Plant A (left side) started pushing through the medium first after 48 hours. Plant B germinated successfully at 96hrs but due to cold climate and moisture in the seed the seed got too cold and turned to mush. At 96hrs Plant A had reached 1.25" and had started to spread the first set of leaves. It is now approximately 2" tall and the first fan leaves are about 1/3" long. Growth is steady and effortless for this girl. So far the self watering set up, grow light, and medium have been treating plant A great. After 60hrs she became fully exposed. Plant B germinated as stated before and died, Plant C was planted 5 days into the germination week of Plant A. No pre-soak, just dry seeds dropped directly into the medium. Miracle Grow myth has so far been proven wrong (performance organics, not regular potting soil). In addition to the set up, I found a water bottle diffuser I have on a 6hr rotation (6 on and 6 off) that I found for $9USD at a grocery outlet. Humidity now steady at 31% on the gauge and about 65% Relative Humidity. Temps sit steady around 68-71°F. Shooting for 360g or 180g from each plant utilizing LST. We are seeing if organic miracle grow has enough nutes for an autoflower, with 3 months of nutrients as stated from the bag it should end up timing out perfectly for harvest time with no flushing needed as nutrients will already be used up.

Leaves are green, no nutrients deficiency, she does what she’s good at, shape is clean, she’s doing so good that i’ll let her listen to some Four Seasons from Vivaldi this afternoon.

This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I’m keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.

Día 29, estoy ya un poco alucinado, es día 29 y no paran de crecer...he cambiado el agua he Intento subir un poco el ppm al agua, y me da excesos... Así que decido dejarlo bajo a 300ppm y creo que lo voy a dejar así hasta el final... Llevan enzimas de limpieza que descomponen el abono así que dejaré que se auto alimenten porque van super bien ... Haber si pasan hambre.. pero no lo veo claro...en fin no me quiero pasar en el engorde meterle mucho abono y están super verdes bonitas, y florecen a lo bestia así que dejaré que se consuman un poco el abono de las hojas... Día 36 veo que empiezan a tener carencia de magnesio y calcio, he añadido no sé, una locura de magnesio y calcio, también melaza, ácidos fulvicos y humicos y pk bastante.. lo fui subiendo de 150ppm a 400ppm y vi que se lo comían rápido y subían las hojas , al fondo vi que se empezaban a quemar las hojas y algunos pelos por falta de magnesio y calcio así, que me volví loco... De 400 ppm a 800ppm va cargada a tope... espero ahora no causar ningún exceso ... Mañana miraré como reaccionan a la bomba que les he metido van a tope al máximo, si veo que tienen exceso ,no habrá otro remedio que bajar ppm quitando y metiendo agua limpia, y si veo que van bien en las dejo... En teoría voy bajo de ppm tendría que ir a 1200ppm como mínimo, para la semana que voy y más si le añado co2... Pero bueno iré con 800ppm si veo que va bien lo dejo si veo que piden más le añadiré , de momento mañana investigaré... 😅😅 Día 37 por mucho que ayer les metí, más magnesio encimas ácidos fulvicos etc... No he visto ningún cambio... Así que he vuelto a indagar en el tema.... Y creo que más bien tienen carencia aparte del magnesio y calcio, tenían carencia de posforo y potasio, así que como no, me he vuelto loco echándole pk.... Tenía una ppm de 450 se lo subí a 800 y empezaron a subir las hojas, estaban como apagadas ... Total que me vine arriba y les he metido casi 1400 de ppm de sopetón... Así que mañana una de dos, o están quemadas por exceso , ( que no me extrañaría...) o están las hojas buscando la luz y engordando como locas.... Bueno como dije al principio del diario aprendo del error acierto... Y bueno ya se que en la 3 semanas de floración piden ya magnesio calcio y pk , el calcio magnesio que tenía , tenía nitrógeno y me dio exceso por eso estaban un poco con garra... Está vez he comprado calmag de biobizz que es orgánico y no contiene nitrógeno o eso e entendido... Pero si tiene será orgánico... En fin espero que en las k1 tizane no tener muchos problemas de nutrición he comprado un pack biobizz todo orgánico ....

Well week 7 day 1 (day 50) and the girls are starting to progress. Looking very sticky indeed. Bat taking a cold spell at the moment. Hopefully it passes quick. Day 51, added a small fan to circulate a bit more air as the buds are now starting to fatten up. Day 52, watered them tonight and took this little video. Day 53, just letting them be ✌️ Day 54, only one needed some water the other are still damp. Day 55, watered and fed the other two, really starting to frost up now. Pre soaked the canna pro plus coco with plant start at 2ml/1ltr No activity from the plant in the first three days. using a big baggie as a humidity dome which has helped keep humidity high for the 🌱 Noticed on day 5 that the root has made its way through the soil bigtime and was desperately reaching for the light... immediately placed under the phlizon 3000w (630w true power draw) COB LED using only the LED supplemental lights (270w)and started a 2ml/ltr dose of plant start Day 6 - Plant has started to recover from being in the dark too long, starting rhizotonic today also at 2ml/l alongside 2ml/l vitalink plantstart. Regularly misting the humidity dome to keep humidity as near 70% as possible (sometimes with rhizotonic spray) Temperature is between 23c and 27c throughout the day. Day 7 - Nothing much to report other than healthy looking seedling, I've been alternating between the COB (330w) and LED (270w) lights throughout the day, have not to wanted to put them both on together incase I fry her :D Tomorrow I'm starting my week 2 and im seriously considering transplanting to my final pot (smart pot) which is a 5gallon/19liter pot... (will seek advice below) and switching from 2ml/ltr vitalink plantstart 2ml rhizotonic schedule to canna A +B 2ml/ltr canna rhizotonic 2ml/ltr.

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Zamnesia Mango Kush continues to smell and is very sticky. It is tall and with packed buds It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

This girl has stretched like crazy the structure looks heavy sativa. She is building some buds but slowly compared to the other plants. Still amazed at the general health of her. Got them switched over to maxibloom. Just going to keep the nutrients pumping and see how long I can keep them happy.

Week 7 Flowering / Everything is looking great! The plants are well developed and covered in trichomes. Last week or close to it: about 50% milky trichomes on the Critical Widow and Amnesia Lemon, with some still clear and a few amber. I’m thinking about harvesting either in the next few days or in about a week while continuing feeding. 10/10/22 début de légumes pour la Gorilla sherbet 1,3 et 4. Cette plante ce développe vite, vers la fin de semaine les pistils sont apparus.

So, had an awful week here, outside temps are rising and my plant is getting fucked up. Super low humidity and super high temps are fucking her right up. Loads of foxtailing, lost all smell, feels kinda crispy despite daily watering. Need rid of this HPS lamp but money is tight so probably just gonna pull the plug entirely. Real shame.
