XL livin the XL life and just dominating the tent with her phatness , she’s a frosty big gurl , fruity and sticky . I’ve almost reached the end of this journey. My caution has kept me one step behind, but it has paid off in terms of scent and aroma. I think the harvest window will open a bit later — probably at the end of next week. For now, I’m not seeing any amber trichomes. This first experience with RQS F1 genetics has been very positive so far. The plants have always been strong, vigorous, and full of life. Everything went smoothly. They stayed compact in size but were productive and very consistent in expressing their phenotype. Milky Way has also proven to be an excellent variety — it has developed trichomes that look like the bristles of a brush.

July 18: Plants are recovering from hail damage 7 days ago. Weather is good now but it’s fairly hot reaching 30 C the last couple days and about 21 C overnight which is quite warm for Edmonton. Starting force flowering tonight. That is 10 h darkness plus 2 h virtual darkness using 730 nm far red light at dusk to initiate dark mode. In garage at 9 pm, few seconds of 730 nm far red and then out of garage at 7 am. 12 h darkness within the ‘26 h day’. Your mileage will vary at different latitudes but that timing works for me here at 53 N.

On 7th day of flowering we removed lower little branches and made some lollipopping on the plants. Also we made some defoliation on gelatos cause they were very bushy but almost removed only biggest fan leaf. As plants were bigger enough we started adding granural mineral NPK 12-18-23 1 g/L and CalMag Xtra by advanced nutrients 1mL/L to the solution.

Drinking a lot more then prev week's. Keeping nutes and PH in check. Got a hard time with temp & RH flux. tried a tower fan,,No result yet.
