On day 70 they both went down. The trichomes showed the were ready. The last week I kept the girls in the shade a bit during the day. We´ve had temperatures close to 40 degrees C. I didn´t want to expose them to too much heat.

After a week of super stretch to today 52 centimeters which crashes the 100% growth mark finally bud sites became clearly visible. Now for the final phase. Water intake is massive. When I upped to 2.5l per plant per 2 days from before 1.5l I saw zero difference in how fast the soil went dry etc. The plants stopped transpiring as much such that my humidity came a bit down. I was up to 60% at some times during the day. But it’s down to 50-55 again. Depends a bit on how often I vent the room. Gotta have to have a final stress point which is that I might have too move. Will share some pictures of how I’ll pull it off. Stay tuned.

Flower development definitely set back right from the beginning with extreme light intensity reaching 1650 ppfd before corrected. Never fully took off I don’t think. Midway through week 7 started to slowly dial back the intensity from 900 at tops to 650 ppfd. This is a 9.5-10 week strain. Using fish shit to keep things ramped up, also Bokashi Bran and worm casting. Also mixing in Gaia seaweed extract 0-0-17 with the fish shit. Not a whole lot more needed that the soil and top dressings doesn’t already have, if anything at all. I just like to give it that extra kick. I had completely wiped out those pesky fungus gnats and future offspring before flower, but they came back after top dressing and adding more soil. They come in the bag soil, and while I was on holidays for 10 days they came back and I wasn’t on top of the new wave of those dirty bastards. Just about got them cleared out again with the use of nematodes and sticky traps.

11/21/24 Short facts: - Watered: 1 x 0.75L, 1 x 0.75L, 1 x 1.5L, 1 x 1.75L — 4.75L - VPD @ 1.4 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 80% ~700 to 1050 PPFD - BioBizz Bio-Bloom increased to 3ml/L - BioBizz Bio-Grow increased to 3ml/L - Getting colder! At night between 18 to 19°C --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There isn’t much to report this week. She’s doing fine, buds are getting bigger and thicker! Since the weather is getting quite cold for the region - and we’ve already had a bit of snow - the cellar where my grow tent is set up is cooling down, with nighttime temperatures dropping to 18–19°C. Therefore, I’ve ordered some heat mats, which should arrive tomorrow. I’m aiming to stabilize the root temperature at around 22°C consistently, so the nights won’t be too cold anymore. I’ll go into more detail in next week’s update.

Overall it was a great first time grow. The outcome was smaller than expected. This was caused by the heavy under watering, that stunted the growth of the plant. However the 26g of weed that I got from this harvest is amazing! Smoking is very smooth and the sativa effects are great.

1/11/25 these two phenos are literally the complete opposites. i labeled them from most sativa looking seedling, to the most indica looking. i believe #1 to be the closest to the mimosa parent and #5 may be the closest to the king kush parent. im not positive on this but one things for sure is that these are the most dramatically different phenos out of my 5 seeds. everything else kinda feel somewhere in the middle. its interesting and so far, every pheno has been something great. 1/12/25 checked the trichomes well today. #1 is interesting, she has a mix of clear and amber but not very many of them are cloudy. #5 has about 50/50 clear cloudy.

