There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Outside all the time Day 71: looking really good 🤗 watered with rain water. Day 74: Almost finished, giving her maybe two more weeks👌🏻 Smell is Intoxicating watered today with supplements: 1ml/l Green Sensation, 1ml/l Cal Mag, 2 ml/l Powerzyme. Rain water and a little tap water to get to an EC of 1.6 and a pH of 6.4👌🏻 Day 76: Today she got rain water from me🤗 She's drinking a lot because it's really hot outside right now. IT should cool down in a couple days to more tolerable temperatures 🌞🌞🌞

Week 3 closing out with lots of stuff happening!😍 On Day 14, she was repotted into her forever-home, 20L airpot, Terra Light Mix from Plagron, amended with some rice husks i have still left over and some limestone. Watered in with 3 Liters @6.0PH, 2ml/L Grow (up from 0.8 last time - trying to push the limits a bit) and 1ml/L rootjuice, and a generous sprinkling of great white mycorhizzae. Afterwards, i left her ample time to regenerate and didnt stress her all too much. Just kidding 💩. On Day 16, i chopped of her head because i felt like it and havent topped in a while.😈 Day 19 i watered her with 4L, 5.9PH, 1ml/L Roots and 2ml/L Grow. On Day 20 i brought out the first LST stakes since she's getting very bushy and i didnt want to defoliate already, seeing as i stressed her enough the last couple of days 😬

my best harvest to date 🙂 I got 196g dry and cured, of which 85g for the biggest one, the one with only 3 colas; no popcorn bud, and a good general density. A nice smell, not too strong, but it lasts a long time 😏 I took the 85g of the big one + 90g of leaves (from my numerous haircuts) for a second bubble hash experiment (see vid) this time I reached a ratio of 7.1%, so not huge, but so good and powerful 🤩

Week 7 for Strawberry Gorilla by fastbuds, Absolutely loving this plant atm cant believe how much shes bulked up flower wise putting in mind shes only been in flower for 3 weeks! Shes been giving out such a sweet strawberry like scent cannot wait for her to be done. Getting a little worried because of the weather we've been having 😪 just rain on rain.... whenever i can i put her under shelter but the humidity is very high because of it. She was fed only once this week with some FPJ, Regulator, Enzym+ & Topbooster by @aptus_portugal just to give it an extra boost!

Smell on this one is absolutely Denky she's been so tricky all the way through flower only the last week have got her under control and she definitely packed a bit of weight on in that time

Muay Thai has multiple personalities. Plant developments stages are all over the map. From late stage flower in the main column to newly vegging top. Other places, there are flowers in various stages. These pics are from the same plant on taken a few seconds apart. LOL On the late stage flowers, I don't think they can develop in a better quality. Muay Thai is spending energy in earnest growing. So, I am removing late flowers to reduce risk of rots and mold. Checked out @Philindicus Lemon AK diary (week 10). I am following his method and take these trims to make super charged Everclear infusion. Last week, I was feeding both the terpenes nutes and vegging grow nutes. Temperature is back to normal hot with humid air. Humidity and VPD: Hottest part of the day during the week; 34 degree C, Humidity 64%, VPD 1.9 Coolest part of the night during the week; 24 degree C, Humidity 73%, VPD 0.8 Feeding strategy – I am supporting my girl mid-life crisis. I feed her both terpene raising yoghurt. Also add more grow nutes for her. This is pellets earth worm casting and sugar refinery sludge. Feeding Summary Monday evening – Compost tea ( 1.5 ml / liter compost tea + 1.5 ml/liter humic acid). Tuesday evening – Yoghurt ratio ( 1 liter yoghurt to 5 liter of water) Wednesday evening – Molasses ( 2.5 ml / liter). Thursday – sprayed anti-insect microbe Beauvaria bassiana. Friday evening. 1.5 ml/liter humic, 1.5 ml/liter compost tea. Friday evening. Add 200 grams of Earth Worm Casting and another 200 grams of sugar refinery sludge as top soil dressing, to 25 liter basket.

She has stretched a lot more than I thought she would! Day 18 of flower and I believe we’re done stretching from here on out. I defoliated a bit so some of the lower bud sites can absorb some light. Also gave her some nutrients this morning. Onward to week 10 ✌️🏾

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 As you can see these ladies are growing nicely. They're both at the same height 59cm but one is wider than the other. Quite nice so far. That's 12cm in one week same as the Royal Gorilla. Evenly spread canopy, the one that had better shape from the start now has longer colas. Both are stacking nodes nice and tight. They have a nice green color to them but you can't really appreciate that in the pictures. I'm still trying to get a hand of this new phone, I might just go back to the camera. 🤔 Starting to get a little shine to them, I think this strain will be the first in forming trichomes. They give off a nice smell but I can't put my finger on it yet. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. Both Plants looking good. Bud growth doing really well, they are fattening up good. Trichomes, monitoring daily, seen a few Amber on both plants. Mimosa: strong citrus smell. Pipe Light Kent: strong smell, buds are fatter than Mimosa. Both plants close to harvest, leaves are turning yellow. Stopped a couple of nutrients, following FoxFarm feeding schedule for soils.

It just goes to show great results can come from Autoflowering plants ! This is a incredible strain plenty of taste and smell. With a lovely relaxed stone great for anytime of the day ! But smoke to much and you will feel sleepy ! Great strain helps me sleep and feel relaxed ! 420 Fastbuds Week 8 Gorilla Cookies Auto Hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving. This week's update on these 2 is good. I did go away for a few days and a couple of the lower leafs did get a little crispy but over all they where fine from the looks. The smell coming off them is absolutely intoxicating. Sticky when you touch the flowers. All in all Happy Growing.

The Tropicana Cookies from fast buds is doing good after a little accident with her pot falling over an roughing her up a little hoping she didn't get effected to much other then that she's been growing great under the fold 6 looking nice an healthy

I feed her with full strength of nutes in every 4 days. The leaves are much healthier, so this is the way to go. The smell is lacking which is weird, but hopefully the end product will be fine.

Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites.
