👉The plant is looking vibrant and seems to continue to flourish, albeit seemingly taking its sweet time. Seems like its in slow motion compared to its veg cycle. To see changes you have to look close or compare pix from a couple days apart. The flowers are getting more aromatic, and has the typical wonderfully sweet lemony stank think going on. Super frostiness as can be seen in the pix. The trichomes are totally illuminated by the lights used by my camera (flash and an LED worklight). May rival the gorilla glue for frosty overload. No new nutrient issues have shown up. The burned tips remain and I hope my good fortune continues. It developed a lot of smaller branches and will have lots of pop-corn buds. Shouldn’t be too much of a big deal and will add to the hash production in the end. 👉My time has been slightly curtailed due to work demands and I hadn’t been able to mule any water home until today. In the absence of the 98% pure water I get from a medical facility, Ive been using tap water run thru a 1cf carbon tank. The tank dechlorinates the water, I use it for my outdoor patio garden of herbs, peppers and single tomato plant. The pure water was 4micro siemens conductivity, the carbon tank water is 45micro siemens (tap is 245). The carbon tank water is far less reactive. This is evident when adjusting the pH. A batch made with the RO water needs just a few drops of pH down to reach desired pH. A batch made with the Carbon tank water takes a couple droppers full. Ive also noticed that the plant may not be able to absorb as much of the nutrients with the carbon tank water. This may be pure anecdotal stoner’s observation, but the EC of the run off has been almost impossible to get down to matching inflow. Its staying 20+ and shoots right up to 30+ each day. I started just giving double volume feed water and no low EC solution. Partly because I broke one of the jugs which I used for mixed solution batches. The high EC run-off may also be a result of the dried nutrients on the side of the pot being washed away more due to the higher volume of inflow. So I may be chasing my tail on this by giving full strength nutrients at double the volume with double run-off. Good thing is that you cant over water in coco unless you try really, really hard. 2 fertigations in one day isn’t even close. The plant is drinking more each day as measurement of the run-off compared to inflow shows the saturation volume. I fertigate in two steps when doing high volume, divide total volume in half and feed half and then measure the runoff. I then feed the second half and again measure the run-off. The difference between the inflow and run-off is the amount taken in by plant and lost to evaporation. I split the total in half to get a more accurate measurement of saturation level and plant intake/evaporation level. I then use that information to help predict how much solution should be given at the next fertigation event. This coming week I will be switching to the late bloom solution mix recipe for the GHE drain to waste chart. I mix it to the upper level strength for desired EC. The difference is slight. It removes rapid start from the mix, and reduces others slightly, except for bloom and micro. I should be able to return to the RO water for the rest of the grow. 👉I haven’t taken an actual measure of the height this week, but at tonight’s fertigation I measured the tips of the center colas were 15” from the light, so I will raise them in the morning back to 18”. The plant could probably take being fairly close to the lights, but I don’t think its nessessary to risk light stress if I don’t have to. There is still 6 more inches of verticle room to raise the lights. If the 99 decides to just keep going slow and steady, packing on bud-age, I can also spread the lights outward and angle the lights to give the two top colas more space.

3/23 12AM Monday. BKO I made from crossing Gelato 44 and Bubbles Blueberry F4 is way better than I thought LOTS of color. All are doing good, even with soft water..as long as I flush out way more than im used to. That’s an awesome success story, congratulations on pulling off that pollen chuck and getting viable seeds from your targeted branch! As a non-professional breeder working in a home setup (with the challenges of being homebound and managing everything solo), nailing a deliberate cross like this is seriously impressive. You basically created your own hybrid: **Blueberry Bubbles F4** (from Brothers Grimm Seeds, a refined take on DJ Short’s classic Blueberry lineage—sweet, creamy blueberry terps with vanilla, subtle lavender/chamomile, and those nostalgic fruity/skunky notes) pollen hitting a **Gelato 44** (the Tyson 2.0 collab with Royal Queen Seeds, which is Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC—potent, indica-dominant with citrus-cookie-earth-mint flavors, high THC around 22%, and dense, resinous buds). The result you got—those **bright red calyxes** (the small, teardrop-shaped protective structures that hold the pistils and get super frosty with trichomes)—is a beautiful, eye-catching phenotype expression. It’s not something you see every day, and it turned out “really nice” as you said. ### Why the Bright Red Calyxes? If you snap more pics of the full buds or plant, I’d love to see how it fills out.👨‍🔬 3/24 4:07 AM Montel dream widow is doing great so are the two Mike Tyson‘s and the bubbles I have a Cork Screw auto in there I kind of made a mistake. I couldn’t tell it wasn’t flowering and I moved it from one tent to the other, so that one has been flowered and bagged and back to flower. I don’t know what’s gonna happen but they’re all looking great. Wish I could figure out what I’m doing right now but having these two lights instead of one at lower wattage and getting a lot of runoff, I take them into the bathtub to water them now just to make sure that the EC is where I want it to be when I’m done. It’s a heck of a lot more work this way and I didn’t mean to have this many going so it’s still working out really good though. So I have all the trailer Park boys, Montel, iced tea, two Mike Tyson’s and the one that I made the blueberry knockout that one’s really nice. I can put this on that tumor on my neck since I can never seem to die. 3/25 1:30PM MONTEL!!!! DREAM WIDOW IS THE STAND-OUT FOR LOOKS AT THE MOMENT..... Montel's Dream Widow is looking absolutely killer in these photos. The undulating, "tarantula-like" leaf pattern emerging from the buds is one of the coolest and most distinctive traits I've seen on a cannabis plant in a while. Those long, serrated fan leaves are curling and radiating outward from the cola in a wavy, almost spidery or "hairy" fashion, giving the whole bud a wild, textured, almost alien look. The heavy frost (those dense white trichomes coating everything) combined with the way the leaves are twisting and overlapping makes it look like the flower is exploding with movement. It's hypnotic and unique—definitely not your standard dense, compact cola. The water consumption rise significantly since last week. The plant is watered now every 3-4 days with one liter of water. High temperatures and loser humidity are still present, even though not as bad as before. I put the light today to 80% (40 watts) and increased the nutrition dosis nearly to the recommended level by Canna, since the plant is developing faster than expected.

