Of course towards end of harvest Mother Nature decides to fuck me with rain and then really warmer than average weather...it's been a battle with humidity and heat this week nearing finishing..... has lost some density due to this and also I can smell the grow a lot more...I'm guessing the heats volatizing my terpenes noice....got the foxtails aswell. Fffffuuu-

The yield this run was just amazing, the VIPARSPECTRA XS-2000 performed very well, they run so cool, it's just crazy, you can set the lights about 10 inches from your plants at 70% without fear of burning them, sweet seed cream mandarin auto al, always yields very well, this harvest was even better, largest amount from any Auto Flowers yet, I know that you folks that grow DWC can push it a bit better but when grown in the soil the terpenes and flavors seem to be a click better in my opinion. If you have not tried these seeds you just have to, you will not be disappointed!

Familia, estoy convencido de que esta variedad va a predominar del resto 🙈. No ahora en serio una gran variedad para cultivadores novatos, puedes plantarlas directamente a maceta y no se espigarán 3/3 comprobado. Parece muy sencilla de cultivar, controlamos ph , temperatura y humedad que estén en sus respectivos valores. Se ven bastante sanas, pronto tocará hacer algún trasplante iremos viendo próximamente

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. By far the tallest girls in the tent. Her colas are stacking up nice and tight if she keeps that up we'll have some nice dense colas. 😁 Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

Lookin good, no more herms so far as I’ve tightened things up hopefully that’s the last of them for good. I installed a 4Inch AC infinity fan and filter as an intake so I have been able to close all of the vents. At this point the leaf strip has proven to be a solid method, I have nothing to compare bud size at this point but just the extra space it opened up is a plus. I’m sure the lowers will be a little more firm and the plants obviously haven’t had to be fed as often as usual so its saving time, water and nutrients. The added microbes have also allowed me to keep my ppm around 1000 instead of 1080ish without any sign of deficiencies. The Mandarin cookies x Dionysus has a little cal-mag issue but that was a trait from the mother which out of 10+ grows all had a cal-mag deficency. 07.07: Nach dem Stress die letzten Tage (Umtopfen, Toppen), darf sie sich in den nächsten Tagen ein wenig regenerieren und neue Blattmasse ausbilden. Der Plan für die Zukunft: *4-Way-Main-Lining* Im laufe der Zeit nehme ich die Triebe unteren Nodie ab und habe somit 2 Nodien (2./3.) mit der ich weiter trainieren werde.

3/6: Yesterday I fed half strength nutrients ph'd to both. Amnesia's runoff ph was 5.5. So I made another half gallon of half strength and ph'd it to 7.5 to get Amnesia's runoff to be 6.5. If only I had done this sooner and didn't mess up with the PH testing drops as opposed to using a ph meter, Amnesia's leaves could have still been green. I've been removing all of the dried, crispy ends as I find them, leaving the rest of the leaf intact to suck up as much light as possible. Timelapses are showing that the buds are fattening up well though. Trichome production has kicked in and is covering the leaves. Beautiful colors all around. 3/8: I don't think I can wait any longer to feed Amnesia. Vacation starts midday tomorrow, Thursday, and I'll be away until Monday evening. I'm mixing up a half strength nutrient mix with molasses and epsom salt. I'm also going to try to set up a timer/pump system to water sunday night.

Hello my friends, ...May 30, 2022.. Day N°79.. ...Flowering day N°23... My three Feminized Bubblegum are fine, developing very good, they are beautiful, the flowers are awesome. I made a little defolliation. I feed them with the Hybrid Powder and some Booster from Green House Feeding Nutrients, I gave them some CalGreen from Metrop, the best Cal-Mag of the market. Week 10: This will be the final update before Harvest: I will update post harvest after the dry and weigh. Day 64-66: Decided I would continue feeding them until I harvest since they could go 7 days longer. Albeit with a half dose of Calmg and Boost(micro). All White Cracks seem to be doing good. I realized a few days ago the outer plants underneath the blurple LEDs seemed to be showing slight signs of light stress(the leaves were bending away from the light instead of toward it). I lowered the Blurples a few days earlier so I raised them back up. These are some FROSTY plants... Day 67-70: Going good, plants under the blurples responded postively to raising the lights. Seems I was wrong last week about these smelling stronger than the 4AM, it's actually the other way around lmao. But these are still some great smelling plants! Can't wait to dry and weigh that thicc double bud and main cola from WC#1! Hope it's not too airy, they look like pretty dense buds! Really bummed that I have to harvest this weekend, I would have liked to let #2 and #3 go for another week, but it's all good! Next time! Still this will probably the dankest shit I've smoked in a very long time 😂😎 #1 is probably the most mature at this point with about 90% cloudy and a 5-10% amber. #2 and #3 are the same with about 70-80% cloudy and a few amber. This has been an awesome learning experience and I'm already thinking about ways to improve my next grow! These White Cracks have been quite resistant to my newbiness! Awesome plants to grow! Much easier to hanlde than the 4AM!

Very enjoyable grow, awesome cultivar, this is what I work for, my nuggets have been grown with love and dedication and the final result is a a plant that has been very thankful and she has provided me amazing sticky flower with those red hairs that I love so much, very strong cerebral buzz, sativa high definitely, makes me remember a lot sour diesel, definitely super pungent loud 🔊 aroma coming from the jars but she was stinking the grow tent when she was there, amazing strain!

2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Deviations in either direction (too high or too low) disrupt the enzyme's structure, activation state, and interaction with its substrates, leading to decreased activity and impaired RuBP regeneration. (LIME GREEN CHLOROSIS) Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Adequate light intensity ensures Rca can effectively maintain Rubisco in its active, carbamylated state. •Maintain optimal temperature: Rca is highly temperature-sensitive and can become unstable at moderately high temperatures (e.g., above 35°C/95F° in many C3 plants), which decreases its ability to activate Rubisco. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. We’re driven to question defaults when we experience vuja de, the opposite of déjà vu. Déjà vu occurs when we encounter something new, but it feels as if we’ve seen it before. Buds are growing, all levels are stable so started to remove some fanleaves. Still 2-3 weeks to harvest so when I cut on a daily basis I believe there are no fanleaves left at harvest time. Then I can just cut them and put them in the drying net. Turned down CO2 to 600PPM so they can rest a bit... not sure what will happen now.
