Notes on the Hey Abby Grow Box
Monday morning, the door to the box would not open. I do not use the child lock so I was confused. I opened the app and the box is offline. I do not know when this happened during the night. That is the reason the door would not open. I had to use the key that I used to open the box initially after shipment. So keep your key.
Response time regarding the offline issue was over 5 hours as they are in California.
Resolution was to delete the app and reload. However, it took 3+ days for the resolution. They kept sending me the startup, how to connect by Wi-Fi, Customer support is lacking. The box had been working for 10 days. Fortunately, the app reset with the same data regarding the grow cycle and nothing was lost.
Also good thing I checked the settings, I found that switching from germination to autoflower, the light cycle changed from 16/8 to 12/12. I usually run autos on 18/6. I decided to run at 16/8 for now.
The calendar within the app has scheduled daily tasks that indicate what to do when, which includes watering, LST, trimming, adding amendments etc. I created a grow plan based on the scheduled tasks in the calendar. It is downloadable in Excel if you want to create a grow plan for yourself. Note, i easnt able to ioload excel. When you complete them, you check off the calendar. All the highlights in orange are the calendar prompts for tasks.
The blogs indicate the Abby Button should show the environmental stats. Mine does not so I asked if I should get a new button or is my model the basic one without that feature. Mine is the basic version and the button does not show stats. However, if I say Hey Abby it makes a tone as if expecting voice commands.

The grow is nearing its end. Apart from the completely different phenotypes of the Strawberry Gummies, I'm actually really satisfied... I've only watered with Flawless this week, and you can see that autumn has definitely arrived... I'll be taking out the two front Strawberry Gummies later; they've reached the desired ripeness. The remaining plants will stay for another week.

Day 66 ... the weather get´s more worst too cloudy and cold at night 😱😫😵... so i decide to harvest today 😃👍
Now "Hilde 2.0" is hanging in the dark in the basement and can dry... I'm curious to see how the harvest turns out 😃🙌🙏

🤔 : I'm a little worried about the twisted growth of the leaves. A YouTube viewer mentioned that this could be due to genetics in Fastbuds. So I looked at my old grows. Yes, they all have it, just not as pronounced. I think it was due to underwatering. The leaves were papery. My Soil is peat moss heavy. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem to bother her.
On day 28 I poked my finger into the soil at different moisture levels and noticed that fewer or no roots had grown in the drier areas compared to the moister ones. The roots are essentially performing air pruning. However, I want roots to grow in the less moist areas of the pot as well. For this, moist soil is necessary. The plant can only perform air pruning once its roots have filled the pot.

This week went really great! Plants are looking super healthy today at day 22 from seed!! Today they got a dose of just pure water phd at 6.5 ! Temperature an humidity has been staying pretty stable everyday, staying around 70-75 degrees and 58-61 % humidity!! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! 10-13-2025 Date of nutrients giving. Im starting to add sugar to her like aphrodite extract. Next wanted to add Hi-brix from some reason I've had more terp's using this. what I noticed was that it help long gate the terp's making that crystal 🔮 shine. Now just gotta stay on top of feed rate and not take a break gotta lock in. No signs of purple yet it should start in 1 or 1.5 weeks from now of what photos I've saw at this point peace, love and hair grease 😍 RAge till next show

The first in breaking the shield was the pheno number 2 on this pair of jack orange! Let's see how they keep developing!!
Out of the 2 seeds that I started only one was good and I decided to discard the #1 because of a deformation or a genetic fail. So I just kept #2, hope you like this strain!

Esa familia, de nuevo e vuelto para actualizar las candy caramelo, también trasplantamos a su maceta definitiva, amarillean las hojas de abajo porque ya pedían un trasplante, y hasta que se amolden al nuevo sustrato.
Ph controlado temperatura 22/26 y humedad algo baja 60% aunque pronto cambiaremos el ciclo lumínico.
Hasta ahora esto es lo que hay y mientras catamos la cosecha anterior, os iré actualizando demás diarios con sus respectivas cosechas fumetillas, un saludo y hasta la próxima semana.

She was trained once again with topping.

Today is day 10 of flower, and this girl is stretchin as she should... this grow has been flawless from the second I dropped the seed in the medium.. Great vigor all she wants to do is grow .. i love Maxibloom...Zamnesia Seeds is 2 for 2 i think.. The watermelon candy turned out to be a banger, and this Sundae Driver 🍨 is looking like she's gonna be the same. She has a smell coming from her already, and there's not even a bract in site.. *Increased ppm from 950 to 1050.
*the plants where to big so I did do some trimming on them and took clones.
*Started flowering. Hope the size is not an issue maybe I’ll cut it down some more.

Day 43 - 30.12. installed 2nd fan
Day 44 - 31.12. watered all three plants with 2l reg. nutes. look droopy
Day 45 - 1.1.2020
Day 46 - 2.1.20
Day 47 - 3.1.20 looked all droopy and sad. watered with nutes 2/3of dose in 4l of ph water. hour later looking better.
Day 48 - 4.1.20
Day 49 - 5.1.20 watered all three plants with 2l with heavy almost full nutes.

I made a concoction of living soil using ingredients I could find of subcools formula. Theoretically all i need to add is ph balanced water. And a tea once I decide to flower. I'm waiting for some gadgets[ph and moisture meters]to come in before doing any extensive watering.

- introduced 7W far red light bulb to boost stretching (girls are VERY bushy)
- slowly drying soil (so I drilled more holes on side of the pot like a cheap dyi airpot)

Keyra (the bigger one) is what I would say a stretching phase and Margot (smaller) evidently falls behind but not stretching yet, I hope she catches her atleast little bit..

week 12 ill be flipping those plants tomorrow cant wait to harvest those nuggets they are gonna be huge 😀 lets cross fingers and hope for the best.day 1 of flowering i love my hortilux 1000 hps 😀 last day for week 12 im changing water tonight and onto week 13😀

Mystery Made 2 got harvested 16/11 and I'm planning to let her dry for 14-21 days before trimming and put them in glass+boveda (58%) and grove bags for final cure.
Drying conditions are as follows:
16-18°C
55-60% RH

Was a good learning experience. I'm not going to get near the weight I expected from these, and though the bud turned out really tasty, I don't think I'll grow it again. I'm not sure I would recommend to a newbie. It was in some awesome living soil, but some deficiencies crept up in flower, and I wasn't impressed with the roots upon post mortem exam. On second look, even the photo on msnl's site shows some spots that looks like deficiencies. Definitely some grower errors here, but all of my ongoing grows faced the same challenges and these just seemed less adaptable. Anyhow, I've been graced with some clean meds for now, and I'm a happy growin hooman. 👽
I also probably won't do any more autoflowers moving forward. Just not my style. There are some great peeps doing outstanding work with autos though. Best to them and all! :)
D82 - 12.12 - cut the second auto cheese yesterday. Let her go as long as I was comfortable. Think her run in with the gnats resulted in the the deficiencies. Awfully covered in trichs, so it should make for tasty smoke after dried, trimmed and cured.. Shall update
