Buenas chicos, Pues ya entramos a inicio de la semana 2 de floración, las plantas van tomando forma y se les aplico limpieza de bajo y un poco de desfoliacion en la parte superior, se subió la EC y se le introdujo el co2 a 1200 ppm para inicio, como podran ver en el video y las imágenes, van de maravillas. 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrfication process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

Great grow, dealt with some pests that took a few plants from me . But overall my best grow quality so far and I’m very happy with the grow!

09/18/2021 At battle with catapillar this week Hand picking them off, some bud rot caused by catapillar's . Light defoiliating dying, yellowing leaves. Hand picking is tedious but well worth the effort. Feeding neptunes harvest 2-3-1 this is last week of feeding. Drinking lots of water this week gave each plant 2.0 gallons of Neptunes Harvest 2-3-1 hope it works out couldn't find fox farms, or big buds but I'm sure they will be fine.....will feed again on Friday then plain water for 3-4 weeks till harvest. Feeding should get them through the next two weeks then watering plain water should flush anything not needed by plants. Girls are thirsty this week, just in time for feeding! Neptunes Harvest seems to do the trick. Pistils piling on like crazy so one more feeding on Friday Of 2-3-1 and Week 7-8 banana peel tea, she should start Fattening up,and fading nicely by week 8-9.🙏🏻 The NPK value for banana skins is 0.6-0.4-11.5. But this is the value for dried banana skins. (I will make tea from peels) not sure of N-P-K Is for peel tea? But it works well in my opinion. Day # 6 week 6 applied gypsum today gypsum should help a little with PH issues,7.0 a little to alkaline but she will grow, but she thrive at 6.2 PH

One more week up we go :) i'.m doing 14h light 5h out 1h light 4 out since they are enjoying it so much i'm going to keep it up until i change to 12/12. the one hour ligth in the midle is just to prevent them from switching to flower. Hi growers, And that's a wrap for this grow diary! What a great experience this grow has been. It was my first time growing Jack Herer, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better introduction to this legendary cultivar. I was lucky enough to find two completely different phenotypes, and I genuinely enjoyed growing both of them. The Haze pheno especially blew me away with its incredible aroma and authentic old school character. Now it's time for a slow dry, a proper cure, and then the best part... seeing how these ladies really shine after a few weeks in the jars. A huge thank you to everyone who followed the diary, left comments, and shared advice along the way. Byla to parádní jízda. Jacka Herera jsem pěstoval úplně poprvé a lepší seznámení s touto legendární genetikou jsem si ani nemohl přát. Měl jsem štěstí na dva úplně rozdílné fenotypy a pěstování obou mě opravdu bavilo. Haze fenotyp mě navíc naprosto dostal svou neuvěřitelnou vůní a pravým old school charakterem. Teď už je čas na pomalé sušení, pořádné zrání a pak přijde ta nejlepší část, zjistit, jak se naplno projeví po pár týdnech ve sklenicích. I'm very happy with this weeks progress. They transitioned very well to the garden, which I'm chocking up to the row cover. They didn't need any water due to the thunderstorm we had last night, but I did make a ring around the base of each plant and gave them about 1-2 TBSP of the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend fertilizer. They also got their tomato cages.

Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔

In the second week the plant has now started to produce its first set of single bladed leafs.

A principios de semana quité del armario la nº5 al haber exceso de plantas dentro. La saqué fuera a exterior con dos más que descarté antes. El resto de la semana poquita cosa.