🌸 Week 8 Flower – The Trichome Symphony Begins 🌸 Eternity Grow Cup This week… it’s all about the frost. ❄️ We are diving deep into the universe of trichomes, those magical crystal-like structures that define potency, aroma, and visual beauty. Each pheno this week is presented with its own dedicated video — so everyone can witness the uniqueness and evolution of these genetics firsthand. The photos? Focused close and true on the trichomes and their stalks, the very essence of the plant’s protective and expressive language. 💎 What Are Trichomes? Trichomes are tiny resin glands that cover the surface of cannabis flowers and sugar leaves. They’re responsible for producing and storing cannabinoids (like THC and CBD), terpenes, and flavonoids — the compounds that create the plant’s effects, scents, and flavors. They act as the plant’s natural defense — from UV rays, pests, and environmental stress — and in return, they gift us with beauty, medicine, and art. Why So Many Trichomes Here? This room has turned into a crystal forest thanks to a harmonious mix of tech, care, and nature: 🔹 Spectrum Tunings: Using the TrolMaster system, we’ve dialed in a spectrum rich in reds, far-reds, and UV at precise times to stimulate trichome production. The plants are responding in full. 🔹 Lighting: The under-canopy power of the ICL 300s, combined with the canopy-level intensity of the Model 1s, is creating full-spectrum saturation from top to bottom. Buds are stacked, frosty, and glowing from every angle. 🔹 Nutrition Synergy: The tag-team of Aptus Holland and Plagron has been flawless. The clean base, balanced micro and macro elements, and biostimulants have driven these girls into full expression mode. You can see the nutrition working in every crystal. 🌿 Where Are We Now? We’re likely one week to ten days from harvest, but of course we’ll follow the plants’ signals. They’re still swelling and building — it’s the final stretch, and they’re sprinting. Nerdy Note: Trichomes can be bulbous, capitate-sessile, or capitate-stalked — and in this run, the capitate-stalked ones are standing tall and loaded. Expect a full cannabinoid and terpene profile when it’s time for analysis.( bro talk not lab hihihihi) 🌟 Let’s take a moment to recognize that we’re witnessing the peak of this cycle. This is living art, frozen in time by a camera lens but alive in scent and energy. This Week’s Feeding Program To support this explosive trichome production in Week 8 Flower, we’re feeding with precision and purpose. Every drop counts now, and here’s the clean, efficient mix we’re running: • Aptus Holland – Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • Aptus Holland – System Clean: 0.25 ml/L • Aptus Holland – RO Water Condition: 0.8 ml/L • Aptus Holland – All-In-One Liquid: 1.25 ml/L • Plagron – Green Sensation: 1 ml/L • pH set at 6.2 💧 We’re keeping it clean, clear, and consistent. No extra PK boosters or unnecessary additives. Just smart nutrition, tuned spectrum, and stable conditions to let the plants express themselves naturally. The synergy between Aptus Holland’s Clean Program and Plagron’s Green Sensation is clearly showing in every frosty bud. This week, we’ve fine-tuned the spectrum to push the plants into full resin-production mode. I’ve reduced the white light intensity to 40% while keeping the reds and UVs running at 100%. This shift focuses energy on the wavelengths that directly stimulate secondary metabolite production—especially trichomes. Red light enhances flower development and density, while UV exposure encourages plants to produce protective compounds, like cannabinoids and terpenes, as a natural defense. This balance between lower photosynthetic pressure and high-spectrum stimulation is helping the girls finish strong, frosty, and full of character. 🙏 Massive thanks to all sponsors, followers, friends, and growers in the community. To the ones competing, to the ones just watching — THANK YOU. 🌼 Flowering – Week 2 (Days 36–42) 10/18 (Day 36 – Start of Week 5): Watered with the same nutrient solution as last week (2.5 ml/L CalMag + 1.4 ml/L Coco A + 1.4 ml/L Coco B). Not adding PK yet — I’ll wait until the stretch fully ends before introducing it. Measured heights today: tallest = 122 cm, shortest = 61 cm, average = 84 cm. Did not measure runoff this time. 10/19 (Day 37): Average vertical growth today: +4.66 cm, showing the stretch is slowing down. Watered again with the same solution as yesterday. The canopy remains uneven, with clear height differences between phenotypes — I’ll adjust pot heights soon to improve light distribution. Plants look healthy overall, no visible stress or nutrient issues. 