Day 21 flowering: Here we are after the stretch period has slowed down and I am now the proud grower of some great looking sweet seeds buds. All of the girls are producing really good looking, healthy budlets with a couple having some very dark purple to them too. I have spent some time re training them to a more open frame so the light can reachbthe developing lowers better and the airflow can be made more fluent below decks too. G girl#1 has some very nice tops forming up now with node spacing that should bring them to a more joined up affair. her size is good and I think I could have allowed her to grow more height for her canopy. She has a fair few mains going on too. G Girl# #2 8s still way out in front in bud development and her size is on par with #1. She has remained fairly squat in size and again I feel she could have been allowed way more height. Her node spacing is perfect for creating very fat donkey colas now and they are beginning to reach each other on the stems. opening her out and only removing the damages and very big fan leaves has definately been a must do job . she is ripe for bud rot with those chunky buds and so much foliage to trap the warm air too. G Girl#3 remains the stunted sister of the grouping in her 30L pot but I do think thisbis a pheno thing and not just the smaller pot. she has a slightly lighter colour to her leaves too. She has wider node spacing than the others but this could be more about perspective of size too. G Girl#4 is turning into the stars of the show for me. I wanted to try the tie down 5th node method that I have seen done by another grower i share info with. seeing the result and how it allows the lowers to form with very little slow down for recovery as topping does. The lowers have still shot out to become mains rhe same way but her size has kept going. Her node spacing is good and again I expect some nice thick colas to form. I am getting a diesel whiff from close up so far but expect the smells to start anytime now. I am very happy with this strain so far and find it very easy to work with. They seem very happy with their soil and I did add shogun boost and pk warrior to their major feed yesterday too. Sweet Cheese is looking good. I am glad i left her to go natural too and seeing her managable height , I think this is the way to go in future with her strain. Ab und zu gibt’s ein bisschen Komposttee – alles andere holt sie sich direkt aus der Erde. 🌱 Blüte seit dem 5.11 am Start und bisher läuft alles nach Plan 😎🍁

27/02: the plants that looked wilted in the previous week have come back to life as they are being fed 1 litre of water now - it was an underwatering issue. all plants including the ones that were lagging behind have exploded with their stigmas and there are plenty of bud sites throughout. humidity is still a bit of an issue though I am installing an industrial sized dehumidifier into the grow tent as of next week. again there is some over crowding though I do not want to stress the plants by taking too many leaves at this stage. will give it at least another week before another trim. plants are on average around 30 inches high. reacting well to the nutes and all is going well.

Day 50 - Started week 8 today with a healthy drink of water and nutes. Things are looking real good with this girl and she’s finally starting to get a bit of frost going on her tops now too. Didn’t do any defoliating today, just gave her a drink and tucked the leaves as best I could. Day 51 - Nothing much new today, just got her out and got some updated pictures. Also did a little defoliating then tucked her back into the tent and tucked the leaves again. She’s budding up nicely and starting to put off a tiny bit of a sweet/creamy smell. Day 52 - She’s budding and frosting up more each day. I did go through today and removed quite a few of the top fan leaves over the middle of the plant to keep everything opened up, they were getting pretty big and overshadowing everything. I tucked everything else in the middle and she should be needing some water tomorrow. Day 54 - Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today, she was pretty dry. I was also told before to add some molasses to the water so added a bit of that as well and see what it does for her. Went ahead and removed a couple dead lower leaves as well. Looks like she’s about done with her stretching and is just packing on the flowers now. Day 55 - Nothing much new going on today, just removed another couple dead and big fan leaves. The buds are fattening up nicely and starting to smell a bit stronger now. Day 56 - The end of week 8 and she is fattening up nicely and really starting to put out a sweet smell. The pictures don’t do it any justice but some awesome colors coming out as well. She’s drinking a lot of water so I’ll be giving her some more water and nutes tomorrow.

Hoping to have more space soon when I chop my gg4 sherbert , I have four plants in flower in one tent and its pretty overcrowded and too humid as a result. The gg4 is not fading or maturing as fast as I would like but I guess I'm just gonna have to be patient

Didn’t post some of the final weeks but this is the end. It was a tough grow - I don’t love 100% coco in the autopots and will be doing a 70/30 mix moving forward. Got a pound of great smoke from this one. Hadn’t gotten a pound off a plant before so it was nice to get this yield

The end of the Sweet Seeds Cup 🏆. I can only praise this strain 👍. She grew perfectly, did not cause any problems and was very healthy :-). The best thing about the whole strain is its smell and taste (very kushy ). It was also a very difficult decision between 9 and 10 stars, but there was still something missing for 10 stars, but it was very, very close 😋. I can wholeheartedly recommend this strain to anyone who is looking for a very good Kush 👍. I'm already looking forward to the next Sweet Seeds St strains. You are doing a great job, and for me you have some of the best genetics on the world market 👍.
