaska fish fertilizer 5-1-1 this should help power through her last weeks of flowering without to much nitrogen. But I am betting on 4 more weeks of flowering... What do you think?....

Week 5 we seen a very fast entrance into flower. We have it it's first feeding of supercharged flower feed at a small dose. I took a good amount of leafs but not too many as don't want to stress her out too much

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had high temperatures of 88°F, clear skies, and lots of sunshine. I watered 2-2.5 gallons per pot, from the water hose. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 90 with lots of sunshine. I gave them 2.5 gallons of water per pot. Day 3 we had lots of sunshine and a high temperature of 91°F. I watered these about 2-2.5 gallons twice today. Day 4 we had high temperature of 86°F. I watered about 2.5 gallons per pot. Day 5 we had mostly sunny skies with a high temperature of 88°F. I watered about 2.5 gallons from the water hose. I added 50ml of Ferrous Sulfate top dressed to each pot. I added 50 ml of blood meal top dressed around the pot. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 88°F with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2-2.5 gallons once today. Day 7 we had high temperature of 89 with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2-2.5 gallons per pot. This week was a success. These girls got a boost of nitrogen they needed. I was really focusing on the lemons and cheesecake, and noticed their hunger late. I'll be adding more nitrogen next week.