10/20 (Day 38): Watered with water + CalMag + AN Micro (micronutrient maintenance day). Adjusted the height of the shorter pots, and now PPFD across the canopy is much more uniform. Average daily growth was +5.33 cm — the defoliation slowed them down briefly, but they’ve regained momentum. The tallest plant is now 132 cm, and I’ve had to raise the lights to their maximum height — any further stretch could become a problem for space. 10/21 (Day 39): Watered with the same nutrient solution as before, increasing total volume to 1.5 L per plant to achieve about 25% runoff. Performed a massive defoliation — foliage density was too high, and the dehumidifier couldn’t keep up with transpiration. Suspect that the excessive stretch was partially due to insufficient light intensity, since readings were only ~360 PPFD when ideal for this stage is 500–600 PPFD. Raised light intensity to 430 PPFD to gradually correct this. 10/22 (Day 40): Same watering as yesterday (1.5 L, ~25% runoff). Runoff: EC 1000, pH 6.6 Plants look strong and are adapting well to the increased light. Tomorrow I’ll introduce PK 13/14 at low dosage to initiate the first phase of bloom boosting. 10/23 (Day 41): Watered with 1.5 L. Introduced 0.3 ml/L PK 13/14 (first light dose) and 0.5 ml/L AN Micro after noticing one plant showing small brown spots between leaf veins (possible early micronutrient deficiency). Runoff: EC 1000, pH 6.6 Plants look stable overall, no visible stress from new additives. 10/24 (Day 42 – End of Week 5): Watered again with the same solution as yesterday. Input/Runoff: EC 1000, pH 6.6 Humidity has been difficult to control — RH stays around 60%, which lowers VPD. Planning to increase airflow and raise temperature slightly to improve VPD levels and moisture evacuation. Week 5 Summary 🌸 Stage: End of stretch and transition to full flower development. 📈 Growth: Height stabilized around 130 cm (tallest). Stretch nearly complete. ⚙️ Feeding: Base mix: 2.5 CalMag + 1.4 A/B (EC 1300). Runoff steady at EC 1000 / pH 6.6, indicating perfect nutrient uptake. Introduced PK 13/14 (0.3 ml/L) and AN Micro (0.5 ml/L) for bloom support. 💧 Watering: 1.5 L with 25–30% runoff per plant. No salt buildup detected. 💡 Lighting: PPFD increased from 360 → 430 µmol/m²/s after noticing under-lighting. Canopy adjusted by raising pots; more uniform distribution achieved. ✂️ Defoliation: Heavy leaf removal on Day 39 to control RH and open airflow. 🌡️ Environment: RH stable around 60%, but VPD slightly low (target ~1.2 kPa). Working to improve air exchange and temperature for better balance. 🌿 Overall health: Strong recovery after defoliation, no new deficiencies or stress. Early bud stacking visible. ➡️ Plan for Week 6 – Flowering Week 3 (Days 43–49) 🎯 Objective: Consolidate flowering, strengthen bud sites, and maintain climate stability. Nutrients: Maintain base feed at EC 1300–1400 µS, pH 5.8 ± 0.1. Increase PK 13/14 slightly to 0.4–0.5 ml/L if no stress appears. Keep AN Micro 0.5 ml/L once per week for micronutrient balance. Environment: Target VPD 1.1–1.3 kPa (temp ~26–27 °C, RH 50–55%). Improve dehumidification and circulation — consider stronger exhaust or intake fan cycles. Lighting: Increase PPFD to 500-600 µmol/m²/s. Monitor for any light stress at canopy level (tallest plants close to the lamp). Defoliation: No more heavy pruning — just remove large leaves shading bud sites. Observation: Track bud swelling and trichome development. Watch humidity closely during night cycles to avoid mold risk.

So, I'm in need of some Indica in my stash 😂 A seed was planted straight into a 20 litre airpot with compost and watered, and waited. Took her a couple of days to break ground but she's made it. She will be growing during my upcoming photoperiod grow, she may well be on 12/12 light at the end. I know it's not good for an auto but I have no other way of growing her. 3rd time growing Fastbuds Blackberry. I don't know if you guys want me to do this diary or not??