The plants were fed 3 days ago for the last time.. after the soil has dried, only flawless finish will go (probably from tomorrow) for the next 10-12 days, how long will it last... Glookies has a strong, exotic smell, it smells a lot like melon, sometimes a little like coffee... the smell is intense and can be felt even at 40-50 meters, especially at night... it is currently in full potency, some 90% trichomes are cloudy-milky and sometimes amber, when it is removed it will be exactly what an indica dominant hybrid should be... Dos Si Dos 33# also smells a bit like melon, but I think it will completely lose that smell by the end, no lime, citrus and mint as it says, it smells mostly like gelato, which makes sense because it's genetics,but I like it...it's like I planted gelato lol...but unfortunately I won't leave it as long as it requires because the weather won't allow it, I'll take it down in 12 days at the latest because after that the temperatures will go up to 3 degrees Celsius at night, the humidity will go over 70 , it's going to rain, there's no point in keeping it longer than that, I'm just increasing the risk of mold, and it's not like I haven't already thrown away a couple of moldy heads...50% of the trichomes are cloudy-milky, the rest are transparent and some amber... I hope that by the end it will be able to achieve at least full potency because time will not allow for more amber These plants are real viking warriors, they didn't miss a bit of stress, but thank the dear Gods, it was reflected in the potency, and not in the production of seeds... this season is the worst season I've ever experienced, and so are my plants ...throughout the season they were under stress, and I was under even more stress...the weather in May and June was cold, without enough sun, temperatures were low, constant rain, ice and storms...after that came abnormal temperatures that easily exceeded 60 degrees Celsius in the direct sun....drought for almost 3 months, without a drop of rain, on the hottest days some plants drank 100+ liters of water, including food, I couldn't believe it with my own eyes... outdoor this year cost me more than if I did indoor... there were a lot of storms throughout the season... the last storm completely uprooted 3 of my plants and I had to take them down... of course I didn't manage to cut that much grass in time, so I ended up with over 600 g of dry moldy gorilla zkittlez( that's about it, the quarter that I cut gave 150 grams of dry matter, so I realized that there was no reason to continue cutting) it got worse because I didn't have time to cut it, and it was soaked from the rain... I still can't complain even if I I don't like the smell, I'm not a fan, it's potent and the work is relaxing and divine, I managed to save about 20 grams without it being touched at all... I have more strains that have been in jars for some time, but this is not the place for them now, I will certainly include some footage of them in jars as well...all the strains are superb and each is beautiful in its own way...I couldn't stop I decide on just one... dos si dos 33, runtz x layer cake, glookies and mimosa x orange punch I'm definitely planting again in the future.. I'm also interested in what barney's amnesia lemon is like because I really like this one, so next year I'll probably plant it too Dos si dos is about 120 cm tall, glookies 2 m These two plants had additional stress unlike the others which also didn't suffer...they were in smart pots, staked and one morning I go for a tour and see the plant broken, and the pot torn all the way, like a beast that was there.. .did some wild animal fly over there and got tangled up and uprooted it all... and it was as if someone had cut it with a knife, after a few days the same with the other plant, the same completely... then I seriously started to i mean someone is casting a spell on me lol then they were transplanted in early bloom into direct soil Then glookies was transplanted to a place with much less sun than it was in, but at that moment I couldn't choose, what is there is..

Week 5 of flower is over! This grow is going by so fast because I'm so busy with so many other things I feel like I haven't really paid much attention to these girls but they are doing so well. Bulking up heavy now. Smell is amazing. Very dense buds. Can't wait to try this one out. Few weeks left now.

📆 Semana 2 Floración en marcha con estiramiento sano y controlado. Los pistilos ya se hacen visibles y la estructura se abre bien, favoreciendo la luz en los futuros puntos florales. El color se mantiene uniforme y el vigor es estable. Se inicia Sticky Finger para acompañar el arranque floral sin forzar. Semana de transición sólida. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Todo marcha bien!! Creo que lo fundamental en esta semana es arta humedad y riego foliar por encima, pero en las raíces tratar de no llenar de agua ya que a esta temprana edad la plántula no tiene tanta raíces formadas, lo que provoca que se estanquen, quedando enanas y mostrando carencias por no poder beber. Trataré de seguir como voy, saludos 🍀

Hello Diary. The first week of vegetation is behind me and for now all the plants are growing nicely on my little farm. I put the Fat Banana in the middle between the two Haze Berrys, I'll see how it fits her there. I started adding BioBizz on schedule for the first week of vegetation and p.H. I regulate with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. The temperature and humidity are satisfactory, so I no longer used a humidifier. Here's how the week went. 25/09/2020 - Day 1. Photography. Fat Banana is officially 1. day old. I mean by the first day when the plant gets the other two leaves. Then it is no longer sprout. Fat Banana - Day 1. - 5.5 cm Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.8 degrees and 52% humidity. 26/09/2020 - Day 2. Watering. First feeding. I regulated p.H. at 6.1 and added BioBizz's Root-Juice - 4ml / L, Bio-Heaven 2ml / L and Acti-Vera 2ml / L. Each plant received a liter of water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.9 degrees and 45% humidity. 29/09/2020 - Day 5. Watering. p.H. is regulated to 6.3 and I added BioBizz on a schedule for the first week. Like three days earlier. This time I watered with 1.5 lit. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.2 degrees and 45% humidity. 01/10/2020 - Day 7. Photography. The first week is officially behind us. Fat Banana is progressing nicely, although it lags a bit behind Haze Berry's roommate, but otherwise everything is cool. Fat Banana - 10 cm - Day 7. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.8 degrees and 50% humidity. What to say at the end of the first week, I am pleased with how the plants are progressing and I will try to please them as best I can.
